Once I gained a sense of freedom

Warming me up
from above
Shielded me from hidden heathens
Gave me time, to rise above hate
Take in the blessings, aim to thrive.
I couldn't go back to an empty hive.
Where, fruitful dreams tried to flourish
Disregarded, then discouraged
Bones and stories, under covers.
I, kept my mind well nourished.
I, Opened my eyes to all the knowledge.
To live the dream, to enjoy the scene.
There was never a need to hurry.
I let go, of all the worry.
