Why us.
It was a normal day when they approached us, and we saw the light of true day, true peace for the last time. We'd been spending the morning together! Nothing more, nothing less. We had plans for today. We were going to start work on more defense.. But I suppose we were too late.
Why Us? What did we do?
They approached the house at sunset, I looked over to Vik and he returned the gaze to me. Why was Dream here... And suddenly, That green bastard brandished an axe. We ran. We ran through the woods, our steps thundering as the two men chased us. We knew we wouldn't make it out alive. We had to live, we had to. Why us. Why us. WHY US?!
A dead end. We were caught. It was over. This was our final goodbye to the peace we once new, and a hello to a life of pure pain and torture.
Why Us? How did this happen?
We tasted death for the first time, waltzed with the afterlife at a ball we never thought would end. Tasted the wine of blood that fills your mouth. A sickening taste. I felt the water fall onto me, I swallowed it, I choked on it. I drowned. It felt like flying, but maybe, I was truly dying. Water filled my lungs, I could feel it. A disgusting feeling, and then... Darkness. What happened to Vik? What happened to me? So that was death? A feeling so good yet so horrible. Surrounded by darkness, a ringing in your ear. I saw my limbo for only a moment, I couldn't even comprehend it before they brought us back.
Why us? Why should normal people like us suffer?
It was quiet.
Then the breath was returned to our lungs.. How were we alive? I saw Vik, he was alive.. Relief, it coursed through my veins like a gift, a moment of relief, peace.. But it wouldn't last for long. Dream had they look , a grin under his mask. Punz looked... Guilty, somehow.. Why Us..? Why did they chose us?
