Sapnap woke up to an empty bed, which usually would've been normal but given that he and Bel had gone to bed together the night prior Sapnap was only a little concerned that they weren't in bed with him.
He got out of his bed relatively quickly and grabbed his phone on the nightstand and walked out his room towards the living room where he assumed Bel would be.
As he walked through the house and closer to the kitchen area he smelled good and more noticeable he heard bickering. He knew immediately that is was Clay and Bel probably creating a mess in the kitchen. As he got closer to the kitchen he was able to hear their conversation more clearly.
"You're burning the eggs, I thought you said you could cook."
"I can cook, why don't you focus on how you're burning the pancakes."
"He likes his pancakes a little burnt."
"You would know that you simp"
"Clay I will hit you in the head with this pan"
At this point Sapnap decided it might be a good idea to make his presence known. So he cleared his throat making both Clay and Bel jump and turn around.
"Sapnap happy birthday!" Both of his friends said in sync, he loved seeing his two favorite people together and he couldn't wait until George could join them.
"I told you to stay in bed with him" Clay says in a hushed whisper, shoving Bel over to Sapnap.
"Sap we were making just making you breakfast in bed, so why don't you go back to bed and we'll be there soon okay?" Bel questioned walking up to him looking up at him through her lashes, Sapnap was completely mesmerized by them and he would quite literally do anything she asked of him in that moment. So he nodded his head and made his way back into his room.
It didn't take long for Sapnap's two friends to be done cooking and coming into his room with a tray of food singing happy birthday to him.
He noticed a stack of pancakes with a singular candle lit on it, and he also noticed how Dream was holding a phone and had George on call singing happy birthday along with them. Sapnap would never admit it but he felt himself starting to tear up at the small gesture. It almost felt like a dream.

After the breakfast in bed Sapnap was informed that he needed to get ready for the rest of the day that Dream and Isa had planned. He decided on a simple causal outfit and made his way to the living room where Clay sat petting patches and scrolling through fanart on twitter.
"Is Bel still getting ready?" Sapnao questioned as he took a seat next to his best friend.
"Yeah she was doing her hair last time I checked in on them, they should be done soon." Dream said absentmindedly.
"Are you going to tell me where we are going?" Sapnap asked in a hopeful manner.
"No." Dream said quickly, making Sapnap slump in his spot.
The two waited in silence until Bel came down the hall and told the two boys she was finally ready to go. Sapnap took in her presence and realized how completely enamored he was with her, and he needed to tell her before they get separated again.
Dream is the one that is driving and Sapnap sits in the passenger side of the car (only because he called shotgun), while Bel controlled the music. She opted to playing only hype songs because she loved when Sapnap would rap to them. The drive was quite long but it was only because they were trying to get out of a city area. They ended up in a nature preserve.
Clay had rented a whole area just for them three in the preserve to have a picnic and enjoy the nature, which is something 3 streamers didn't really do often. It was perfect. Sapnap thought.
Clay and Bel grab bags from the trunk of the car and made their way to the hilly area. Once they go there Bel told Sapnap and Clay to look around while they set up the picnic, she's a bit of a perfectionist so she wanted to set it up by herself.
After aimlessly walking for about 10 minutes Bel yelled at them to come back to their picnic spot. There was an enormous amount of food and alcoholic beverages that was mainly for Sapnap and Isa as Clay didn't really drink (he was the one who bought it though), and different board games, a speaker, and a pink cowboy hat?
"I bought the hat in Texas and thought it would be perfect for you birthday boy." Isa says with a teasing grin on her face, one that Sapnap rolled his eyes at jokingly. Nevertheless, he puts the cowboy hat on with no resistance.

When it started getting darker and cooler outside Clay announced that there was a fire pit for them to use and make some s'mores. Clay was the one who made the fire while Sapnap and Bel sat on a log together huddled in a blanket, neither dressed for the cool temperature in the nighttime but Clay being the good friend that he is had brought a blanket for them. As the three friends laughed at each others jokes, and basked in natures sounds, as well as sinning campfire songs, Sapnap felt his heart warm.
He glanced over to the person he was in love with and couldn't help but admire the orange glow on her face, the way her cheeks were the faintest pink as she laughed at something that Dream has said, the way he could see the reflection of fire in her eyes. Sapnap felt himself melt as he took in all of her, the fire in front of him could not come close to setting him ablaze the same way that she did.
The night ended shortly after that, the three friends found themselves pilling back into the car, this time Bel let Sapnap control the music. Everything was perfect.
Bel however was having a complete meltdown in the back of the car, and she only had one person she could talk to about a situation like this.
