➤ SWAYING AROUND, Twirling across the kitchen and humming the song Family Madrigal under your breath, as you threw the ingredients inside of the boiling pot. Grabbing a wooden spoon from the drawer, you began mixing the ingredients all up inside of the pot
While your other hand was busy flipping all the Arepa con queso, the aroma of your foods went through your nostril making you sigh delightfully after smelling the delicious delicacies
Reaching your hand towards the small towel and grabbing it. you used it to dry your hands "Welcome to the family Madrigal" You murmured the lyrics while putting a pinch of seasonings inside of the pot.
After a few hours or so, you finally turned off the stove "Viento can you please place this on the table?" You ask the spirit besides, giving you one nod. Viento immediately twirled around the pot as they carry it on towards the dining room
Looking back at the counter to clean a few things, grabbing all the utensils and many more that you used for cooking, you placed them on the sink.
Turning around, you suddenly got greeted by lips colliding with yours. Pushing you gently backward Camilo tilts your head and deepens the kiss furthermore.
Fluttering your eyes close, wrapping your arms around his neck, bringing him closer, and enjoying feeling the warmth of his lips pressing against yours
Both of you hum pleasurable into the kiss, finally parting away and making a soft smacking sound. "Hello there love" he softly whispered, looking at you with adorning eyes
Giggling softly you slightly push the man away from you "What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be helping with the decorations for Luna's ceremony?" You question, arching an eyebrow at your husband
Camilo planted another kiss on your lips before answering "Don't worry too much about the decorations, Daniel along with the robotics he invented can decorate this whole house" he shrugs.
"Daniel is there to help for Luna's ceremony, there is nothing to worry about" he adds. Giving you another smack on the lips again and slyly grins at you "Besides I miss you, can't I see my wife just for a few seconds?"
Sighing at his antics, you stare at him unamused. "Camilo" Sternly saying his name, with your eyes narrowed at him. Camilo let out a 'hm' tilting his head as he smiles at you. Not really bothered by your glare
"Yes, my love?"
"Go back and help with the decoration, you shouldn't be letting your son do all the work" you scoff, turning away from him with crossed arms. Camilo hand crawl up to your shoulder and rested his chin on the top of your head, wrapping his arms around as he tightly hugs you
"I'm not amor, His cousins are there to assist him, and let's not forget the people in Encanto is also helping" He reminds you,
Snapping your head at him, your glare didn't falter away "Camilo Madrigal I-"
"Give me a kiss" Camilo suddenly blurted out, his eyes flickering to your lips for a brief moment. Now that came out of the blue, you didn't know whether you should giggle or be mad at him for not taking you seriously, Camilo starts to fake pout at you. Giving you one of his puppy eyes that you always hated as he leaned his face closer "Come on now, relax for a bit okay? Now kiss me"
You rolled your eyes at your husband, as you attempt to pull back away from him. But- he follows as he walks closer to you. Making you stumble back until you couldn't go back any further. The back of your waist collided with the counter as you rested your hands on the edges of it.
His lips brush against yours, his eyes look at you desperately and eyebrows furrowed, soon after his hands went towards your jaw "I notice you've been fidgety lately Mi Vida" Camilo pointed out, glancing at the candle, the fire on the candle was blazing hot as the candle rapidly melts
You averted your away, looking at something else as a sigh soon escapes from you "I'm just worried for Luna"
Camilo raised an eyebrow "What do you mean? Luna is perfectly fine" shaking your head you let another sigh "Luna always thought she would be special if she has a gift like her siblings, she can't see that she's already special. She just too hung up on getting a gift, But what if- she doesn't get a gift, I don't wanna see the disappointment and sadness on her eyes-" Your words got suddenly cut off by Camilo's finger placing on your lips
"I know you are worried for our daughter. But you need to believe in her, Luna would receive her gift tonight and she would be happy" Camilo uplifted, sending a reassuring smile to his wife "if she doesn't, then we just have to show that she doesn't need to have a gift to be special because she is already is"
"I believe in her. I just-" Camilo tilted your chin, leaning down and pressing his lips to your lips. His hand traveled back to your neck, pushing you closer as it deepened the kiss even more and slightly bit your lips
Camilo kisses you gently, softly, and comforting. All the worries you've been feeling for the past couple of days evaporated easily under his touch. Melting into the kiss, an inch of your body dissolves into his. as your fingers grip his curly lock, pulling him closer, Camilo groaned softly low in his throat.
Then his arms hook up under your legs, lifting you up and gently placing you on the counter. His arms soon circled your waist, soon ending up being tangled up together, Still kissing.
Sadly, before you, both can kiss even furthermore. Someone voice came booming inside of the kitchen "Mami, Papi" it's the twins. "Stop being touchy we don't want another sibling" Marco scoffs before heading inside as his twin brother followed behind him
Camilo finally pulls away and smiled at his two sons as if they didn't get caught having a make-out session inside the kitchen, while you hop off the counter and continue to clean the whole kitchen.
Both twins mindlessly threw their school bag at the table, Marcus soon sat on the chair rested his elbow on the wooden table, and placed his chin on his palm. Meanwhile, Manuel was looking for a particular jar that is filled with arepa con queso.
After he found the jar, he went forward to the table as he pulled out a chair and sat right next to his twin. He then pulled out the lid "want one?" He asks. Offering an arepa at Marco, without hesitating Marco instantly accepted it and muttered a thank you. As the twins began enjoying eating their favorite food
Camilo subconsciously licks his lips, also wanting to eat an arepa con queso. He reaches out his hand for the jar, but only got his hand slapped away by the twins.
The Madrigal twins glared at their father and wrapped their arms around the jar protectively as If their life depends on it "Get your own arepa Papi" Said Marco before taking a bite on his arepa.
A tick mark appeared on Camilo's forehead "Why you little rascals..."
Finally finishing washing the dishes, you grabbed a small towel and used it to dry your hands off "So I heard that the principal was calling for us three days ago" The twins instantly flinch and both stopped eating.
"Why didn't you tell us? Don't tell me you two did something unacceptable again in the school?" Your face morphed into a scowl. As you waited for the twins to answer
Manuel coughs behind his hand, before smiling innocently at his mother "We just accidentally knock someone's important school project, and so we helped that person make another project"
Marco enthusiastically nods his head in agreement "yeah, and for the part for not telling you. We let Tio Nicolas talk with the principal considering you both were busy preparing for Luna's ceremony we didn't want to bother you guys any further" Marco smoothly lied through his teeth.
Your mouth formed into a circle "Oh, is that so. What happened next then?"
The twin stayed quiet for seconds, as they recalled what happened

The twins sat on the chair inside of the principal's office and doesn't seem to be afraid. They were acting normal like they didn't do anything bad.
"Why did you guys do that?" The principal asks the two with an emotionless face. Narrowing his eyes at the twins
"The teacher deserves. He accused us of cheating when we didn't, he blame us for not cleaning his stuff when he's supposed to be one cleaning his own things" Marco explained with a deadpan expression painted on his pretty face.
"Oh and we won't forget that badly looking funky teacher give us 30 assignments just because we didn't attend school for one day" Marcus adds
Manual stares directly at the principal eyes while playing with his curly locks "he drained our patience. So we did a payback, besides his already stinky so what's the problem dumping a smelly rotten perfume over him?" The twins snorted together, trying to contain their laughs. As their shoulder shook a few silent laughs
The principal could only sigh at the troublemakers of the school " Alright. So are your parents going to come?"
The Madrigal twins shook their heads in unison in a no manner "Nope, they're busy preparing for our little sister ceremony. So we told Tio Nicolas instead"
And that's the cue, Nicolas came barging in casually inside of the room "Hello Tio" the twins greeted with grins stretch on their lips, Nicolas nods and sat on the free chair in front of the principal's table "Hey, so what did you guys do this time?"
Marco leaned away from his chair to look at his Tio Nicolas "Oh- nothing serious, we only dump a bucket of rotten smelly perfume on our advisor room teacher" He explained in a bored tone
"The perfume was made out of Corpse lilies by the way. And it was very stinky" Manuel pipes in
Nicolas arch an eyebrow "And where did you guys get a bucket of rotten smelly perfume?" He asks the boy curiously. "We steal inside from big bro's Daniel lab or more like room"
Instead of being mad at them as an adult should do, he smirks at them proudly "Nice" he says, giving his two nephews a high five. Until they heard the principal "Ahem"
Nicolas finally realized what he said, blinking a few times as he stare for a moment dumbfounded. Clearing his throat before looking down at the twins with bored look visible across his features
"Uhh, that was very mean of you guys. you two should do it again, If I were you. I would've burned the teacher" Nicolas nods to himself "Alive." He finished
The principal gasp in horror at Nicolas and felt irritated by him for encouraging the kids even more instead of scolding them "Excuse me? How can you say such things!" Nicolas scoff in response as he rises from his seat and grasps the principal collar before pulling him closer
"I say what I want to say, got that?" Nicolas snarled at him, and darkly glared at the principal "If you dare punish my nephews I'll burn this school down along with you got it donkey face?"
The principal flinches, gulping nervously as he furiously nods his head. Nicolas hums and releases his collar before turning to look at his nephew with a faint smile "Let's go now"
The twins' beam at their tio "Okay!"
[ᴇɴᴅ ᴏғ ғʟᴀsʜʙᴀᴄᴋ]
Marcus who was gifted to have telepathic communication. Start to have a conversation with his twin through their minds
"Should we tell Mami? I hope she won't get mad at us if she finds out what we did" he asks, Manuel immediately shakes his head at Marco
"No don't! If Mami finds out. She will ban us from eating arepa con queso and Papi would tease us and eat it in front of us"
Marco shivered at the thought of not being allowed to eat their favorite and getting teased by their father "yeah your right, I don't want that to happen"
Finally ending their conversation, the twins turned to look at their mother with smiles crawl up to their lips "Tio Nicolas scolds us" they both exclaimed in unison
You slightly hum at their reply "Okay then, that's good. Anywho- you two should go take a bath and rest for a bit" Soon after you walk toward the twin and gave them a tight embrace behind their backs before planting a kiss on the temple
"I love you two, always remember. That I love-" Marcus and Manuel slump their shoulders down "you guys so much yes Mami we understand you love us so dearly" they both finished your sentence simultaneously. Both huffing and playfully rolled their eyes at you
Marco and Manuel jump off their sit, before walking away they grabbed their bags first from the table "Love you both!" Camilo yelled at the twins
The twin halted on their tracks, grumbling loudly as they sigh tiredly "Yes we love you too Papi" the twins murmured.
Camilo's face fell into a frown "Seriously, those are such troublemakers. I even wonder if they still love me"
You giggled softly at your husband while carefully placing the plates inside the drawers "Those two reminded me of you when we were kids back then" You chuckled and pushed the drawer.
"They got their troublesome personality trait from their father," You stated in a teasing manner and kissed Camilo on the cheeks "What?! I may like doing pranks! But- I am not like those two!"
Luna pulled her legs into her chest and stuffed her face between them. as she admired the village from the edge of the mountain, where her parents dated when they were teenagers
Today is the day Luna would receive her gift tonight, which is nerve-racking to her. She was anxious and scared, she was terrified she won't be getting a gift that always wanted to. After hearing from her family that there is a possibility she won't get a gift terrified her
Luna always wanted a gift, she thought she would be special and useful if she had a gift. like her family, Luna had always been wanted to be useful to the people in Encanto just like her oldest brother Daniel. He is known throughout Encanto for his intelligence and for the technologies he created, he can also create healing potions and many more if he wants to.
That's how helpful her oldest brother is, and for her other brothers. Well they were helpful too even though they were known for being the duo prankster in the entire village of Encanto
Out of a blue, a certain blue butterfly catch the girl's attention. A small smile tugs to her lips after seeing it. Hah, She always loves to watch butterflies fluttering around freely. Watching them was always and has been Luna's habit, seeing a butterfly is always a cure for her sadness
"So you were here all along," A voice says, making the girl jolt surprisingly. It was Mirabel her father's cousin, Mirabel came out behind the tree. a warming smile fell over her lips as sat beside you.
"What are you doing here? (Name) and Camilo along with your brothers has been trying to find you. And It's your ceremony tonight shouldn't you be hanging out with your friend Mateo?" Mirabel teases her niece and nudges Luna by her shoulder "You two always hang out"
A blush instantly covered her entire cheeks once Mirabel mentioned the name of Mateo, and it was true, both of them were indeed super close. always hanging out every day. There is no such a single day you wouldn't see them not being stuck together
"Is there something wrong Luna? You look sad about something" Mirabel states worriedly at the girl, as she gently caressed Luna's cheeks
"I'm just scared about not getting a gift, I've always wanted to be useful and helpful like my brothers- I wanted to be special just like them and I don't wanna disappoint my parents," Luna says, voicing all her thoughts out "Especially you, I don't want you being disappointed in me" She softly whispered
Mirabel smiled and chuckled while giving her niece a comforting pat on the head "There is no need to worry about not getting a gift" she starts.
"You are already special since you were born into this world. A gift doesn't make you special, always remember that. and I believe you will get your gift tonight" Mirabel mumbled to Luna, using her fingers she tickled the girl. Making the said girl giggle slightly
"Even if you didn't get a gift, in our eyes you will burn like a star along with your brothers and cousins. And I and your parents won't be disappointed in you" Mirabel add, taking a few locks from Luna's hair and gently sliding it behind her ear
Feeling a tad bit better now, Luna smiled gratefully at her Tia Mirabel and muttered a soft thank you under her breath
"I know you are there, Mateo. Come out now, there is no need to hide" Mirabel chuckles and amusingly shakes her head. Luna agape after hearing her best friend's name being called
Mateo's head popped out from the bushes, a cheeky smile adorning across his lips "Hehe, you got me." He laughs and a walkout from the bushes and headed towards his best friend
"Teo, What are you doing here?" Luna questioned, her eyebrows slowly knitting together "What kind of question is that? It's your ceremony today! Of course, I would be here and check my best friend!" Mateo enthusiastically exclaimed
Mirabel laughs before lifting herself from the ground as she dusted the dirty out from her clothing
"I'll leave you two be" She chuckles as she finally left the two best friends alone
"So, uhmmm.... I heard your conversation with-"
"I know, you've always like to eavesdrop on someone. I'm not even surprised" Lune slyly smirks at him, Making Mateo scoff offended at her.
"Ha?! No, I don't! That's just- absurd!" Mateo stammered, the girl only grins at him smugly with a mix of 'really' look evident on her features, Mateo huff dejectedly before rolling his eyes
"Okay- fine, I do like eavesdropping sometimes!" Mateo shamelessly admits "Enough of the eavesdropping topic! Let's talk about you and getting nervous" placing his hands on her shoulder and beginning to shake Luna.
"Oh Come on, really-" Before Luna could even finish her sentence, Mateo abruptly shush his best friend. placing his index finger above her lips
"Stop with the negative stuff, that's the problem with you. All you could do is think negative thoughts" Mateo snorts earning a jab on the stomach from Luna "Believe in yourself, you will get your gift. Cause I know you do. I mean you are Luna Madrigal the most amazing person I met" He proclaimed dramatically, causing Luna to stifle a laugh a bit
"Besides you are already special, so what's to be afraid of not getting a gift?" Luna heart loudly thumps at his statement as a blush slowly coated her cheeks.
Mateo took a strand of your hair as he lovingly stroked it with his thumb "turn that frowns into an upside-down, a smile is only suited for a beautiful person like yourself" he whispers as he leans closer to Luna and embraces her in a warm welcoming hug
"Thanks, Teo..." She mumbled as she finally hugs back. Mateo let out a charming short laugh "Anything for you"
The twins grumbled lowly, already getting bored from waiting for their little sister to come down from the stairs. Until Manuel came up with an idea to tease their father as he quickly whispered his plan to his twin brother. Marco grins at this and nodded his head in agreement
Quickly scurrying toward their eldest big brother Daniel, who was quietly fixing his small robot on his hand the entire time "Hey bro, do you have your potions on you?" Marco ask. Daniel stopped what he was doing and glance at his 15years old siblings
"I have some few on me right now, what kind of potion do you want from me anyway?" He asks, quirking an eyebrow at his mischievous little brothers
"The potion that could literally copy anyone's gift. Do you have that right now?" Manuel chimes in hopefully. Daniel sticks his tongue out as he began rummaging throughout his pocket "Ah" he mumbled after feeling the pear-shaped flask on the tip of his fingers
"Here" Daniel threw the two pear-shaped flasks directly at the twins before going back fidgeting the small robot in his hands.
The twins swiftly catch it, looking at one another they grin at each other and pulled out the lid "Cheers" they quietly exclaimed behind their parents. As they finally gulp all the liquid down to their throat
Soon after Luna finally came down with Mirabel beside her. Hurriedly running to your daughter and slightly squats down in front of her "Look at you, getting your gift and look grown-up" You say rather anxiously as you leaned closer at your daughter. Winds getting stronger inside of the room, Camilo quickly notices so he gently pulls you away from Luna
"(Name), amor. Calm down, you will ruin her hair" he softly whispered through your ears. Manuel grins in mischief, Deciding this would be the best time to tease him. Copying his father's gift he then shape-shited into Camilo
"Make us proud!" Manuel exclaimed cupping his younger sister's cheeks. Luna blinks a few times at him before bursting into giggles. Meanwhile, Camilo stare at his son unamused by the teasing
"Hey, I don't sound like that!" Camilo frowns, Marco snickered at his twin brother, before also shape-shifting into Camilo "HeY, I doN't SouNd LiKe tHaT!" Marco mocks, shaking his waist left to right, making Mirabel and Daniel silently laugh behind the background
Mirabel's fake cough, caught everyone's attention "it's time, I'll go and get the candle ready," Said Mirabel and was the one who firstly left.
Before leaving, you kiss your daughter on the forehead "Relax okay? Will be waiting at your door" you say, as your turn your heels around and walk away. Daniel and Camilo soon go after you
"Okay, Okay, Okay. Vamo, Vamo, Vamo" Camilo said to his daughter Luna while waving his hand goodbye at her. As the twins copied their father again to tease him even more "Okay, Okay, Okay. Vamo, Vamo, Vamo" they said in sync, earning a glare from their father
Camilo exasperated sighed at the two, firmly gripping their collar and lifting them "Alright! We're done!" They simultaneously exclaimed, using their normal voice this time. Camilo rolled his eyes before pulling the twins away from Luna
Strolling in the walls along with your husband and son, as they all converse to each other. While you remained silent from the back, only listening to their conversation. Until a painting catches your attention. Causing you two stop from your trucks
Softly sighing, you smile sadly at it. And continued admiring the beautiful painting in front of you. Walking closer to it, your hand gently touches it
A tear rolled down your cheeks "I wished you were here right now, Abuela Luna" You softly mumbled to yourself. Eyes still focusing on the painting of your Abuela
"Mami! Papi plans to prank you tomorrow!!" You heard the twins exclaim from afar, catching your attention as you turned away from the painting. "Why you little snitches!" Camilo grumbled at the two.
A few laughs escape from your lips, as you fondly watch, Camilo, pulling the twin's ears and scolding them. While the oldest was laughing his butt off
"I sure have one hectic of a family, though— I still love them"
