That's all I can ever say to you.
And while there may be a lot of things I could tell you— like how I've appreciated your company over these few months or how your smiles never failed to brighten up my day...
Or how I've fallen in love with you in every way a person could and can— I've settled for the words above.
My heart, I now realise, beats for you. I moved forward to see you each morning and listen to whatever you wanted to ramble on about until twilight struck forward.
Because of all of that, because of your kindness, your generosity, your time and patience, I know what I must do.
I will fight. Just as you encouraged me to do so. Fight to live. Fight for my freedom.
