Hello it's been awhile however I'm here with an update!
Twisted wonderland's English release has come out in case you didn't know (I got it around two days ago) and I wanna talk about it for a moment
First there's a couple translation errors that's to be expected in the savanna claw chapter when you to to visit Trey after he fell down the stairs and he explains how he got hurt he says gotall which is just got all without a space not sure if it's meant to be like that but it's a bit odd when you see it
Next Leona calls Jack frosh and in Aces ceremonial robe story he also says frosh when referring to him and Epel I think it's meant to be like freshman or something but again not sure if it's meant to be like that or not
Second some character nitpicks (mostly Cater) they "ruined" Ruggies laugh they made it Shyehehe or something and it bothers me
Ace has like a dude bro sorta vibe not like I expected anything different but still
They made Cater like one of those stereotypical bratty white girls that's obsessed with posting on social media which is sorta true but still he literally says "liked and subscribed" "#lame" (he says a lot of things with # actually) and "unsubscribed" but I also feel like they made him a bit more mean than I remember? Idk I feel like he's a little meaner and he sorta lost the fun-loving older brother vibes I got from him but it's alright
And Leona still calls us herbivores not a nitpick but it upsets me because we're omnivores and I know it's supposed to be Leona making fun of the MC but still
Grimm is called a weasel in English instead of a tanuki or raccoon and I think that's funny
Third they changed the names of somethings and it bothers me but I can't remember what they were called originally so anyway the magic stones on their pens is called a magestone they changed the names of some locations like where Ace is from he calls it something like the Queensland of roses or whatever I don't really remember
They call the dorm leaders house wardens which is a little weird sounding but it's still the same thing
And the one that bothers me the most is that magical shift is now spell drive and it just sounds odd to me
That's about it I'm having a lot of fun playing I'm already almost done with the savanna claw chapter however I haven't watched a translation video of twisted wonderland in quite some time so I only know what happens up to right after Vil's overblot so I wanna catch up with the videos but anyway hope you guys are doing good and have fun playing!
