" still you only a child still and your mother should grow up and stop acting like she's your age angel its not right at all " she said sounding a slight bit of angry
" I'll bring him over on my way to work " I said hanging up
Yes i love angel and I love how she's trying to help me but I really don't like her pitying me. It honestly makes me feel unworthy and useless. I
already feel like that but I don't want other people making me feel like that. I am more of a homebody and I don't like parties even this u
rarely ever go to them. Not by choice but my mother had me when she was very young and she's feels like I took her teenage years away from
her and all her partying so now the 32 year old women and is out partying and drinking every night while I'm stuck here taking care of are
apartment and her child. She just had my little brother who she named leon. I love my little brother to death but It's very stressful handling
this. He's only a couple months and I'm still working two jobs. It's hard to balance it sometimes but i manage. I have a couple other
friends but they don't really know a lot about me. They don't know I work as a stripper at night and that I take care of my grown ass mother and
her baby. I might as well say he's mine the way I take care of him. I have the chance and opportunity to leave all this behind and move out
but I still have love for her and I can't just abandon her like she's doing us. It really hurts me seeing my mother drunk and off drugs every
night and day. She hooked on drugs durning the day and it's annoying with all her crackhead friends but I put up with it. But I'm getting really
tired of living this life that's not mine. I wanna go to college and become a nurse but that's not gonna work out by the way my life's going and
I'm only 17. My only friend I really trust and zoey and she's the only one who really knows about my life and everything that goes on in it. It's not
that I don't want to let my other friends in. I just have a hard time opening up and letting people in. I've been hurt a lot especially by my mother. I
was gonna do my base makeup and everything home instead of in the dressing room and start my hair home as well. Leon was sleeping in his
crib and his stuff was all packed and her was ready for when I was ready to leave. I started my makeup humming lowly to the summer walker
that played lowly throughout my room. Everything I have u bought and worked hard for and I'm kinda proud of myself. I sat at my vanity
on my fluffy white chair
" angel baby let me borrow two dollars " my sloppy drunk mother said busting in my room
" I don't have it " I said trying not to pay her any attention
" bitch I know you got money up here and where your lil fast ass going " she said raising her voice a little bit
" can u try and keep it down leon sleeping and I'm not being fast I'm getting ready for work... something you should learn how to do " I mumbled the ending
" huh speak up hoe " she said coming closer
I just shook my head ignoring her crazy antics. She finally realized I wasn't gonna feed into her bullshit and gave up leaving out my room.
Sometimes I just gotta be the bigger person and just stop talking. I finished my makeup and was moving on to curling my hair and putting the
clips in so they'll still in till I get to work. I was finished getting ready and all I had to do was get dressed and put some stuff in my duffle bag. I put
on some Nike joggers and a black Nike hoodie. I put my other pair of heels in since I broke my last ones last night. I put in two new outfits I Bought
yesterday. I put in a new perfume and lotion set. Once I was finished getting my bag packed and ready for work. I fixed my room up a bit and
made my bed. My room was probably the only nicest thing in this apartment the rest is tore up and busted down a lil. The kitchen is alright and
not to dirty and nether if the living room but I gave up buying new stuff and decorating it because every time she would take stuff to a
pawn shop and try and get money so she could get liquor or drugs. I just made sure wit was clean and liveable. But my room was totally a
vibe and was really nice. I made sure to get two locks on my door because I don't trust her at all and I save my money and out half away
somewhere in my room where she couldn't find it. I unplugged my phone and grabbed my charger putting it in my sweater pocket. I also
grabbed my airpods placing one in my ear and connecting it and played summer walker album. She's my favourite artist ever and I'm in love with
her. I grabbed my bag and leon bag putting it over my shoulders. I picked him up and grabbed my car keys and keys. He already has his jacket
on and his lil slippers and I grabbed his blanket. I don't want him to be cold in the car. I got a car in august because I was sick of Ubering everywhere
or busing or even asking my friends to drive me places so I just used what I saved up to get a car. Nothing to fancy.
It's real cute to me. I walked out my room making sure I grabbed my Canada Goose jacket because it was freezing outside especially at
night. I turned my lights off and locked my door before walking down the hallway. I walked past my mother past out on the sofa. She looked so
disgusting and sloppy. I really hope I don't grow up to be like this. I shook my head and walked towards the door unlocking it. I opened it and
walked out feeling the crisp air from the hallways of the complex. I shut and locked the door before walking down the hall to the elevators. I pressed
the button and couple seconds later the elevator dinged indicating that it was here. The doors slowly opened and I stepped on pressing the
lobby button. We lived in the 5th floor. The elevator dinged again meaning we reached the floor. The doors opened making a rusted noise as
it did. Old ass elevators need to be renovated. I walked throw the lobby opening the side doors that led to the parking lot outside. I pressed the
unlock button on my key remote. I watched my head lights flashed as I did. I put leon in his car seat then are bags right beside him. Once I made
sure he was secure, I shut the door and walked around to my side. I opened the door and put my jacket letting out a deep breath. It was really cold
outside. I started up the car and waited for it to warm up a bit then turn the heat on. I connected my phone to the Bluetooth in the car and played
the same album I was just listening to in my air pods. I pulled out my parking spot and drove out the parking lot. I lived on sevside while zoey lived
on courtlandt. It wasn't a to bad drive considering it was going on 12am and no one was really outside. I worked a late shift tonight
meaning I would be leaving the club around 4 5 usually. I made it to her house and parked on the curb. I seen lovee and his crew outside. I guess he
noticed me pulling up because their attention
was focused on me as I got out. I went to the back and open the door. I grabbed his bag then took
him out. I kicked the door shut and grabbed my keys from the front seat. I got a key to her house.
" ayeee Angel love " lovee called out walking towards me
" wassup qway " I said calling him by the nickname I gave him
" what you on " he asked giving me a side hug
" nun dropping lee off then heading to work " I shrugged walking towards the townhouses she lived in
" that's wassup... forgot you worked at that club but me and my crew making a lil pop up for my lil bro 18th birthday tonight come to are section and do a lil sum " he said grabbing the keys from em to unlock the door
" thanks and just request me " I said walking in
" ight safety " he said before shutting the front door behind him
I walked into the living room seeing zoey watching a movie while drinking wine.
" hey girl where u want me to put him " i said smiling
" here I'll take him " she said standing up
I nodded and passed him to her. We had a age gap but nether of us really cared about it. I guess you can say she's like a big sister to me.
" ight zoey I'm heading out I'll see you later " I yelled before walking out
I got in my car and headed off to the club.
