A few months had passed after the whole fiasco with Regina and the Red Shoes...
The situation between Snow White and Arthur was still awkward, same goes to the other dwarfs, except for Merlin ad he already knows the secret.
Snow White and Arthur agreed to take it slow for now. What happened to Arthur made him humble and decided to learn more about Snow White first.
He then viewed what type of person she is and asked Charlotte for advice as she is the one who knows best.
By almost the end of the year, Charlotte and Merlin who were traveling as they decided to go on an adventure, got the news that Arthur's curse broke by Snow White and got a wedding invitation that will happen in the next couple months.
Their family, friends and the people of Snow White and Arthur's kingdom were all invited to celebrate their Holy Matrimony.
They changed up a bit their wedding as they gave each other rings, then saying their vows with their hands on the hilt of Excalibur.
During the dance on the reception, Merlin thought it was time for him to apologize to Snow White for using her and for the late apology. The kind-hearted Snow White accepted the apology and became honest about her feelings to him during the past. Merlin really felt bad since he was pulling on her feelings. But, as they said... it is all in the past.
You might be wondering as to why Merlin and Charlotte weren't married, yet. They weren't ready for the responsibility in handling a kingdom just yet and decided to go on an adventure. Once they think they were ready, Merlin finally proposed.
The F7... well... not active as of now. Arthur is also busy in handling two kingdoms, Jack and Hans are still loking for their most beautiful woman and the triplets who stayed at the base are still doing their inventions. They did decide that they might let some people to take their place.
"I heard the flowers for the wedding has arrived" Charlotte said to herself as she went in the parlour room, noticing the flowers
"This isn't what we requested" she muttered
"Of course it isn't" Charlotte sighed when she recognize the voice
"This flowers are my choosing for my wedding" Emilia, Charlotte's cousin, stated.
Emilia is the type of person who is bratty and wants to get what she wants. A sweet princess to the public eye, but all royalty know that she is different to what the public knows
"Then why did they told me that it was mine?"
"So I could gloat" Charlotte rolled her eyes
"And who is the unlucky soon-to-be husband?" They heard the door open, making Emilia squeal with delight
"My dear Merlin!" She immediately rushes to him as she run pass Charlotte who has an annoyed look.
Emilia who has her arms out with a kissy face was moved aside by Merlin when he placed his hands on her shoulder
"Hello, Emilia" he greeted and walked towards Charlotte
"Hello there my love" he then placed a kiss on her cheek. He then checked the flowers that arrived
"This aren't the flowers we talked about" he commented
"Because it was by my choosing" he turned to Emilia
"What?" He was confused as Emilia giggled at his cuteness
"For our wedding, silly. The wedding we imagined" Emilia has stars in her eyes as she immediately pulled Merlin away from Charlotte. Wrapping her arms around his as she snuggled up against him
"Emilia, you're making him feel uncomfortable" Charlotte said
"Nonsense, dear cousin. You just want to keep Merlin for yourself. Don't be selfish!" Charlotte sighed at this
"How could I be selfish? Getting Excalibur out of the stone proves that I am not"
"Those were all false news" Emilia waved her hand in exasperation
"The news was spread around all over the island that I'm one the of the women who did it" Charlotte know it was Snow White as Red Shoes who did it since Snow White told her. The news didn't spread around much since there were fewer witness; a father-daughter and Arthur
"You're just delusional, cousin"
"Says the person who is actually delusional in the first place" Charlotte whispered to herself
"Just let go of Merlin, Emilia. I still need to talk about my wedding!" Said girl quickly turned her head
"Your wedding? Who's the idiot that would say yes in marrying you?" Emilia questioned
"That idiot/I'm the idiot" Melin and Charlotte answered at the same time. Charlotte pointed to Merlin who is removing Emilia's grasp on me
"What?! But she is not lady-like! Not fit to be a Future Queen. She.... she is too boyish." Emilia exclaimed
"All of the reasons as to why I love her. And she is fit to be my Queen, because I can't imagine anyone else" Merlin said as he walked towards Charlotte. Placing a hand on her cheek and kissing her forehead, making her melt.
Emilia is in disbelief and was about to say something more crude comments about Charlotte, the door opens, revealing Emilia's mother
"Charlotte dear! I have the flowers you asked for" She greeted as she walks towards her neice and gave her and Merlin a hug. She pulled away and take a good look on the soon to be married couple
"I knew that the two of you will end up together" she jumped with excitement when the couple stared at each other
"Now... what are you doing here, Emilia?" She then noticed her daughter who was looking nervous
"I was... just uh..."
"With your favorite flowers? Emilia, I was saving those for someone! What did you do?" Emilia was saved when someone knocked on the door
"Princess Charlotte, the kitchen staff is ready for the food tasting" one of the guards announced
"You two best get going. I need to... handle this" Charlotte faced her Aunt
"Thank you" the couple was arm in arm as they left the mother-daughter, said daughter was already getting scolded as usual.
"Can't believe that she still hasn't matured for her age" Charlotte grumbled, Merlin just grinned at her
"You know how she is. Think she could be the right person for Average?" He suggested. Average was planning to visit them as he also got cursed by the Fairy Princess. He thought that Charlotte could help him break the curse. But just as he was about to step foot on the kingdom, he immediately got kicked-out
"Match made in heaven" they shared a laugh at this
"Why did you even caught her when she was running towards you? You could have just move aside and made her fall" she commented
"I couldn't let a woman fall. That would be rude of me" she glared at him with a pout
"Why not? You did it to me" he was confused when he heard that
"What do you mean?"
"You made me fall in love with you"
"Awwww, Lotte" he cooed
"Shut up!" She removed her arm around his and moved on ahead, Merlin catching up
"Lotte, getting all jealous! Even though you're already my soon-to-be wife. You got Merlin'd, didn't you? A different type of Merlin'd as a matter of fact!" she has a grin on her when she turned around, facing each other. She stepped much closer, leaving a little centimeter apart, wrapping their arms against each other. Merlin's face heated up when he heard her say...
"Oh please, I was already Merlin'd since we first met"
