Alone at the beach
A figure passed, within eye reach
'Twas a lady with a brown hair
Her gait could make a blind man stare
Alone at the library
I was reminded of she
By a book I found on the shelf
'Twas a book about a pretty elf
Alone at the motor park
Whilst it was rigidly dark
I saw a glittering star
And then returned memory's scar
Alone on my bed
Thoughts of her encircled my head
Sleep was miles and miles away
For hours unending there I lay
A solitary daydreamer
I am- a helpless prisoner
Of love, bound with a strong twine
Dear me! Love is as strong as wine
