I woke up early the next morning.
My parents had already left, since their work was scheduled to start at 6am and that was the time I would wake up.
Walking into the kitchen after getting ready, I could see a small, handwritten note from my mother:
Good morning, Y/n
We ate a bit of the chicken you brought last night.
Eat some of it too and have a good day at school!
We are very proud of you, so keep up the good schoolwork and study hard for your exams.
Love, mom.
I smiled softly at the note.
It made me happy to see my mother say...or actually write something like this.
I got out the leftover chicken and warmed it up.
Sitting down at the table I quickly started eating the delicious food as Su-Hyeok would come pick me up in about 7 minutes and I still had to brush my teeth.
After I finished eating and started brushing my teeth, I heard the doorbell ring.
Toothbrush in my mouth, I opened the door.
"Shince when are you sho earlshy?" I mumbled out, looking at Su-hyeok.
"Just wanted to try out something new" he laughed.
"I'll be ready in 2 minutsh"
The toothpaste was luckily not running down my chin.
Oh god, that would be even more embarrassing.
Thank you, toothpaste.
I ran into the bathroom to finish brushing my teeth.
Then I styled my hair a tiny bit, to maybe...impress Su-hyeok??
Oh wow, what am I thinking? He probably likes someone else anyways.
Whatever.
After I was done, I went back to him.
He was leaning onto the door frame, reading a few text messages.
"You ready?" I asked.
He got a bit startled from my voice as he looked up at me.
"Shouldn't I be asking you that?"
"Ha ha" I ironically 'laughed' as I put on a completely black sweatshirt jacket over my school uniform.
I pulled my bag onto my back and lightly pushed him out of the way before closing and locking the door to my family's apartment.
After bickering a bit more, the two of us started our way to school.

We both got onto school grounds just on time.
I could see On-jo being late and Cheong-san laughing about it.
They were really the perfect duo.
As we walked towards the school building, Su-hyeok nudged me.
"Look" He said as he pointed towards the group of bullies.
They were with a girl and a boy, making them follow.
I didn't like them at all.
Just a year ago, I was almost one of their victims, had Su-hyeok not stepped in at the right moment.
I was very thankful for that.
The bullies went into the bushes.
Wes both stopped.
"I have to step in" Su-hyeok said.
"..alright. I'll come with you" I told him.
He looked down at me.
"No, you don't have to." He told me while shaking his head.
"I want to, though." I sternly said, before going into the bushes myself, Su-hyeok right behind me.
We stopped in front of a building, that was still under construction.
Hearing voices, I stepped forward into the direction of the room.
Suddenly I felt a warm hand grab mine.
My face heated up immediately, as I knew it was Su-hyeok who was now holding my hand.
I looked into his dark eyes as he looked back into my e/c ones.
"You really don't have to come with me." He told me once again.
"I know, but I will and I want to stop them." I said and slowly pulled my hand from his.
For my defence, I only did this, since I had the feeling I was about to pass out.
Walking into the room, my heart fell into the bottom pit of my stomach.
The girl was sitting on the floor, topless, looking down in shame and sadness with her hands covering her chest area as the boy was forced to record her, which he obviously didn't want to.
"...you wanna die asshole?" I could hear one of the bullies say.
"That's enough" Su-hyeok stepped in.
"Stop"
Everyone turned to us and I immediately went to the girl, grabbing her blouse from the floor.
"Shit, son of a bitch" The leader let out while standing up.
I helped her put on her blouse while shielding her from the sight of the others.
She was crying and I felt my heart break.
This shouldn't be done to anyone.
Buttoning up her blouse, I hugged her instinctively.
"We're not playing around, you moron!" The leader shouted at.... I didn't know his name.
But he had a white shirt on.
And he was one of the bullies.
The leader slapped the white shirt guy's nape aggressively.
While holding the girl comfortingly, the guys turned to Su-hyeok.
"You used to party with us." The leader said.
"Don't act all holier-than-thou, you hear me?! Fuck off"
"And you" He turned to me.
"I should have hurt you before you knew him. You know, if he..."
He pointed to Su-Hyeok.
"...wasn't there that day. You would have been her"
He nodded his head towards the girl.
"You shithead" I mumbled.
"Hey" Su-hyeok said, making the leader turn back to him.
"You need to grow up"
The leader scoffed.
"Get outta here" Su-hyeok turned to the whimpering boy.
I helped the girl stand up and gave her the clothes on the floor.
"Go ahead. You might be safe." The leader told them.
Su-hyeok went over to me and the girl, pushing the guy in the white shirt out of the way.
I took the girl by her arm as he went to the boy.
We escorted them out of the room, the bullies still there.
"Go."
"You look really sexy in this. Should I send it to your mom?" White shirt guy said to the girl.
I turned to him.
"Shut up" I told him loudly.
"Why? Do you want me to call you sexy too, or what? You jealous?" He smirked "I would though, without you having to tell me to"
"No, I..." I was at a loss of words.
The audacity to say something as shitty as that made me boil inside of anger.
That stupid little....
"Just leave me and them alone" I yelled at him angrily.
As I was about to walk further with the others, the girl wouldn't move.
She was still crying.
"Come on, he won't do that" I tried to tell her, being unsure myself if this was really true.
"No" She quietly said.
Then she softly pulled her arm out of my grip.
"I can't go"
"It's okay. You can do it." Su-hyeok also tried calming her.
She sobbed and shook her head.
"It's not okay. Because if I leave now, it'll be worse tomorrow."
She went back to the bullies, leaving me standing there, surprised by her actions.
But it wasn't a 'happy surprised'.
Then the other guy turned around as well.
I looked at them sadly, a bit disappointed even, before running out and to the school, tears filling my eyes.
"Y/n!" I could hear Su-hyeok shout after me.
When I got out of the bushes, I exhaled and pressed my hands to my face.
Su-hyeok came out a few seconds after me.
"Are you okay?" He softly asked, bending down to my height.
My eyes weren't filled with tears anymore, but I didn't like the feeling I had right now.
"I just...I don't know what to do, we couldn't do anything to help those two" I panicked.
"Hey, we did what we could. You just can't get away from them once they have really started" he told me before pulling me into a hug.
I wrapped my arms around him, feeling a bit better.
In the corner of my eye I could see I-sak and Gyeong-su smiling at me and whispering about me and Su-hyeok.
After the hug, I was looking into the beautiful eyes of Su-hyeok.
After a moment though, we both broke the eye contact, looking into different directions and I got flustered.
Then we walked into the school to get to our classroom.
On the stairs, I grabbed his arm to stop him.
"What?" He asked.
"Just...I...nothing, never mind"
What was I thinking?
Why did I really stop him?
I think I was just about to confess.
Oh god no.
"No, tell me."
"Well..."
Come on, Y/n. Think!
Thinkthinkthinkthink.
Got it.
Thank you, brain.
"Just maybe... like.. do you wanna eat lunch with me today?"
It's the most normal thing I could think of at the moment.
Friends eat lunch together, right?
"Oh...sure" He smiled.
Then we went up the stairs, down the hallway and entered the classroom.
The guys were talking and I could see I-sak and On-jo sitting in their seats.
I was sitting not so far from them, beside our class president, Nam-ra.
She sometimes talked to me, but according to the fact that she even did this, everyone said that she had to see me as a friend.
She was pretty cool, so I was okay with my seat.
I made my way to my seat and put down my bag before walking over to I-sak an On-jo.
They looked like they were talking about something.
"Hey, what's up?" I asked them.
"I don't know...What do I do?" On-jo said.
"Wait. What? Why?" Me and I-sak asked her.
"I don't know" She repeated herself.
"I'm gonna tell you two later."
"Tell us what?" I-sak asked.
"Huh?" I also asked.
Then Cheong-san walked into class.
This made On-jo sit up straighter, before she stood up and gave him his bag, that she had had to carry.
After this she sat back down and just started looking at him.
I chuckled and went back to my seat.
Su-hyeok was talking to his friends and reached into his pocket.
"Wait, where's my phone?" He suddenly asked frantically.
I laughed.
"Here, you dumbass. You lost it on our way to school. Took you long enough to notice" I smirked and went over to him.
I held it out to him and he grabbed it while looking into my eyes.
"Well...thanks" He said shortly before turning away.
Then, as I was about to go back to my seat, Na-yeon entered the classroom.
Oh no.
I already thought to myself.
"Hey!" She yelled.
Then she started making a big deal about Gyeong-su sitting on her desk.
Everyone was pretty annoyed by her.
Suddenly the door opened and our teacher, Ms. Park entered the classroom.
So, this was chapter 2

Also, for those who haven't noticed, I will change the fact that On-jo likes Su-hyeok, cause I don't want her to be hurt in this story, so she will have a crush on her best friend Cheong-san, who has a crush on her.
