This is the only one right now I can muster some motivation to do...
~⛰Slid Down a Hill⛰~
It was a partly-cloudy day outside in the snow-covered woodland.
Red Velvet was outside in the forest on his own free time.
The forest was on a hill, making the view of the trees below him more enjoyable.
He had chosen to go outside since it was nice enough to, and because he seeked some time away from the Tower of Sweet Chaos.
Red Velvet wanted some time alone.
Recently, a lot was on his mind.
Dark Choco had left Dark Enchantress's league.
Red Velvet was friends with Dark Choco... More than friends.
It was difficult for Red Velvet to admit to himself that the two of them were too friendly to each other to be just friends, and Dark Choco knew that.
Some could say that they were lovers.
Red Velvet wanted to keep his mind off of all of it, though.
That's why he chose to walk in a snow-covered part of the woodland.
The cold and the sound of snow crunching under his boots would keep himself from thinking about him.
As he walked on the snow-covered ground, he slipped on ice.
Red Velvet couldn't help but screech.
He tumbled off the edge of the hill, rolling on the ground.
Red Velvet quickly realized he couldn't stop himself from rolling down the hill.
He was getting sticks, stones, and snow in his hair as he fell.
Red Velvet couldn't help but at least try to stop himself.
He kicked out his legs to slow down, but it only made the speed of him falling worse!
Red Velvet suddenly felt something halt him, though.
He glanced up at whatever had stopped him, shaking the hair out of his eyes.
Dark Choco had managed to catch him, stopping him from falling all the way down the hill.
"Hello, Red Velvet cookie." Dark Choco greeted.
"Ah, hello. I did not expect you to be here, of all places." Red Velvet said.
"Yet, I was. It seems to me that you have grown more clumsy than before." Dark Choco commented.
"Nonsense! I have not in the slightest," Red Velvet said, "in fact, you're the clumsy one."
That prompted Dark Choco to drop Red Velvet into the soft snow that he stood on.
Red Velvet yelped dramatically.
Dark Choco rolled his eyes.
"How rude." Red Velvet huffed in small annoyance.
Red Velvet got up quickly.
Dark Choco was looking at him.
"What are you doing out here anyway?" Red Velvet asked.
"Most likely the same reason that you're out here." Dark Choco replied.
"I came out here for some fresh air. I thought that you would move as far away from her as possible." Red Velvet said.
"Well, are you at least happy to see me?" Dark Choco asked.
Red Velvet sighed.
"Of course I am. Although, due to your betrayal, Dark Enchantress has said that it is on sight if we ever see you again on her land." Red Velvet said.
"What a shame that you will kill me..." Dark Choco said.
"No, Dark Choco, that's not what I meant!" Red Velvet said.
"Oh? Will you rebel against your mother's orders?" Dark Choco teased.
"No, no... I can't, but..." Red Velvet became flustered quickly.
"What are you going to do, then?" Dark Choco asked.
Red Velvet froze for a moment.
He thought, and then had an idea.
"We can simply just leave this territory. I won't be violating her orders if we are off the territory." Red Velvet said.
"Good idea. Let's go." Dark Choco said.
"Did you set up camp somewhere?" Red Velvet asked.
"Of course. I will bring you there." Dark Choco replied.
The two of them began to make their way through the frosted woodland.
Red Velvet was following Dark Choco through the forest.
Soon enough, when they had gotten to the edge of the territory, Red Velvet was able to see where Dark Choco had set up camp.
Red Velvet sighed as they came to a halt.
"Did you intentionally set up camp close to her land to spite her?" Red Velvet asked.
"Yes, I did," Dark Choco smirked at Red Velvet.
"My, my, since when have you grown to be so spiteful?" Red Velvet asked, almost in a rebuking manner.
Dark Choco swiped a twig from his hair, suddenly.
"Unsure, but when did you grow so careless about your hair?" Dark Choco teased him.
"I had just fallen from a hill at least twenty minutes ago!" Red Velvet defended.
"That's fair enough." Dark Choco said.
Red Velvet stood there for a moment, trying to get all the twigs and small pebbles from his hair.
The snow had melted in his hair, so he couldn't do anything about it.
"There... Is at least most of it out?" Red Velvet asked.
Dark Choco nodded.
The two of them stood there for a moment.
Red Velvet was observing Dark Choco, almost admiring him.
"Are you going to just stare at me, or are we going to enter the tent I made?" Dark Choco asked, snapping Red Velvet out of it.
"Ah, of course. I was getting cold anyway." Red Velvet nodded quickly.
The two of them entered the tent together.
The tent was rather small, but still warmer than the outside.
Red Velvet and Dark Choco sat next to each other.
Dark Choco placed his hand next to Red Velvet's.
Red Velvet held his hand.
It was quiet between them for a moment.
Dark Choco smiled to himself.
Red Velvet noticed.
"Hm? Why are you smiling?" Red Velvet asked.
"You are holding my hand. I am enjoying it." Dark Choco said.
Red Velvet noticed that he was... yet he didn't take his hand away.
"It is peaceful... I am happy that you are with me here, even if we are separated by life." Dark Choco said to Red Velvet.
"I... I agree." Red Velvet nodded.
Dark Choco moved closer to him.
Red Velvet caught himself blushing at this movement.
"Ah... I have a question...." Red Velvet murmured.
"Hm? What is it?" Dark Choco asked.
Red Velvet looked him in the eye.
"Could you say that we are... more than friends?" Red Velvet asked.
"I most definitely could, if that is comfortable with you." Dark Choco said.
"No, do you believe we are... more than friends?" Red Velvet asked.
Dark Choco nodded.
"Is this your way of asking me to be your boyfriend?" Dark Choco asked.
"Well, yes, but I don't want to lose you as an ally." Red Velvet nodded.
More blush crept on Red Velvet's face.
He was growing flustered.
Dark Choco warmly smiled at him.
"I do wish to be your boyfriend." Dark Choco said.
"Ah, I am relieved..." Red Velvet started, but was cut off.
Dark Choco had cupped his hands around Red Velvet's face.
Red Velvet blushed heavily.
His legs shifted with this sudden electrifying feeling that had pulsed through him.
Red Velvet felt a mixture of happiness and pleasure.
Dark Choco smiled at him again.
"I... I do not wish to rush this relationship... We should be easy on each other." Red Velvet said.
"No teasing?" Dark Choco asked innocently.
"Did you really thing I would give that up?" Red Velvet asked.
"No dogboy, of course not...." Dark Choco teased him.
"Oh, be quiet!" Red Velvet blurted.
Dark Choco laughed at his reaction.
Red Velvet rolled his eyes.
The two of them were enjoying each other's company throughout the day.
Soon enough, Red Velvet had to leave, though.
Red Velvet and Dark Choco left the tent.
It had been four hours since Red Velvet had left the Tower.
Red Velvet felt those four hours were the best hours of his life.
Red Velvet walked onto the territory of Dark Enchantress.
Dark Choco had gotten a sudden impulse.
Dark Choco rushed over to Red Velvet and pecked him on the cheek before going back on the other side.
"Bye, Red Velvet." Dark Choco waved to him.
Red Velvet could just wave to him goodbye.
He had suddenly become flustered by Dark Choco's sudden action on him.
Red Velvet left for the Tower, his mind on Dark Choco.
The two were officially dating.
