Dream put on a lime green hoodie with a dark brown strap going over it, he put on his boots and fingerless gloves as he searched the room for his mask.
The blonde man groaned as he paced around for it, he went through ever drawer and closet.
He went down onto his knees as he peered under the bed, he dug his hand under the bed and felt around for the mask until he found a piece of paper crumpled up.
Dream furrowed his brows as he sat down cross legged and pulled the piece of paper out and uncrumpled it.
He looked at the coffee coloured paper and realised it was the poem he took out of Y/n's old poetry book.
He relaxed and sighed then folded the paper up and put it into his pocket, and continued to search for his mask.
Once he found it he heard the door slam open making him panic and quickly put on his mask and stand up.
''Dream, DreamXD is waiting for you outside.''
Dream nodded as he walked past George downstairs and towards the door with George behind him.
He stopped once he seen Y/n and DreamXD talking at the table, with Y/n drinking a cup of tea.
Y/n laughed and looked at DreamXD who seemed to stop conversation quickly and looked behind Y/n.
Dream held onto the back of Y/n's chair making her look up at him, he looked down at her and smirked then turned back to DreamXD.
''DreamXD, a word in private?''
The god nodded as he stood up and looked over at the girl who was watching the two.
Dream walked towards Sapnap's old bedroom with the god following behind him.
George sat down beside the girl quietly and looked into the cup of tea Y/n was drinking.
''What is that?''
''It's a special tea DreamXD gave me-''
George widened his eyes then swiped the cup off the table making it smash as it hit the ground and the tea spilt everywhere.
''What the fuck?!'' Y/n yelled as she looked at George.
''Never, ever, accept any gifts or deals from a god.''
''She did what?!'' Dream yelled as he faced DreamXD who was sitting cross legged in the air.
''I offered her freedom, and she accepted. So I have her soul.'' DreamXD pulled out a necklace with a locket on it.
Dream stared at the locket in disbelief and stared up at DreamXD who looked unaffected.
''Dream when somebody wants freedom, they'll do anything to get it. Freedom is a special thing humans require.''
Dream dug his hands into his hair as he paced around the room, DreamXD watched and put away the locket.
''W-What can I do to get her back? How can I get her soul?''
''Dream you're a powerful man, why would you do anything for that girl? You're not supposed to get any attachments..remember?''
Dream looked away in shame and cleared his throat. ''I'm using her, that's why I need her soul back.''
DreamXD raised a brow and stood up properly, he walked towards the masked man.
''Alright, break her then. You will get her soul back but she will not be the same person, once I give you her soul I want you to break her. I mean it Dream, or else I'll kill her and take your soul instead.''
Dream stared at the god and nodded slowly.
''Then it's set, you will ruin her at the ball tonight.''
DreamXD disappeared and Dream looked down, regretting his decisions.
He left the room to see Y/n and George talking comfortably at the table, he watched Y/n laugh at George's jokes and he smiled softly.
Dream took a shaky breath and sat down next to George and Y/N.
They all began to joke and talk, Y/n truly felt happy for the first time since L'Manburg and her husband.
''What time is it? Fuck I have to get ready-'' Y/n got up until Dream put his hand on her shoulder and sat her back down.
''Y/n it begins at 8, it's only 6.''
''But I have to do my makeup and my hair, there's so much to do!'' Y/n got back up and ran up to her room.
George ate a slice of cake and Dream looked at him weirdly. ''Where'd you get that?''
''Me and Y/n were baking while you had your conversation with DreamXD..so what's gonna happen now?''
Dream sighed as he leaned back on his chair, George watched him and continued to eat the sweet berry cake.
''He took her soul for freedom, she requested that. I have her soul back here but I don't know if I should give it to her, I mean she's getting better slowly.''
''Dream just because she joked and talked with us for over an hour doesn't mean she's getting better, I hear her sneaking out at night to make potions.''
''Yeah and she's not taking the weakness potions..'' Dream sat up and leaned his face on one hand.
''Her soul is returned anyways Dream, there's nothing else we can do.''
''I have to hurt her, DreamXD requested that as the trade. If I don't do so he'll take my soul and kill Y/N.''
George slightly widened his eyes and stopped eating, he put the fork down and cleared his throat.
''Oh Dream, what did you get yourself into.''
Y/n sat up in her room at her beautiful vanity, doing her makeup and hair.
She styled her hair by curling it and letting it loose.
Y/n wore her wedding ring that was cleaner than before then she heard a knock at the door which made her turn around.
Dream walked in wearing a black button up shirt with a green tie hanging around his neck, he had long black bottoms with shiny black shoes.
''Hey.'' He said softly as he walked towards her.
''Hi..''
He was still wearing a mask and he wasn't covering his hair, his hair was dirty blonde and fluffy which was styled nicely.
''I um got you this..'' Dream pulled out a an emerald pendant necklace with a golden chain.
Y/n widened her eyes as she stared down at the expensive necklace the masked man was holding.
''Oh my gosh Dream..'' Y/n looked at it in disbelief.
Emeralds were hard to get unless you trade for them or search for them in deep dark caves.
''May I?..''
Y/n nodded as she turned around and moved her hair onto her shoulder, Dream put the necklace onto her and rested his hands on her shoulders.
Y/n touched the necklace and looked at herself in the mirror with Dream behind admiring her.
''We're leaving in an hour, meet us downstairs.'' Dream slid his hand across her back as he left the room.
Y/n sat lifted the robe up to attach a holster onto her thigh, she put a knife and a few small potions onto it.
She finished putting on makeup and began to make more potions.
''I know, I'll kill him tonight.'' Y/n smiled as she hid the potions.
''Where is she? Y/n!'' Dream leaned against the doorway wearing a full black suit with a green tie.
George stood beside him holding a vintage pocket clock that told the time to be 8.
''Coming!'' A voice was heard from the stop of the stairs.
George put the pocket clock away and looked around while waiting for the h/c, he was wearing a blue suit with his black and white goggles sitting on top of his head.
The two men looked up once they heard heels walking down the steps.
Y/n was wearing a big f/c ballgown with off shoulder sleeves and flower designs all over the dress.
Dream stared in awe as the girl walked down the steps as she held her dress not to trip over it.
George smiled proudly as Y/n came beside them, Dream scanned her body up and down which made Y/n clear her throat.
''So um..we leaving?..''
''Yeah, come on.''
Y/n held onto George's arm as she lifted up her dress and walked towards the door.
Once they got outside, there was two dark brown horses attached to a lead waiting outside.
Y/n's jaw dropped as she looked up at Dream who jumped onto one of the horses with shiny diamond armour.
Dream put his hand out to the h/c which she reluctantly took and hopped on behind him, she wrapped her arms around his stomach as she readjusted herself.
She turned around to see George ontop of a horse behind them with iron armour.
''Hold on princess.''
''You should stop calling me that.''
Dream smirked as he kicked the horse lightly to get it going, he purposely made the horse go faster which made Y/n hold onto him tighter.
George caught up with them on his horse beside them, Dream looked over at George and nodded.
The two began to race against each other while Y/n watched and was amused.
Suddenly the horses began to slow down and Y/n looked up to see a big white castle.
Dream and George hopped off the horses and Dream put his hand out for the h/c girl again.
Y/n took it and jumped off the horse, she linked her arm up with Dream and George as they walked up the long steps towards the castle.
''Whose ball is this anyways?''
''A friend of mine.''
They all got to the top and walked into the castle where there was a big ballroom full of people dancing in ballgowns and suits.
Y/n gasped and looked around, the inside was more elegant than the outside and more royal.
There was famous paintings hung around the room and crystal chandeliers hanging above.
The floor was marbled and shiny while the roof had art designs that were old.
There was grand staircases and golden lamps lit all around making the colour of the room to be warm.
Everybody had big ballgown dresses with expensive jewellery along with crisp suits.
Dream nudged her which made her snap back from admiring the castle.
''Come on, we have to greet the king and queen.''
They all walked down the steps and towards the front of the ballroom where there was a huge line of elegant people standing.
''What is this place..''
''It's a good bit away from the dream smp, this part of the land is very rich and elegant. My family friend invited us here, we come every year.''
''Shouldn't Sapnap be here then?''
''He declined the invitation.''
Y/n widened her eyes as she looked at the two men on either side of her, looking serious and emotionless.
Soon it was the trio's turn to greet the king and queen, Dream went first and knelt down on one knee as he kissed the queen and king's hand.
''Dream, what a pleasure it is to see you again.'' The queen said in her soft spoken voice.
Y/n stared at her in awe, the queen was wearing a big silver shining ballgown with elegant designs all over it.
She was wearing a big silver crown with silver jewellery all around her, she had no wrinkles and green eyes with blonde long hair.
The king was wearing a dark red suit with a golden crown sitting ontop of his head, he had brown hair with a trimmed brown beard and blue eyes.
Dream stood up and Y/n watched the king and queen hug the masked man.
They pulled away and George began to greet them the same way Dream did.
''George, you look better than ever, so good to see you as well.''
George and Dream both bowed to the royals and began to talk to them.
The queen peered over George's shoulder to see Y/n standing behind him.
''Whose this?''
The three men turned around to look at Y/n who was awkwardly standing there.
''This is Y/n, she's a good friend.''
''Y/n..interesting.''
Y/n cleared her throat as she curtsied to the king and queen who was watching her with interest.
''It's a pleasure to meet you.'' Y/n said as she smiled softly at the two.
''You're a very beautiful young lady I must say, pity, you and Dream would've looked good together.''
Y/n stared at the king with Dream and George snickered in the back slightly.
''You must meet our daughter, Dream we're arranging a marriage between the two of you. Aurora!''
Suddenly a young woman came out from the crowd with long black hair and blue eyes with fair skin.
''Yes mother?''
