SASUKE
Naruto banged on the door so loudly that Sasuke had no choice but to wake up.
''What the hell do you want, dobe?!'' Ravenette yelled as he opened the door.
Naruto gulped at seeing Sasuke in a bad mood. ''K-Kakashi-sensei w-wanted to see you!''
Sasuke groaned. ''Where is he?''
''D-downstairs.'' He stuttered.
Sasuke groaned again. ''Go. I'll be down in five.'' He said and slammed the door.
Once Sasuke got ready, he went downstairs.
"What do you want, Kakashi?" He demanded.
"Good morning to you too, Sasuke." Kakashi said and Sasuke glared at him. "I just have somethings to tell you."
"Speak." Sasuke said firmly and sat on the chair.
"You have to make Sakura agree to stay in the camp, not just for few days but a little longer."
Sasuke looked at him confusedly. "Why me? And why do you want her to stay?"
"First, you seem close to her and you would be able to get her to agree. And second, she has to stay because of confidential reasons." Silver haired man said matter-of-factly.
"What confidential reasons, Kakashi? And she's much closer with Yamanaka. She can do that."
"Reasons are not meant for you to know. Just try it. Ino tried and she still doesn't want to stay."
"Can I try?" Naruto interjected.
"Yes, if Sasuke fails."
"No. I'm not going to do that. It's pointless and I don't care if she stays or not." Sasuke stood up to leave but Kakashi stopped him.
"Sasuke, she saved your life. Only thing we can do is to keep her safe here."
Sasuke had no other choice but to agree.
"Oh, and don't go outside the camp. Danzo thinks you're dead." Kakashi added before quickly disappearing.
"What?!" Sasuke shouted but he was already gone.
"Teme, what do you think, why doesn't Sakura-chan want to stay here?" Naruto asked his already irritated best friend.
"How the hell am I supposed to know that?!" Sasuke shot him famous Uchiha glare and went in the kitchen.
He took a bite of tomato when Naruto asked again. "Have you seen her in Konoha before? She seems so familiar, I can't pinpoint it."
Sasuke actually thought for a moment. He hasn't seen her before but he did hear something about a pink haired girl but like Naruto, he couldn't pinpoint it.
"No." He simply said and took another bite of tomato.
"I have to ask old man about that, I'm sure I know her." Naruto continued to blabber but Sasuke zoned out.
His mind started wondering about certain pinkette and he didn't like it. Not even a bit.
Yes, she saved his life and yes, he will do what Kakashi said but he seriously doubts anyone would get her to agree. She seemed pretty persistent on staying at her cottage and if it wasn't for making the antidote she wouldn't come here.
Sasuke dismissed his thoughts as he finished eating and left to find this pink haired vampire.
Not to long, he noticed Sakura and Ino walking in the hospital cabin. He went there too. Red haired girl, whome he knew was Sumiye a nurse, waved her hand at the two girls and smiled.
Sasuke decided it wasn't time to talk as Sakura would be busy, working on antidote, so he left.
Uchiha was walking towards the training grounds when another familiar redhead approached her and immediately clinged on his shoulder.
"Sasuke-kun! Good morning!" She said with a smile but Sasuke remained with his stoic expression.
"Leave me alone, Karin." He simply said and tried to get away from her grasp.
"But Sasuke-kun I just came! Don't you want to spend some time with me?" Karin pouted.
"I have to train."
"But you're always training!" Karin continued to complain.
Sasuke grew more and more irritated. "Hn. Go away." He said again and Karin finally gave up and left. Sasuke jogged before Karin could change her mind.
When he stepped on training grounds, he focused his thoughts on training, instead of a certain girl.
SAKURA
The pinkette walked with Ino in the hospital cabin and greeted Sumiye who was smiling at them.
"I got the herbs that you wanted." Sumiye told Sakura and nodded.
"Thanks. We'll need that." Sakura opened her medical book and started searching for the right page.
Ino walked closer and noticed a handwriting on the top of the book's cover.
"Sakura, how do you have this book?" The blonde girl questioned.
Haruno quickly realised what Ino meant and tried to change the subject. "An old librarian gifted me. Where are the liquids we sorted yesterday?"
"Oh, I've got it!" Sumiye gave her the test tubes where liquids were.
After they finished sorting another set of liquids, Sakura poured all the important ones in a beaker and added some of the herbs that Sumiye gave her. Then, she swirled it with a glass rod.
"I think it's ready." Sakura announced and poured some of the liquid in a glass bottle. "It just needs to be charmed to work on vampires."
The pinkette glanced at Ino. "Is your witch friend back?"
Ino shook her head. "Yes, she'll be here in fifteen minutes."
"Before that, let's take a break." The girls all left the hospital cabin. Ino and Sumiye went to grab a lunch, while Sakura decided to take a walk.
Now that antidote's finished, I can go back home. She thought.
Her mind pondered about this camp and the people that were here.
Lord Third, someone close to her family, now leading supernatural beings. Sakura wondered which one he was. A vampire? A werewolf? Or a witch?
Actually, she wondered who this people were, aside from being citizens of Konoha.
Ino, heiress of Yamanka clan was a vampire, she told her that she and Shikamaru drank vampire blood in every two days because their parents told them so. Once, they were on a meeting with important people along with their fathers when some people attacked them. That's how they became vampires.
When Danzo heard about this, he sent his hunters after them and both heirs were forced to leave. Their parents sent them in this camp.
Ino also said that her mother went along with them and she lives here now. Her father sometimes comes to visit and he also sends new supernatural beings from Konoha. Shikamaru's parents visit too but rarely because Danzo has his hunters spying on them and also they're trying protect people from him.
Kakashi Hatake, man who opened the door and invited them inside Third Hokage's house turns out to be a vampie. A spy, to be exact. He occasionally visits Konoha in order to get information about Danzo and his troops.
Naruto Uzumaki, Kiba Inuzuka, Choji Akimichi, Suigetsu Hozuki, Shino Aburame and Sumiye Sato were all those people that welcomed here in this camp with friendly aura.
And Sasuke Uchiha. A guy who Sakura saved. He brought her here but she hasn't seen him since then. Pinkette felt a little upset because he hasn't talked to her after that but she tried to push those feelings and thoughts away.
She'll still be leaving tomorrow. No point in talking.
Sakura was so deep in thoughts she didn't even notice familiar raven haired figure coming towards her.
"Sakura?" She flinched when she heard her name.
"Oh, Sasuke! I didn't even notice, when did you come here?" Sakura smiled sheepishly.
"Hn, I just came." He simply answered and Sakura blushed from embarrassment.
"Did you want something?" Pinkette questioned when she regained normal expression.
Sasuke scratched the back of his neck. "I wanted to talk." He said and Sakura's heart skipped the beat.
Why would he want to talk? I've been here for two days now and he hasn't come to talk before!
"Okay, what do you want to talk about?" It seemed like Sasuke avoided his gaze.
"About camp. What do think of it?" Ravenette asked, with his stoic expression back on his face.
"Oh, that. I like it, but I'm leaving tomorrow." Sakura answered, a little disappointed.
"Why? You said you like it."
"That doesn't mean I want to stay for too long. Ino's witch friend will be coming in few minutes, she'll charm the antidote and that's it." Sakura tried to end the conversation. Her disappointment made her loose all the interest in conversation.
"Hn, alright then." He said and left her alone.
What was that for? He's so complicated! Instead of standing there like a tree, she went back in the cabin where Sumiye was.
"Ino's bringing her friend." She answered and Sakura nodded.
After few minutes Ino arrived with midnight blue haired girl whome had beautiful lavender eyes.
"Lady Hinata," Sumiye greeted the girl with a bow and Hinata stopped her.
"Please Sumiye, drop the formalities." She spoke. Her voice calm and soothing. Sakura has seen people with the same eyes as her before so it wasn't hard for her to recognise a Hyuga. No wonder Sumiye was so formal, Hyuga's are one of the elite clans of Konoha.
The girl identified as Hinata turned to Sakura and smiled at her. "You must be Sakura. Thank you for saving my friends." She said sweatly.
Sakura smiled back. "Nice to meet you." She said and they shook their hands.
"Hinata's one of the strongest witches!" Ino exclaimed when they turned to work.
"That's wonderful!" Sakura clasped her hands and then gave Hinata glass bottle and a piece of paper. "Here's the spell for it."
Hinata nodded and started her work. In few minutes it was done.
Sakura took a look at the bottle and noticed something sparkling and she was sure the antidote was ready. She gave Hinata the rest of it too.
Once they finished, they hang out for a little longer and Sakura discovered that Naruto and Hinata were dating. She also met their other friend, Tenten whome was dating Hinata's cousin, Neji. She met almost all of their friends and enjoyed their company.
Sakura was walking back towards Ino's apartment when she noticed Naruto, holding some boxes. She offered to help and despite Naruto's declines, she still took the box and helped him to carry it to the main house.
"So, you're really leaving tomorrow?" Naruto asked when they finished their task.
Sakura sighed. "Yeah. The antidote is finished and I'm going back home."
Naruto frowned. "But you're gonna be alone there!"
"I've been alone for quite a time. I can manage." She said with a small smile.
"Oh, c'mone Sakura-chan! Stay here! You're gonna have so much fun! You know all of our friends, we hang out all the time and we also get missions too! You're from Konoha too, you're supernatural, you're an amazing person Sakura-chan and you're one of us!" Naruto's little speech almost made Sakura burst in tears. Her heart filled with warmth.
She has been alone for so long, and she wasn't lying when she said she liked this place.
Staying here would be nice. She thought. Sakura remembered how much fun she had with this people and here she could continue her work as a doctor and not be alone.
I'll stay here.
"I think I'll stay here." Sakura answered truthfully with warm smile and Naruro made cry of joy.
