Looking out of the car window and remembering what happened yesterday.
Small Flash back
I was in the hospital after having an allergic reaction. I will never forget the look on Jimin and taehyung's face. It was like they didn't care.
Dad and Miranda came to the hospital to check on me and went home a few hours later. They took home the boys but Jin and Namjoon insisted on staying with me. I didn't protest because I didn't want to be alone. I spent the night at the hospital and we got picked up the next day.
We got dropped off straight at home and I took a shower and got cleaned up because I needed to go with Miranda to go get the things for the wedding because it was this weekend on Saturday and it is Monday.
Flash forward
I sighed as we pulled up to to the wedding place. Miranda noticed but didn't say anything. I got out of the car and went into the shop.
"Hi may I help you?" A lady with blonde hair and blue eyes asked walking up to us.
"Yea hi I need to find a Maid of honor dress and I need it before Saturday." Miranda said making me surprised.
'Maid of honor'
Was she trying to bribe me?
"If this is your way of bribing me, its not going to work." I said as I walked away to find a dress.
The theme of the wedding is vintage and modern. I picked out 2 dresses. One short red one and one plaid with green and red. They were beautiful and they were too good for this wedding but I guess they will do.
I went to the dressing room and put the dresses on and they fit me perfectly. They hugged my body well. I loved it.
I went too the cashier and put the dresses down the counter.
" $98.31 is your total. Would you like a a bag?" The cashier asked folding the dresses.
"Yes please." I said taking out my wallet.
As the cashier was putting the dresses in the bag Miranda came and handed the cashier a $100 bill.
"Look her women I don't need you to pay for my things." I said putting $110 on the counter as I took the bag and walked out.
"Keep the change." Closing the door behind me as I walked to the car. I had to wait till this lady came back outside and into the car.
She finally came back and we went to David's Bridal shop to make sure that the wedding dress was ready for the wedding. It was about a 1/2 an hour drive from where we were.
"So are you hungry?" Michelle asked causally. I glared at her and looked out of the window.
"No I'm not." I said coldly. She sighed and left me alone.
Small time skip
We finally got to the shop and Michelle went inside. I started to get hungry so I asked Sebastian to stop at a pizza place.
I waited for about 5 10 minutes before my number was called. I took the pizza and went to the front of the car.
"Sebastian would you like a slice of pizza?" I asked waving the box of pizza in his face.
"No thank you ma'am." He said looking straight.
"If someone told you that you can't eat on the job,screw them you'd should eat. I'll deal with them. ans call me y/n." I said opening the box and grabbing some tissues.
"Here take one you know you want." I said him the napkin and pulling the box closer so he came take a slice.
He sighed.
"Thank you ma'am I mean y/n your really kind." He said with a small tear in his eye as he took the slice. I smiled and went to the back of the car.
" So Sebby tell me about yourself and your family.¨ I said getting comfortable with eating my pizza.
"Uh-h my daughter and wife called me Sebby but my daughter passed away a few years ago in an accident. The Sewol ferry incident. My wife couldn't take the pain and she committed suicide a few days later." He said.
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have asked." I said quietly.
"No. It's not your fault. It was the captains fault in the first place. When you called me Sebby you reminded me of my wife. She called me that'll the time. Don't apologize." He said wiping his tears with the napkin.
"I honestly don't know what to say." I said quietly.
"You don't need to say anything . If you'd like you can keep calling me Sebby." He said wiping his hands with hand sanitizer and he passed it back to me.
"Of course Sebby." I said smiling wiping my hands with the sanitizer.
Michelle can back ruining the moment.
"Oh look you brought food. The dress is almost ready they just need to add final touches." She said excitedly. I looked at her like she was stupid and ignored her.
"Anyway Sebby can you take me home. I'm sleepy." I said turning back to face him. He looked kinda worried. I figured that because he wasn't worried before so Miranda's presence has to do with it.
"Uh yes ma'am." He said Boeing in the mirror and started the car.
"No need to call me ma'am. Just call me y/n" I said smiling.
"Yea ma- I mean y/n." He said driving off.
Miranda looked pissed.
I mean I warmed up to a driver over her who will marry my father.
I looked at her and and rolled my eyes.
Another mini time skip - 1 hour later
We finally got home after an hour of driving and all of that shopping. I went straight to my room and took a shower.
When I was finished I went I got he kitchen to warm up my food. I had 5 slices of pizza left cause Miranda took one.
I warmed a slice up in the oven and as I waited I made an iced coffee with caramel and whipped cream. By the time I was done the pizza was halfway done so I went to set everything in the meanwhile.
"Hey." Namjoon said as he walked into the kitchen.
"Hi. Are you hungry?" I asked as I finished setting the table.
"Yea. I'm more than hungry, starving if you ask me." He said opening the fridge.
"And theirs nothing good." He said disappointingly
"There's pizza. Here I'll put in a few slices for you." I said taking the box off the table.
(He only didn't see it at first cause I blocked the view and when he went into the refrigerator the counter blocked it.)
"Yea sure. Thanks." He said smiling as he walked over to take the box.
"No problem. Just take the whole box. I've already had 2 slice. I don't want anymore." I said as the oven went off indicating that the pizza was ready.
"Thanks.¨ He said as he went to the oven to take my pizza out and put his in.
He put my food on the table as I thanked him. I started to eat my food while watching the Netflix series 'Boys Over Flowers.' (Highly recommended).
As I finished the episode and my food namjoon's food was ready and out the oven. I took my plate to the sink and went into my room.
I stayed into my room until dinner. I wanted to stay for dinner. I don't know why but I wanted to stay.
It was finally time for dinner and I went downstairs.
They were kind of shocked to see me downstairs, but I didn't mind it.
Dad cleared his throat and and we sat down for dinner.
Julia, our head maid came out with 7 other maids who the food in their hands.
It was kimchi fried rice with a side of shrimp. They put the food in front of us and we began to eat.
"So how's school?" Dad asked the table directly. No one answered.
"Y/n?" Dad said making everyone look at me.
"Schools fine just boring." I said nonchalantly.
"Ok.... How about everyone else?"
"Same." They all murmured.
"Oh ok" Miranda said.
"So are you guys ready for Saturday?" dad asked holding Miranda hand tighter. It was still silent.
"How about we just eat?" I said rolling my eyes annoyed at the fact he kept asking stupid questions he already knew the answer to.
"Ok." Dad said like he was disappointed but I didn't care honestly.
We sat and ate in silence.
I felt a hand touch my thigh as I took a huge scoop of rice. I looked down to see Jin's hand. I tried to get his hand off my thighs but his grip was to hard.
"Let go." I whispered but he shock his head no and gripped my thought tighter.
"Y/n is their something wrong?" Miranda asked making everyone look at me.
"Yea y/n is their something wrong?" Jin asked rubbing my thigh.
"Uh... yea I'm fine. Just tired." I said fake yawning.
"Ok hurry up so you can go to bed." Dad stated as I nodded in agreement.
20 minutes later we were done and everyone went to the living room and I started to help the maids with cleaning the dishes. I may be rude to my father but that first make me a spoiled brat.
"You know that you don't have to clean that? That's why we have maid in the first place." Taehyung said walking into the kitchen.
"I know. Wait why are you talking to me in a nice way? That's suspicious." I said as I put the dishes in the sink.
"I'm not I'm just talking to you which I don't want to do anymore. So goodbye." He said as he took the box of strawberry's and walked out of the kitchen
"Yea right." I whispered as I started to wash the dishes.
Time skip ~ The wedding (Saturday)
It was finally the day of the wedding and I was somewhat excited. Dad was getting married but BTS would be my stepbrother (especially seokjin whom I love dearly).
"Y/n you need to get dressed so you can do your makeup." Miranda said across the hall. She didn't want me to see her yet.
"Yea yea whatever." I said rolling my eyes as I got dressed.
Outfit:
After I was done getting ready I went to go get some food. I grab some food. I took some Mac and cheese a side salad and some fried chicken with some fries. It may sound like a lot but it's really not especially since I grabbed a small portion of each.
I grabbed a seat and started to eat. I took out my phone and started to scroll through TikTok. I was halfway through my meal when I felt someone pull a chair in front of me. I looked up to see hobi.
"Y/n. Your here." Hobi said as he sat down infront of me.
"Yea." I said as I put my phone down.
"That's good. I was upstairs and I was bored and hungry so I came downstairs. I thought I was going to be alone but good thing your here." He said as he looked at me smiling.
"Y/n are you ok you seem quiet." He said as he look e at me worriedly.
"Yea I'm fine I'm just surprised." I said calmly.
"Why?" He asked as he tilted his head toward me.
"I don't know I just am." I said trying to eat my food.
"Oh ok. I guess I will get some food now. I'll see you later." He said as he got up pushed his chair.
Time skip- the wedding
I was sitting in the seat of the chapel looking at my father. Since I rejected the idea of maid of honor, Miranda gave it to someone else. She was disappointed but I honestly did care. I watched as my father took his place with the boys except yoongi by his side. They were all constantly looking at me but I didn't care. Finally Miranda came as I watched the walk down the aisle with Yoongi as their arms were wrapped around each other.
Yoongi walked his mother to the front and left her infront of my dad as he wiped a tear. Yoongi came to sit next to me as I gagged that dad wiping his tears.
¨Its that bad?"yoongi said as he looked at me.
I nodded yes and continued to watch the event start to unfold.
BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH DON'T KNOW WHAT YOUR SUPPOSED TO SAY
"Will you Kim Miranda take Lee Jungmin as your lawfully wedded husband?" The priest said.
"I do." Miranda said as she smiled at my father.
"Lee Jungmin do you take Kim Miranda as your lawfully wedded husband?" The priest said as he looked at my dad.
"I do." He said as he smiled at Miranda.
"You may kiss the bride." The priest said as everyone started to clap and cheer.
We all stood up as we started to clap.
Dad and Miranda stopped kissing and walked out of the chapel waving as they left. Everyone started to clap and cheer as they made their way walking behind them. I stayed behind and let out a sigh.
Tears made my way into my eyes as i thought about what just happened. I mean I was happy that dad was happy but I just didn't feel great.
"You ok?" A voice said as he put his hands on my shoulder.
"Yea I'm fine." I said as I started to wipe my tears as I started to get up.
"No sit down." I look at the person to see that it's Jimin.
"What do you want? Want to make fun of me again?" I said as my throat started to close and tears watering my eyes.
"No actually. I feel bad for you." He said as he sat down next to me.
"why would you feel bad for me? you hate me so much right?" I said wiping my tears more.
"Because I feel you. Its hard . I never wanted mom to get remarried but I always wanted her to be happy." He said giving me a tissue.
"Same for me. It has always been just me and appa. I never wanted that to change." I said taking the tissue of of his hand.
"Yeah. No one likes change if its not something that would benefits them." He said looking at me.
"Yea. Miranda is great but I really miss when it was just me, mom and dad."I said cooling down.
"Yea. I guess we will just wait to see what will happen next. I know that we both dont want to ruin our parents happiness." He said as he stood up
"I guess. We wont talk about this. Ever." I said getting up.
"Yup." He said as we both started to walk out.
We went outside and got into the car to go to the after party.
Time skip- The after party
It was the after party and i changed into my second outfit of the day.
"Hey y/n can I talk to you?" dad said as I was going to sit down far away from the table.
"Fine." I said and started to walk out. We went to the garden and we sat down on the bench.
"For starters I want to say that you look beautiful." He said.
"HMM." I said as I turned my head and folded my arms on my chest.
"Look I understand that you didn't want me to get remarried as it was always just me and you. I'm sorry. I should have asked your opinion first." He said scratching his nape.
"Nope you shouldn't be sorry. I should be sorry. You shouldn't have to ask about my opinion on if you should be married because it's your choice. I'm also sorry because of how I treated you and Miranda. No one deserves to be treated that way and I'm sorry for how I treated you both." I said turning around and hugging him.
He hugged me back and said
"All I want to say is I will never forget your mother. She was an amazing person. Your mom left some things for you. I have left them in your room before the wedding. Your mom wanted you to have it." He said as he hugged me back.
We stayed their for a while before he let go and stood up.
"Dad?" I said looked up and he looked behind him and down.
"Thank you. I will try to accept Miranda. I will try to accept them all." I said smiling softly. He picked up a flower from the garden and put it in my hair.
(Just the flower in the hair part)
"Thanks you y/n you don't know how much I appreciate this." He said kissing my forehead.
"I'll see you inside." I said as he nodded and went inside.
I sighed and looked up at the sky.
"Hi Mom. I miss you. Appa just got remarried. I'm sure watching him love another women wasn't a good thing to see.He wants me to move on. I'm trying my best tho. I'll see you one day. Good bye mom. Love you." Standing up, I walked back into the venue .
I went straight to the table where everyone was sitting. Dad saw me and smiled. I smiled back and I started to enjoy my food.
For the rest of night we laughed and drank.
At the balcony- after the ceremony.
"Had a great night?" I turned around to see the boys walking up to me with wine glasses in their hands. Jin had 2 and handed me one.
"Yea. Thanks. You guys?" I said taking a sip of the wine.
"Same." They all murmured.
"Cheers to a great night?" Namjoon asked as we looked around.
In the end:
"CHEERS TO A GREAT NIGHT." we all said as we tapped our glasses together.
