【 All right! Let's go over our plan. 】 Tanah said as the trio huddled together. 【 I'll be in the front as our main source of physical defense. 】
【 Petir, you'll be at the back. 】Tanah turned to face said element, the lightning element hummed in response, 【 You're in charge of our mobility and assisting me with defense. 】
【 And seeing as he's the most flexible one out of the three of us, Angin will be the rider. 】 Tanah turned to Angin, who was previously looking at something in the stands, as the wind element nodded profusely with a smile.
【 Everyone will be after Izukun's team, but that means they'll be leaving themselves open as they're too busy with his points. 】 Tanah continued as Petir interjected with his own remark, 【 But we're not the only one with a similar plan... 】
The three elements glance at the Class B students, specifically the blond one they've already met before. Petir clicked his tongue, annoyed, as Angin pouted at them. Tanah sighed, understanding fully well why they felt hostile against the Class B students, but they needed to focus.
【 That's why we stayed back, remember? 】 Tanah reminded them, 【 Even if they've seen our powers in action, we've seen theirs too. 】
【 Is the plan clear? 】 Tanah inquired as Petir answered affirmatively whilst Angin stayed silent. 【 Angin? 】
The wind element was staring off somewhere again. This time his expression etched with irritation and confusion, the usually cheerful facade falling. Petir was the one to snap the wind element from his daze, smacking the back of his head.
【 Oi, airhead! Get your mind out of the clouds! 】 Petir grumbled, Tanah giving him a glare, as Angin rubbed the back of his head. 【 Sorry... it's just... 】 The wind element trails off before pointing at what he was staring at.
【 That's Endeavor... isn't he? 】
Tanah and Petir immediately turned towards the direction Angin was pointing at, and just like the wind element said, Endeavor was in the stands. Petir growled at the sight of the pro hero, if you could call him that with everything they knew . . .
A silence filled the air for a moment as the three stared at the number two hero with disdain. Sighing, Tanah tore his gaze away as he pulled the other two back to the present.
【 We'll worry about him later. 】 Tanah said, gaining his fellow elements' attention,【 For now, let's get through to the next round. 】
【 You remember the plan, right? 】 Petir questioned with a smirk as the wind element huffed in response, 【 Of course! I listened! 】 Angin exclaimed.
The two looked towards Tanah, nodding to their leader. 【 Let's do this! 】

Time's up! Midnight announced, 「 now then, it's about time to get started! 」 She started getting ready, stretching to pass the time for Present Mic's commentary narration.
「 Excuse me, Midnight-sensei? 」 Someone called out to her. She quickly glances over to see it was Angin, 「 Oh? What is it? 」 She inquired the element.
Angin then takes off his dino cap, staring at it for a moment before holding it out to the pro hero. 「 Can you hold onto my cap for me? 」 The wind element asked, knowing it would get in the way of the headband.
Midnight smiled, taking the cap from the element,「 Sure thing! 」 She placed the cap atop her own head, styling it like how the wind element had. 「 How do I look? 」 She asked whilst posing dramatically.
Angin lets out a small laugh, giving her a thumbs up. 「 You look very cool! 」 He exclaimed, smiling widely at her, before bowing deeply. 「 Please take good care of it! 」 He said as Midnight nodded.
「 Good luck, kid! 」 Angin thanked the pro hero, rushing back to his team.
「 After fifteen minutes to form teams and talk strategy, thirteen cavalry teams are lined up on the field! 」 Present Mic announced to the audience.
「 There are some interesting teams out there. 」 Eraser Head commented.
「 Now, raise those battle cries! 」 Present exclaimed, 「 Counting down to the brutal battle royal! 」
"Three!"
「 We're aiming for... 」
"Two!"
「 ...one thing. 」
"One!"
【 Poor Izukun... 】 The BoBoiBoy Trio couldn't help but think as they ready themselves for the assault.
"Start!"
And as expected, almost everyone is gunning after the ten million point holder. Izuku scanned the incoming teams, taking in all the familiar and unfamiliar faces of his competitors.
「 An attack without delay, huh... 」 Tokoyami murmured,「 The fate of the pursued... 」
「 Make your choice, Midoriya! 」 The raven head exclaimed as Izuku instantly knew their plan of action, 「 Of course, our course is to run away! 」 Izuku declared.
「 I won't let you! 」 The gray-haired Class B student yelled, his team's front horse stepping his foot down which caused the floor between Izuku's team to sink like quicksand.
Analyzing their situation, Izuku is quick to realize that the cause for it was the gray-haired guy's front horse's Quirk.「 It's no good... I can't get out! 」 Uraraka stated, panicked.
「 Uraraka-san! Hatsume-san! Turn your faces away! 」 Izuku immediately sprung into action, instructing the two girls who followed, as he pressed the hand-held trigger.
The jetpack starts up and it takes the team up in the air as they fly over the other teams, escaping their grasps. But some can still attack from afar, Hagakure's team was right underneath theirs when Jirou sent her earphone jacks at them. Tokoyami thought quickly, though, sending Dark Shadow to deflect the attack.
「 Tokoyami! 」 Jirou yelled.
「 Good! 」 Tokoyami praised the shadow entity, 「 Dark Shadow, keep watch over our blind spots! 」
「 Got it! 」 Dark Shadow exclaimed.
Izuku couldn't help but be starstruck at the Tokoyami's Quirk again. 「 Wow, that's so cool! 」 He muttered in awe.
「 The defense that we were lacking... 」Izuku stated, relieved to have the extra defense they had needed, 「 You're more than making up for it with your omnidirectional mid-range defense! 」
The compliments were cut short when Dark Shadow yelled out a warning, 「 Flying BoBoiBoy! Incoming! 」
「 He's gotten separated from his horses! 」 Present Mic exclaimed, astonished to watch the wind element immediately fly off from his team, 「 Is that okay?! 」
「 It's a technicality, so it's okay! 」 Midnight stated, giving them a thumbs up, 「 As long as he doesn't touch the ground, he's good! 」
Izuku turned towards the direction of the flying brunet to see it was Angin. Actually, that was obvious, who else would be flying? Dark Shadow placed itself in front of the wind element, ready to defend when the brunet suddenly pushed himself upwards using the wind. Angin flew over them, reaching towards Izuku's headband.
But Izuku wasn't going to let him.
「 Everyone! Hold onto me! 」 Izuku told his team, who followed his instructions. 「 3 percent... Just enough to blow him away! 」 Izuku swiftly turns himself, shoving the offender's hand away, as he kicks the space between him and Angin.
He sends both Angin and his team flying, the wind element goes plummeting down but is safely caught by Tanah and Petir. Angin cheered Izuku's attack, amazed with the greenet's quick thinking, as Tanah scolds him and tells him to be more careful and to focus whilst Petir zaps him with a bit of lightning to snap him out of it.
「 What's this?! 」 Present Mic exclaimed, the crowd cheering wildly, as the students stared in shock, 「 Midoriya defends with a powerful kick! He sent both BoBoiBoy and his own team flying! 」
「 Deku-kun! Are you okay?! 」 Uraraka inquired her friend, knowing the effects of the greenet's Quirk. But to her surprise, Izuku was fine. 「 I'm okay, Uraraka-san! Don't worry! 」
Meanwhile, Izuku presses a button on the jetpack's straps, the top opens up as a glider shoots out. Izuku quickly grabs the glider, the team gliding down to the ground. A sigh of relief escaped his lips, relieved he thought to ask Hatsume if she had a parachute or gilder in case of a malfunction, he's able to use it when they get off balanced in the air now, too.
「 We're landing! 」 Uraraka warned, using the hover boots she was wearing to help land them safely onto the ground. Uraraka had made everyone aside from herself and the equipment, allowing their group to gain some increased mobility when running away from the other teams.
「 What do you think of my babies? 」 Hatsume asked as they ran away from the groups of students, 「 Aren't they cute? Cuteness can be made you know. 」
「 Excellent mobility! 」 Izuku praised, complimenting the pinkette's incredible inventions, 「 The babies are amazing, Hatsume-san! 」
「 Right? 」 Hatsume exclaimed joyfully as Uraraka muttered something under her breath.
They couldn't catch a break, however, as they were soon being targeted again. This was just the beginning, barely two minutes passing. It's now a free-for-all.

Team BoBoiBoy observed everyone. Hagakure's team got their points snatched by that Class B blond; the raven-haired guy with the Scales Quirk had two headbands now; and the orange-haired girl that could gigantify her hands had stolen two headbands. Class B was doing great right now.
In the midst of this, they see Izuku's team take to the sky again. Angin was gutting ready to fly after them when someone beats him to it
「 Kacchan! 」 Izuku shouted as the spiky blond blasts himself towards the greenet. 「 Don't get carried away! 」 Bakugou yelled, winding his hand back to send an explosion at Izuku
「 Tokoyami-kun! 」 Izuku calls out to his raven head teammate, who came through in the nick of time, as Dark Shadow takes the hit from Bakugou's explosion.
「 Damn it! 」 Bakugou grumbled as he started to fall back. Sero swiftly shot his tape at the blond, reeling him back to their team.
「 Another separated from his horses! 」 Present Mic narrated as the crowd cheered wildly, 「 That's one after another now! 」
Angin watches as Bakugou is safely retrieved back to his team, and Izuku's team land back to the ground, their landing clumsy than before. The wind element notices a part of one of the hover boots stuck on Mineta's sticky ball on the ground, and he immediately snaps out of his daze when a fury of said sticky balls came flying at them.
【 EARTH WALL! 】 Tanah slammed his foot down as the ground emerged a wall of rocks, effectively blocking the attacks.
【 Oi Airhead! Not the time to lose focus again! 】 Petir scolded the wind element as they ran away in a blink from the area with the help of Petir's Lightning Speed.
【 Sorry! I'm focusing! I'm focusing! 】 Angin apologized, shaking his head, as he tried to clear his head. Taking a glance at the current rankings, the wind element gasps which causes the other two elements to turn towards the board as well.
「 What? Wait a minute! 」 Present Mic exclaimed in shock, 「 Other than Midoriya, Class A isn't doing so well... 」
BoBoiBoy's team was in 6th place as expected, but the rest of Class A had zero points. It surprised the trio. Even Bakugou's team had their headband stolen! And speaking of the spiky blond . . .
「 Class A is too simple-minded. 」 The trio heard the Class B blond say as he snatches Bakugou's headband.
「 He got us! 」 Mina shouted as Bakugou yelled at the other blond. 「 What'd you say, bastard? Give that back! I'll kill you! 」 threatened Bakugou, but the other wasn't fazed.
The BoBoiBoy trio watched the whole scene play out, cringing at the jabs the Class B blond said to provoke the increasingly angered spiky blond.
「 Oh, while I'm at it, you're famous aren't you? 」 The Class B blond persisted, smirking at the now pissed Bakugou, 「 As the victim of the sludge incident! Tell me about it sometime-- 」
「 About how it feels to be attacked by villains once a year. 」
That was the final straw for Bakugou. The air was tense, and a menacing aura was emitting from Bakugou. 「 Kirishima... change of plans... 」 Bakugou said as his team turned to him in concern, even the BoBoiBoys were worried now.
「 Before we get Deku, let's kill these guys! 」 Bakugou declared, deadlocked on absolutely mercilessly murdering them if he has to.
Angin was the first to snap out of their sightseeing, 【 We should start getting headbands now too! 】 the wind element said as Tanah and Petir nodded in agreement.
But something stirred in them, and none of them needed to say it to understand that they were all feeling it, too. The victim of the sludge villain? What exactly did that entail? They didn't have time to think as they were interrupted by someone standing in their way.
「 Let's see just how good you are! 」 The gray-haired Class B student—Tetsutetsu, Angin remembers his name on the rankings—yelled at him as his team blocked their path.
Eyeing the two headbands they had—one on Tetsutetsu's head and the other on his neck, Angin readies himself as he doesn't need to give his fellow elements instructions since they already know what to do.
They've been a trio longer than they have been a group.

Izuku knew he'd face Todoroki sooner or later, but he really hoped it would've been later right now. They've reached halftime now, and it seemed that now was the right time for Todoroki to move. So there they were, staring each other down.
「 I'll be taking that now. 」 The heterochromic teen stated blankly.
However, Todoroki wasn't the only one after him. Izuku hears Mineta's voice shout at them and sees a few other teams running after them. Izuku didn't mind them as much, though, as his focus was on the biggest threat of the moment.
「 I thought we would not have a confrontation until later in this contest. 」 Tokoyami voiced, having a similar hopeful thing as the greenet. 「 He seems to think highly of you, Midoriya. 」 The raven head said.
Izuku bit back a retort. He kind of wished the heterochromic teen didn't, but now was not the time to wallow in current events. 「 Only half the time is left! 」 Izuku exclaimed, instructing his team, 「 don't stop moving. 」
「 Iida, forward. 」 Todoroki commanded as Iida followed, running forward with Kaminari and Yaoyorozu rollerblading alongside.
「 Yaoyorozu, prepare to guard us and conduct electricity. 」 He continued to give instructions to his team as Yaoyorozu replies affirmatively, getting ready to create the said items requested.
「 Kaminari, you-- 」 The heterochromic teen doesn't even start his sentence when the sparky blond responds accordingly, 「 I know what I have to do! 」
Uraraka was hovering them backwards as fast as possible, but Izuku stayed sharp, reminding his teammates to be alert as well. 「 Watch our surroundings. 」 Izuku cautioned, looking at the incoming teams, 「 It's not just one group coming for us! 」
Before he could say anything else, Izuku notices Kaminari start to spark. The blond lets out his signature Indiscriminate Shock 1.3 Million Volts, electrifying the surrounding teams, as Todoroki covers himself and his team with the conduct blanket and effectively protects them. Kaminari's attack almost hit Izuku had it not been for Dark Shadow taking the hit and protecting his team.
Then, Izuku feels the air chill, and he quickly turns towards the front of him. He watched as Todoroki froze the ground with the help of Momo's Quirk, every team that was after Izuku aside from Todoroki was now encased in ice.
「 Todoroki took care of the crowd of teams in an instant! 」 Present Mic exclaimed, the crowd loudening more and more.
「 He froze them after Kaminari's shock stopped them... 」 Eraser Head commented, remarking on the heterochromic teen's quick adaptability, 「 I guess it should be expected, but he took into account how a lot of people avoided it in the obstacle course. 」
「 Nice commentary! 」 Present Mic complimented.
Izuku was getting increasingly distressed. The heterochromic teen had stolen two headbands from the other teams, before creating a wall of ice behind and around them. Now, it was just the Todoroki's team in pursuit of Izuku's. And to make things worse, the jetpack on his back started to malfunction.
「 The backpack's acting up? 」 Izuku said in alarm, quickly deducing it was because of Kaminari's Quirk. 「 Baby! There's room for improvement! 」 Hatsume responded in dismay.
Now, their way of escape through the sky was out of the window.
「 Oh no, it's too strong! 」 Uraraka yelled, alerting the entire team of the swiftly approaching team,「 We can't get away! 」
「 I'll restrain them! 」 Tokoyami exclaimed, sending the shadow entity forward, as Dark Shadow threw its claw at Todoroki.
Todoroki is haste to call on Yaoyorozu's help as the noirette creates a blockage to defend from Dark Shadow's attack. Izuku grumbles, trying to analyze the situation and his team's best course of action now.
「 Yaoyorozu's Creation is too hard to deal with! 」 Izuku mumbled, troubled by the versatility of the noirette's Quirk. However, Tokoyami disagrees.「 No... Kaminari is worse. 」
「 With that level of armor, if it had been sunlight, Dark Shadow would've been ripped apart, 」 stated Tokoyami as Izuku remembers the raven head told him about his Quirk before the game.
Dark Shadow has increased offense capabilities in the dark but is harder to control, while on the contrary, it is decreased in light but is easier to control.
「 I see... Kaminari-kun's lighting... 」 Izuku quickly surmised as Tokoyami nodded, continuing to explain the sparky blond's vitality, 「 As long as he keeps discharging electricity, attacking will be difficult. 」
「 Dark Shadow will become timid, 」 said Tokoyami as Izuku is shocked to witness the shadow entity sniffle. 「 I'm against violence... 」 Dark Shadow whimpered.
All of a sudden, they stopped at the edge of the out of bounds, Todoroki's team soon closing in on them.
「 Team Midoriya has nowhere left to go! 」 Present Mic exclaimed, the crowd screaming as they anticipate what will happen.
「 Decreased offense... 」 Izuku muttered quietly to Tokoyami of his weakness to light. 「 They don't know that, do they? 」
「 I don't believe so, 」 Tokoyami responded, 「 The only person I've told about this weakness is Kouda, at USJ, and he is a man of few words. 」
「 If they don't know about it, then we can use it to hold them back. 」 Izuku said, facing forward, as he watched Todoroki's team. 「 It's fine, it's my turn. 」 Izuku stated as his team turned to him curiously.
It would've been nice to have his shoes on for this but it'll work just fine. Using Tokoyami's shoulders as support, Izuku sends out a four percent kick on the ground. It broke instantly, making the terrain uneven. Then, he sends out another kick. It would be a hassle for his team as well to navigate, but even with one functional hover boot, they were far better off than Todoroki's team and their rollerblades.
「 Midoriya just destroyed the field's flat surface! Now it's gonna be a lot harder to move! 」 Present Mic narrated as Eraser Head watched silently.
His team watched in stunned silence. Similarly, Todoroki's team is horrified at the broken terrain. Todoroki snaps his head at Izuku, anger in his eyes at the inconvenience. How did he do this without breaking his bones? How did he improve so fast?
Izuku settles back on his team, patting Tokoyami's back and muttering small thanks, before flashing them a wide grin. 「 No matter what, we will hang on to the ten million! 」 Izuku declared to his team.

【 Aw man! I only got the one on his neck! 】 Angin huffed, putting the 420 points around his neck, as he glanced back at Tetsutetsu's team with a smirk.
What was that?
The trio were just in front of them just a minute ago. Using his element, Angin had jumped and flew past them in just a few seconds with one of their headbands. And the wind element's horses that were in front of them had seemingly teleported behind them to catch their rider.
Tetsutetsu growled, his team sharing his irritation, as they turned around. They were on high alert now, Tetsutetsu had made his body turn to steel, his arms stretched out as if he's anticipating Angin's next attempt at the headband on his head.
「 Come at me--! 」 Tetsutetsu doesn't even finish his sentence when Angin lunges at him. His reflexes were fast, though, as he reached after the element.
Unexpectedly for them, however, was how Angin pushed himself up with a burst of wind, doing a frontflip over them, and got the headband effortlessly before landing onto his other fellow elements that zipped behind them again.
Thinking on the fly, the vine-haired girl—Shiozaki—sent her multiple vines at them which were swiftly blocked by Tanah's Earth Barrier that covered the elements team from all sides.
【 Phew! We did it! 】 Angin exclaimed cheerfully but the celebration was cut short when vines emerged from the ground and headed straight towards them.
【 Angin! 】 Tanah instantly shouts the element's name as Angin responds, already knowing the plan of action, 【 I know! 】
【 Hold on tight, you guys! 】 Angin said as the two elements held on tighter onto the wind element. 【 WIND SHIELD! 】 He yelled out, the trio hovering from the ground as they were surrounded by a rapidly moving wind-like ball.
The vines get immediately cut by the high pressure wind along with the earth barrier. The debris flew in several different directions, one hitting Tetsutetsu but left no mark on the guy. His team was ready to intercept them when they suddenly flew up!
【 Don't you dare drop us, you hear?! 】 Petir warned the laughing wind element as they flew over the many students.
「 What in the world?! 」 Present Mic exclaimed, 「 Team BoBoiBoy is flying overhead everyone! What the heck?! 」
Some students looked up at them, stunned, shocked to see them. From up top, they could see Tetsutetsu's team trying to run after them. They could see Bakugou struggling to retrieve his team's points back from the Class B blond—Monoma's team And they saw Izuku . . . wait what?!

「 Todoroki made it so that he'd have the ten million to himself to seize in an instant! 」 Present Mic narrated, at the edge of his seat just watch these two duke if out. 「 At least, that's what I thought five minutes ago! 」
「 But unbelievably, Midoriya's been able to keep away in that cramped space for five minutes! 」
「 Hold! 」 Midoriya yelled the moment Shouto's team started to move to the left.
The heterochromic teen noticed how they've been keeping their distance and staying on his left side, showing how perceptive the greenet can be. Unless he wants to freeze Iida, he can't use his ice if this keeps up; Kaminari's electricity is able to be blocked by Tokoyami; And, seeing as all his attempts to create a flat ice path to skate on towards Midoriya's team is immediately smashed by the greenet's Quirk, that was no longer a viable option.
「 That bastard...! 」 Shouto cursed internally, getting frustrated slowly.
「 Everyone, there's less time than a minute left. 」 Iida started, lowering himself as he readied himself to lunge into a run, 「 You won't be able to use me after this. 」
「 I'm counting on you! 」 Iida stated towards Shouto who called out his name in confusion, 「 Iida? 」
「 Hang on tight. 」 Iida cautioned his team, before telling Shouto, 「 Make sure you get it, Todoroki-kun. 」
Shouto couldn't say a word when Iida suddenly moved forward. 「 Torque Over-- 」Iida shouted. This time it was different, however, as Shouto watched them zoom past Midoriya's team in a matter of seconds. It was so fast that Shouto almost missed grabbing Midoriya's head band.
「 Reciproburst! 」
The abrupt halting, however, caused the heterochromic teen to tumble, almost falling off his team if it hadn't been for Yaoyorozu's quick reflexes catching him. Shouto could hear the crowd's screams muffled in the background as his gaze was stuck on Iida.
「 What was that? 」 He inquired quietly, still stunned, as he put Midoriya's headband around his neck.
Iida pants and heaves, taking a few moments to steady his breathing before explaining, 「 It was troublesome with the broken terrain, but still manageable. 」
「 By forcing the torque and rotations to increase, I created an explosion power. With the recoil, my engine stalls after a while, though. 」 stated Iida as his leg engines' started to emit smoke.
「 It's a secret move I hadn't told anyone in class yet. 」
Shouto then noticed Midoriya's gaze on them, the greenet clearly shocked, as Iida turned to his friend. 「 I told you, didn't I, Midoriya-kun? 」 Iida said with a smik, 「 That I'd challenge you. 」

The BoBoiBoy trio yelled out alongside the crowd at their spectacle friend. The incredible speed Tenya had was a sight to behold. Even though Izuku had made the ground uneven, Tenya had somehow found a path to get close and snatch the ten million points.
As they watch the scene in awe, Angin doesn't realize he's gliding them down until Tanah and Petir feel the ground on their feets. Tanah sighed, listening blankly to Petir and Angin bicker with each other, as he took the initiative to move towards where Izuku and Todoroki were.
However, Tanah skids to halt, his heart stopping for a moment, when purple eyes stare at him. And all of a sudden, he's back on the couch at Aizawa's apartment, piercing violet eyes glaring at him. His throat felt tight and it didn't register the indigo-haired general studies student—was saying something to them.
【 What are you— 】
【 What did you— 】
He heard Angin and Petir's voices, and then he felt them still. He glances at them, the two staring blankly at the indigo-haired guy with two headbands on his neck. What were they doing? Why are they not moving? Then, the indigo-haired guy's team starts to approach Tanah's.
Before they could do anything, Tanah swiftly stomps his foot and sends out an Earth Pillar to stop them. The earth element watches as the indigo-haired guy glares at him before it instantly shifts into confusion, then horror.
Tanah looked at his still unmoving fellow elements, then smacked his head backwards onto Angin's. The wind element yelped out in pain, falling backwards onto Petir who yelled out at him, almost dropping Angin.
【 What was that for?! 】 Petir yelled at the wind element who argued back, 【 I didn't do it on purpose! Something smacked my head! 】 yelled Angin back.
The two immediately stop arguing when they finally notice their leader's silence and anxious gaze. They followed it to see the indigo-haired guy. the two had seemed to have snapped out of it.
One minute left.

「 The tables have turned! Offense and defense right at the edge! 」 Present announced, the loud yells of the crowd muffling into the background for Izuku. 「 Reigning that in, Todoroki gets the ten million! And Midoriya is suddenly left with zero points! 」
「 Get back in there! 」 Izuku instructed his team to move forward, but Tokoyami was hesitant. 「 As long as they have Kaminari, we'll be at a disadvantage if we attack! 」 The raven head reminded as Dark Shadow continues to whimper.
「 Won't it be safer to try for other points right now? 」 Tokoyami suggested, however, Izuku instantly disagreed, 「 No! I don't know how the other points got split up! 」
「 This is our only chance! 」 He stated frantically.
Uraraka looked up at him before pushing her team forward. 「 All right! 」 exclaimed Uraraka, 「 We'll get it back, Deku-kun! We definitely will! 」
Surprised, Izuku stares at Uraraka, mouth agape. Then, he turns towards Hatsume, then Tokoyami and Dark Shadow. 「 That's right... It's not just me. 」 He thought to himself as he realizes, 「 The feelings of the three... who trust in me... 」
「 I'm carrying all that right now! 」
Izuku fires up One For All, suddenly recalling his training match with BoBoiBoy's wind element, Angin.

Izuku falls back, landing flat on his back, as he heaves heavily. Angin slowly lands down, smiling widely at the exhausted Izuku. 「 I think you should use your power long-distance wise more often. 」 The wind element remarked, stretching out a hand for him, as the greenet groaned in response before taking the brunet's hand.
Once he had gotten his bearings and steadied his breathing, Izuku repeated the advice he was given. Long-range, he could do that. After getting a grasp on how to circulate One For All in his body, Izuku has managed to using his fingers to shoot a somewhat powerful blast of air but it strains his fingers when he overuses it.
He'll be at a disadvantage when fighting long-range opponents in battle if he can't better control it.
「 Be more bold! Trust in yourself! 」 Angin continued to encourage the greenet. Izuku stayed silent, muttering to himself, as he recalled their training for the past few days. One particular move Angin had done intrigued him the most due to its similarity to Kacchan's overhead attack the blond used against him during the battle trail.
Some new tricks may help him out. 「 Can you teach me how to do that overhead move? 」 Izuku inquired.
Angin beams in excitement.

Presently, Izuku readies himself. 「 I'm going to jump, 」 He said, alarming his teammates, 「 Please be ready to catch me! Keep running till you get behind them! 」
His teammates were about to protest until they saw the determination in Izuku's eyes as he positioned himself to lunge towards Todoroki. They trust him, so they will follow him. The moment Todoroki notices Izuku readying himself to attack him, the greenet's team fast approaches. Izuku's overwhelmingly intense stare leaves Todoroki uneasy and unconsciously, his left side lets out a small brush of flames.
Then, Izuku jumps.
Todoroki quickly calls out for Yaoyorozu, who created a small cannon that shot a net towards Izuku. The greenet turns towards the incoming net, pointing his finger at it, before sending the net back towards Todoroki. The heterochromic teen preoccupied with discarding the net doesn't notice Izuku close in until the last minute.
Swiftly throwing the net aside, Todoroki put forward his left arm, ready to block Izuku's eventual attack except . . .
「 It's fine. Either way, I'm not gonna hit him. 」 Izuku tells himself, 「 Like cutting through air... break down the opponent's defenses! 」
Izuku kicks the space between them, sending Todoroki's left hand to the side. Todoroki's eyes trained on his left arm,「 My left... What am I...? 」 He inquired to himself in shock.
Yaoyorozu fired another net shot at Izuku who predicted the noirette's attack and flicked his finger downwards, dodging the net upwards as he went overhead the stunned heterochromic teen's team. Izuku ends up behind them, swinging his arm towards the headbands of Todoroki's neck.
「 He's turned them inside out to hide the point values, but that doesn't matter! 」 Izuku exclaims in his head, 「 I'll grab every single one of them if I have to! 」
Izuku grabs hold onto two of the headbands, before he was forced to retreat when Yaoyorozu created a pole that he narrowly dodge, falling back onto his team. He turns to them with a smile, grateful for them trusting in him and for catching him. Izuku looks at the headbands he retrieved, and his face falls.
He didn't get the ten million.
「 With just eleven seconds left, there's an angry retrieval here, too! 」 Present Mic exclaimed as the crowd roared in cheers, but Izuku was crestfallen.
Even with the combination of the 70 and 295, they won't make the rankings. This distress soon eases when he notices Todoroki's missing headband on his head. 「 I had hoped to get ten million points, but things don't always go as you wish. 」 Tokoyami spoke, making the greenet spin his head towards the raven head.
「 Even so, I got one. 」 Tokoyami points towards Dark Shadow who had Todoroki's 615 point headband. Izuku gives Tokoyami and Dark Shadow a thankful look, almost ready to burst into tears. This lands them in fourth now, they've made it!
Izuku then turns toward Todoroki who looked shaken up for some reason, Izuku was actually getting worried. 「 Todoroki-kun, get a hold of yourself! 」 Iida told the unresponsive heterochromic teen caressing and glaring at his left arm.
「 That was close! 」 Iida exclaimed as they took caution of Izuku's group.
「 Team Midoriya and Todoroki have now switched points! Todoroki with the ten million while Midoriya with 980 points! 」 Present Mic announced, the screams echoed the entire stadium.
Now, the next move for Izuku's team is if they will retrieve the ten million or retreat with the points they have. His teammates awaited his orders as Todoroki's ready themselves to defend if necessary.
「 Time's just about up! Start the countdown! 」Present Mic announced.

「 OUT OF MY WAY! 」 The BoBoiBoy trio made way for the incoming Bakugou, and at first, they thought he was going after them but were relieved when the spiky blond's team ran past them. Bakugou seemed to be more focused on getting the ten million.
The trio noticed the headbands around the spiky, they looked back towards Monoma's team and couldn't help but chuckle awkwardly at the chaos Bakugou left behind. But, they also notice other teams start running towards them.
Their preoccupied train of thought almost caused them to get their headbands stolen when the indigo-haired guy started attacking them again. 「 How did you do it, huh? 」 The indigo-haired teen probed.
Angin was about to ask him what he meant, however, Tanah was quick to smack the wind element using his head. Angin and Petir stared at him in confusion as Tanah shook his head. 【 Don't answer, 】 Tanah's eyes told them.
Questions fill their heads but they trust their leader so they'll ask them later. They kept their lips zipped, this irritated the indigo-haired guy. Soon, however, they were surrounded. They were now prey to the other teams.
「 Get them! 」
「 Give us our headbands back, you bastard! 」
「 I will make it! 」
Then an alarm blared, signaling the end of the match.
Everyone stilled, and the BoBoiBoy trio couldn't help but sigh out in relief. Who knows what would've happened if the game continued to prolong.
Angin quickly jumped off Tanah and Petir, running off to get his cap back from Midnight. Meanwhile, Petir watched the other students before curiously glancing at Tanah who was staring at the indigo-haired guy.
「 Now, let's take a look at the top four teams right away! 」 Present Mic's voice echoed, the crowd cheering as they stared at the screen displaying the rankings.
「 In first place, Team Todoroki! 」
Petir observed as Todoroki stared at the ground, then to his arm, then to Izuku. The lighting element didn't know what happened but judging from the heterochromic teen's peculiar behavior, Izuku must've riled him up. He couldn't help but smirk at the thought, optimistic at the idea of Izuku actually getting to his ex-friend(?)
From the corner of his eye, Petir then spots Momo waving at him with a smile. The gesture made the element flush pink as Petir quickly hid behind Tanah, who tilted his head at his fellow element before turning to see Momo looking at them, confused.
Upon realization, Tanah lets out a soft chuckle. 【 No need to be shy, Petir. Momo's our friend. 】 The earth element tried to reassure the embarrassed lighting element. 【 I'm not good at socializing. 】 Petir mumbled, showing no signs of moving from behind Tanah.
Tanah sighes, fondly patting the lighting element's head, before he waves back to Momo in Petir's stead. Meanwhile, Petir reaches the top of his head where the earth element had patted him, his face serene for a moment.
【 Why's Pet-Pet hiding behind you, Tanah? 】 Angin inquired, returning to them after getting his cap back from Midnight, as Petir shouts back with a flushed face, 【 I'm not hiding, you airhead! 】
Watching the two bicker, Tanah shakes his head but wears a smile on his face. The earth element then listens in to which teams will be advancing to the next round.
「 In second place, Team Bakugou! 」
The BoBoiBoy trio sweatdrop as they could hear the spiky blond's yell loud as day.
「 In third place, the one man team, Team BoBoiBoy! 」
【 Tsk. 】 Petir clicked his tongue at their placement. 【 We downgraded from second to third. 】 The lighting element remarked in annoyance.
Angin, on the other hand, had a more positive attitude to this result. 【 Hey! Look on the bright side! At least we got to show off some of our moves! 】 The wind element exclaimed gleefully.
「 And in fourth place is Team Midoriya! 」
「 I'm really sorry, you guys... 」 The trio overheard their greenet friend apologize. 「 We couldn't get the ten million back... 」 Izuku muttered, dejected.
Ochako tried to reassure Izuku, 「 It's alright, Deku-kun! You and Tokoyami-kun managed to get Todoroki-kun's points in the end, right? 」 She reminded him of their team's amazing feat.
Her statement reminded Izuku to formally thank his raven head teammates for his quick thinking.「 Thanks for that Tokoyami-kun. 」 Izuku bowed his head slightly to his classmate.
Tokoyami shook his head. 「 Todoroki was clearly shaken by your first attack. 」 The raven head said, not wanting all the credit for it, 「 I took the one on his head where his guard was the weakest. 」
「 Midoriya, this was thanks to the opening you created with your last spurt. 」 Tokoyami said with a smile, it warmed Izuku's heart with his words. Tears even threatened to spill but he couldn't do that now.
Izuku then turned to Hatsume, who was busying herself by fixing her jetpack. 「 And I'm sorry about your babies, Hatsume-san. 」 Izuku apologized, bowing his head, but the pinkette simply waved him off.
「 It's fine! I'll just have to make adjustments! But this was good! 」 Hatsume exclaimed with a wide smile, 「 You did a great job showing each one off! You have my thanks! 」
Not expecting quick forgiveness, Izuku awkwardly smiles back, 「 You're welcome then...? 」 Izuku replied, unsure.
While Tanah and Angin observed the others, Petir couldn't help but keep his eye on Todoroki. The heterochromic teen trained his gaze at Izuku, and Petir was wary of him. However, similarly to Todoroki, he also kept an eye on Bakugou who kept eyeing Todoroki.
That was seemingly it, but in a twist of events, another announcement was made. 「 Oh? What's this? 」 Present Mic feigned obliviousness, 「 There is actually going to be a fifth team advancing! 」
「 And the fifth place team is... Team Shinsou! 」
「 These five teams will advance to the final round! 」 Present Mic announced as the crowd went wild at the addition of another team.
The news surprised everyone, especially the said team leader, Shinsou. Tanah's eyes immediately flicker to the indigo-haired guy they had faced and find him shocked at the news of his advance.
「 Thanks for your hard work. 」 Tanah heard Shinsou say to his teammates, whose faces were previously blank and now looked confused.
Tanah watched the indigo-haired guy walk off.

They had an hour break before the continuation of the event's festivities. Angin had tagged along with Momo and Kyouka for lunch and excitedly made their way to the cafeteria. On their way, Angin sees his classmates.
A disappointed and slightly annoyed Tsuyu walked over to congratulate Mina for advancing with the pinkette, remarking how Bakugou had only let her join to use her against Todoroki's ice, doubting she was able to show off her skills effectively.
Meanwhile Ochako is betrayed by Tenya's withdrawal of knowledge of his special move to which the spectacled teen argued back at her, all the while Kaminari is giving them both thumbs up, the blond still dumbified.
「 I wanted to do something that could compete with Midoriya. 」 Tenya exclaimed, gesturing wildly as Ochako puffed her cheeks, 「 It's that manly thing, huh? 」 She said.
Angin couldn't help but chuckle at his classmates' shenanigans. Momo, finally wanting to voice her thoughts, called out to her brunet friend. 「 BoBoiBoy, I've been meaning to ask... 」 Angin turns to her.
「 Why are you still in your wind element? 」 She inquired.
Angin looked confused for a moment before it finally clicked. 「 Oh? Oh! I almost forgot! 」 Angin exclaimed as Kyouka muttered in bewilderment, 「 How could you forget...? 」
「 Tanah, Petir, let's fuse back-- 」 Angin cuts himself off when he turns and finds his fellow elements missing, 「 They're gone!! 」
「 Ehh?? Where'd they go? 」

Walking through the halls of the stadium, Hitoshi sighed a breath of relief. He cut it really close at the end there. What would he have done if the foriegn exchange student took his points? What would he have done if he didn't make it through the second round?
But he made it. Barely.
「 BoBoiBoy... 」 He recalled the foriegn exchange student's name, a peculiar name to call your child if you asked him. But this weird named brunet managed to escape his Quirk.
So how did BoBoiBoy do it? How did that earth BoBoiBoy escape his control? They were just duplicates, surely they have the same mind, right? or did his duplicates somehow have a separate consciousness? His head hurt just thinking about it. So many questions about the brunet's Quirk; so many questions about his own Quirk. He needed something to drink.
Remembering a vending machine stationed outside, Hitoshi made his way there. All the while, he tried to think of a strategy for the last round. He knows that someone in his group, if not all three of them, will spread the word about his brainwashing Quirk.
They always do.
They see something they believe is negative that affects them, they run off to tell someone about it. And then, that person will tell someone else, and then that person will tell another. A continuous cycle that will end with Hitoshi outcast as always.
This was his chance to show them they're wrong; his opportunity to achieve his dream. He won't let anything stand in his way. He can't.
He soon reached his destination, his steps faltering when he saw someone else there. His purple eyes locked onto his hazel ones, both teens were surprised to see each other. It was especially awkward since Hitoshi had already given away his Quirk to the other teen.
They both stay still for a moment, not knowing what to do now. Do they say something? Do they just leave? But Hitoshi doesn't have to be the one to make the first move as the other teen straightens up after grabbing the two drinks he got from the vending machine.
Glancing at the two sodas in his hand, the teen extends his arm and offers it to Hitoshi. 「 The machine accidentally gave me two, you can have it. 」 BoBoiBoy, who was still transformed as Tanah, said.
Suspicious, Hitoshi stared at the unopened can of soda, wary of the other's intention but the brunet took that as a notion that the indigo-haired teen didn't like the specific drink he got.
「 Sorry, it's probably not the drink you wanted. I can keep it. 」 BoBoiBoy muttered, he was about to take back the drink when Hitoshi swiftly snatches it from his hands.
He wasn't about to turn down the opportunity of a free drink, he didn't really care for what type it was. But he still finds it strange that the brunet was here too. Why wasn't he in the cafeteria with his friends? Why was he still using his Quirk?
Hitoshi cautiously opens his soda, taking a small sip to test if it was drugged or something before taking larger swigs. Meanwhile, he doesn't realize the brunet was still there until he leans back on the wall beside him.
Staring at the brunet, Hitoshi watched as, smiling at him, BoBoiBoy drank his soda quietly. 「 Why are you still here? 」 Hitoshi questioned, the brunet got his drink, so why stay?
「 Why not? 」 Replied BoBoiBoy, shrugging as the brunet sitting down a few inches away from the other, 「 I have company here too. 」
「 You think I'm company? 」 Hitoshi said incredulously, 「 Ha. Don't make me laugh. 」
「 What the hell do you want? 」 Hitoshi questioned, his voice growling out aggressively, as he glared at the still and quiet brunet.
His patience was running thin. Was BoBoiBoy here to try and pretend they're all buddy-buddy now? Was he here to mock Hitoshi for his Quirk? What does BoBoiBoy want from Hitoshi? The indigo-haired teen was tired of the questions. But the brunet's answer to those questions just raised more.
「 I'm sorry. 」 BoBoiBoy had finally said, keeping his gaze firmly on the indigo-haired guy's. Hitoshi was taken aback. 「 What? 」 He muttered, the previous aggression he had falling as he stared at the somber brunet.
「 During the cavalry battle, when we faced each other, my face showed horror. 」 BoBoiBoy started, staring down at his soda can in his hands, as he contemplated. 「 I saw your eyes and it frightened me... 」 He mumbled, his voice shaking, as he gripped his soda can tighter. 「 And I don't even know you, which makes it worse. 」
There was a small pause. BoBoiBoy taking a quick chug at his drink before continuing.
「 What I'm trying to say is... 」 He trails off, but Hitoshi finishes his thought.
「 You're sorry for being terrified of me? 」 Hitoshi inquired incredulously, his face showing his disbelief.
「 In a way, yeah... I'm sorry... 」 BoBoiBoy affirmed, looking up to face him when he apologized.
Hitoshi sighed. It's new to find someone actually apologizing to him for once. 「 It's whatever, I don't care. Used to that already. 」 He muttered, tearing his gaze away from the brunet. 「 People don't like getting controlled by someone else. 」
「 That doesn't make it okay! 」 BoBoiBoy yelled before his face flushed, not meaning to shout. It surprised Hitoshi to hear someone say that to him.
「 No. That's not it. 」 BoBoiBoy muttered as Hitoshi crossed his arms, nodding at the brunet to continue.
BoBoiBoy seemed hesitant but started. 「 Your eyes... or more specifically, the intense look you gave us back then reminded me of someone... 」
The brunet then wrapped his arms around himself, hugging himself to ease his nerves. 「 Someone not good... 」 BoBoiBoy explained meekly, face apologetic, 「 Guess, I'm still a bit paranoid about it... 」
「 The brainwashing wasn't the cause. 」 He stated, fidgeting with the now half-empty soda can, 「 Even though I've met someone who has a similar power, I know better to assume you're some sort of villain because of it. 」
「 Why don't you? 」 Hitoshi suddenly said, surprising the brunet and even himself, the indigo-haired teen hadn't meant to blurt that out but the words just kept spilling out. 「 I could brainwash you right now and make you forfeit the next round. 」 Hitoshi threatened, sizing up BoBoiBoy who's shocked expression turned into a blank one.
「 Why would you? 」 The brunet simply replied back, gesturing to himself as he was, again, still his earth element, 「 I'm still split into three, y'know? 」
Hitoshi clicked his tongue at that. 「 Why the hell are you still split anyway? You're just using up your Quirk. 」 He questioned the brunet.
「 Petir disappeared to who knows where, and Angin went with Momo and Kyouka. And I... 」 BoBoiBoy mumbled, taking a deep breath, 「 I just want to get some fresh air... away from everyone... 」
There was an awkward silence. Neither teen said anything as they stared at each other. BoBoiBoy soon breaks the silence. 「 I don't know what people said to you before, but you're so much more than what they said. 」 The brunet stated.
「 How would you know? 」 Hitoshi questioned him accusingly, 「 Everyone thinks so. You can't pretend you didn't either! 」 He yelled, jabbing his finger towards the stunned brunet.
「 I was born with a villainous Quirk! 」 Hitoshi shouted, his voice cracking, then pointed to himself, 「 I am a villain, end of story! 」
BoBoiBoy shook his head at that statement. 「 You can't be born with a villainous power, there is no good or bad power. 」 The brunet stated, giving the other a serious look, 「 It's what you do with your power that defines you. 」
「 But you've already proven you are much more than that. 」 He continued, smiling at the now surprised indigo-haired teen, 「 I mean you made it to the last round for heaven's sake! 」
「 By deceiving and manipulating others. 」 Hitoshi muttered quietly, but BoBoiBoy heard it.
「 So what? 」 BoBoiBoy remarked, his response was not at all what Hitoshi was expecting 「 The sports festival is a free-for-all at the end of the day. The teammates you had before will be your enemy come next round. 」
「 You're using your once in a lifetime opportunity to achieve your goal, how could I dishonor you for that? 」 For once, after his Quirk had manifested, Hitoshi believed in someone else's kind words. His chest clenched in a warm sensation as he stared at the brunet, stunned.
「 Y'know... people once called me a monster... 」 Hitoshi's eyes widened at BoBoiBoy's words.
「 When you have such an overwhelmingly powerful power in your hands, 」 BoBoiBoy said, looking up at the sky with a comtemplative expression on his face, 「 you're called a monster for accidents. For things you didn't even do. 」
Hitoshi watched the brunet take off his cap as BoBoiBoy turned to him with crestfallen look, 「 Called a freak because you have white streak in your hair... 」 The brunet mumbled.
「 If they call you a villain... 」 BoBoiBoy stated, running his hair through his hair, as he lean back against the wall, 「 ...then I'm nothing but a monster. 」
The two didn't say a word for a moment, until BoBoiBoy placed his cap back atop his head, offering the indigo-haired teen a reassuring smile. 「 But we aren't what they say we are. 」 BoBoiBoy said, a determined glint in his eyes that Hitoshi could clearly see.
「 We are so much more... 」 BoBoiBoy continued, grinning widely, as he exclaims, 「 and we'll prove it to them! 」
BoBoiBoy then starts to get up from the ground, finishing his soda, before he threw it into a bin. He turns towards Hitoshi, waving to him, 「 I'll see you around... uh... 」 BoBoiBoy trailed off, completely forgetting the indigo-haired teen's name.
「 Shinsou. 」 Hitoshi introduced himself, not sure what compelled him to do so, 「 Shinsou Hitoshi. 」
「 BoBoiBoy. But when I'm in this form, I'm Tanah. 」 The brunet introduced himself, stretching his hand out for a handshake. Hitoshi stared at the brunet's hand, before he took the other's hand. 「 Tanah...? 」 Hitoshi repeated, curious.
「 See you around, Shinsou-kun. 」 Tanah said, walking off to reunited with the other elements. Before he could turn the corner, however, Tanah halts for a moment, 「 Oh! And... 」
「 I believe you'd be an awesome hero, Shin-kun! 」 Tanah exclaimed, leaving a shocked Hitoshi behind.
Hitoshi stood still there, watching the brunet run off, as his brain tried to process what just happened. His mind replayed the nickname the brunet gave him out of nowhere. 「 He's weird... 」 Hitoshi said to himself out loud, feeling his face burn up.
BoBoiBoy was weird . . . but he seemed genuinely honest with him.

【 AAAHHHHH! WHY DID I CALL HIM SHIN-KUN?! 】 Tanah screams internally, not meaning to give the indigo-haired teen a nickname, as he buries his face in his hands, running away as quickly as possible.

The cafeteria was crowded. Angin, Momo, and Kyouka were wandering about in search of an unoccupied table when Kaminari and Mineta approached the two girls.
「 Hm? Did you need something? 」 Momo inquired, turning towards their two classmates as Kyouka glanced at them suspiciously and Angin tilted his head at them.
「 Well, I'm sure you already know since you're a class rep and all, 」 Mineta says, pointing at the cheerleaders, 「 but they said everyone has to wear those clothes to do a cheer battle in the afternoon. 」
Kyouka's face turned red instantly at the thought of wearing something like that, especially since she usually doesn't wear clothes like that. Momo, on the other hand, is skeptical whilst Angin is just plain on confused.
「 I don't hear anything about an event like that, though... 」 Momo said, not recalling any announcement of such a thing.
「 You don't have to believe me, but we heard from Aizawa-sensei. 」 Mineta continued, averting their gazes, as Kaminari nodded along with him, 「 I thought maybe you'd forgotten, so I'd tell you just in case. 」
The two girls exchanged looks, Momo looked pretty convinced and Kyouka was too embarrassed to say anything. The two boys snickered silently, believing that their lie had managed to go underway.
Angin didn't let this go underway.
「 Really? I would've known if that was the case, though. 」 Angin remarked, taking out his phone to check his notifications.
「 Well, Aizawa-sensei found us first so maybe that's why. 」 Mineta said, visibly sweating when Angin looked at him, unconvinced.
「 But we have each other's phone numbers. 」 Angin stated nonchalantly, earning confused looks from the girls and nervous ones from the boys. 「 If he had made a late announcement he needed to tell everyone, he would've texted me. 」
「 Actually, don't the class representatives have a group chat with the teachers, too? 」 Angin suddenly remembered, his inquiry was quickly confirmed by Momo's affirmative nod.
「 He probably assumed we didn't have our phones on us. 」 Kaminari tried to make up an excuse, but that only alerted the wind element more.
「 Huh? If that's the case then he definitely would've told me first, since he specifically told me to keep mine on my body just in case. 」 Angin said, the two girls now glaring at the two boys as suspicion starts to arise
「 How about I just call him now? Just to make sure. 」 Angin starts scrolling through his contacts as the two boys begin panicking, 「 There's really no need! 」
「 Oops! Too late– 」 Angin said, smiling at them mischievously, his eyes telling the two boys he knew what they were up to.
「 What? 」 Their teacher's voice echoed from the phone, his voice groggy as if he had just woken up, he did.
「 Hi, Aizawa-sensei! Sorry to wake you but I just wanted to clarify something with you! 」 Angin quickly greeted the man, apologizing for inconveniencing the man's sleep, as Aizawa grumbled in response.
「 Was there an announcement you forgot to tell the class? Like maybe something like cheerleading? 」 Angin asked, the other side becoming very quiet, as the element wondered if the man fell asleep.
「 Don't ever wake me up for nonsense. 」 Aizawa's voice said, his tone annoyed, 「 The next time you disturb my sleep, someone better be dying. 」 Angin quickly mutters an apology before the call cuts as Aizawa hangs up on him.
They were all silent for a moment . . .
「 So about that cheerleading lie... 」 Angin turned towards his classmates, Momo and Kyouka, glaring daggers at the two boys.

Petir followed Bakugou.
The lighting element had noticed the spiky blond trailing Izuku and Todoroki and he followed to make sure the blond didn't do anything. The blond was going to eavesdrop on Izuku and Todoroki's conversation and Petir came forward to stop him from overhearing something he shouldn't.
He grabs the Bakugou by the shoulder, making the said blond jump, before he turns to see Petir. 「 What the hell are you doing? 」 Bakugou whispered yells, not loud enough for anyone to hear, though.
Petir glares at him, tightening his grip on the other's shoulder. 「 I should be asking you that, Peeping Tom. 」 Bakugou growled at the element's words, grasping Petir's collar in retaliation. 「 None of you damn business, Two Face! 」
The two glared at each other, neither relinquishing their tight hold on the other. It looked like the two were about to get into a fight any second now. It wasn't until they heard Todoroki's words that they stopped.
「 Midoriya, are you... All Might's secret love child or something? 」

What the fuck??!
Petir and Bakugou instantly let each other go, trying to process what in the name of All Might they just heard.
「 The disrespect... 」 Petir suddenly whispered, causing Bakugou to turn to him. 「 Not only did he dishonor the All Might but he also disgraced Izukun's mom... 」 It took all of Bakugou's strength to prevent himself from exposing their presence as the blond choked upon hearing the lighting element's sudden statement.
Izuku, of course, tried to deny it but Todoroki was quick to note that there was some sort of connection between them. While Bakugou was thinking how stupid and outrageous Todoroki was being, Petir was mentally thinking of ways to berate Toshinori and Izuku for this almost accurate assumption made by Todoroki.
Then, Todoroki started talking about his father, Endeavor. How the Flame Hero was stuck as the number two hero for forever. The man who desired to rise in the world, winning a name for himself with crushing force. However, because of that, All Might being the living legend he is became a great eyesore for him.
They were getting into familiar territory for Petir now . . .
「 You've heard of Quirk marriages, right? 」
And with those set of words, Petir felt his stomach churn uncomfortably. He felt sick just hearing Todoroki repeat words similar to what Rei had told him.
Petir glanced at Bakugou to see the blond in stunned silence. The two stood side-by-side, listening to how Todoroki had been born just for a man's desire, both unable to move. They listened to Todoroki's angry resentment and own desire to not follow his father's wishes.
「 In my memories, my mother is always crying. 」 Todoroki said, holding his left hand up to his scarred face, 「 'Your left side is unsightly,' my mother said as she poured boiling water on me. 」
Izuku was stunned, shocked at the image of the heterochromic teen's abusive homelife.
「 Basically, I picked a fight with you to show him what I can do, without using my damn old man's Quirk... 」 Todoroki said, dropping his arm, as he stared at Izuku, 「 No... I'll reject him completely by winning first place without using it. 」
Before they could hear anything else, Petir grabbed hold of Bakugou's arm and started dragging him along. The blond pulled his arm back but followed the lightning element away from Izuku and Todoroki. They heard too much already. Even if Petir already knew, he still overstepped.
So they left.

Izuku stared at Todoroki's back as the heterochromic teen started leaving. His thoughts were a jumbled mess, Todoroki had given him so much personal private things that it was hard to process. It scared him how different Todoroki talked about the world. Even though they were aiming for the same thing, it was still different for them.
「 I don't care if you can't tell me how you're connected to All Might. 」 Todoroki said, never looking back, as he walked away. 「 No matter what you are to All Might, I will rise above you with just my right side. 」
「 Sorry for wasting your time. 」
Izuku stood still for a moment. What could he say to Todoroki after hearing of his backstory? Izuku thought to himself.
Without missing a beat, Izuku goes after Todoroki.「 I...! 」 He starts, making the heterochromic teen stop in his tracks and glance at the greenet, 「 I have always been supported by others. 」
「 That was the case earlier, too. 」 Izuku stated, staring at his right hand, as he recalled the people who were beside him during his journey, 「 I am here because of the people who have supported me. 」
「 Saving people with a fearless smile, the greatest hero—All Might. I want to be like him. 」 Izuku remarked, 「 In order to do that, I have to be strong enough to become number one. 」
The two stared at each other, Izuku looking at Todoroki with a determined expression. 「 My motivation might seem trivial compared to yours, but I can't lose, either. 」 The greenet said.
「 I want to live up to the hopes of those who supported me. 」 Izuku stated, clenching his fist, 「 That declaration of war you gave earlier—I'll return that. 」
「 I will beat you, too! 」 Izuku exclaimed.

The trio came crashing back together in the middle of a fork in the halls. Literally.
Angin had run around the halls in search for his fellow elements so they could fuse back, while Tanah and Petir were both making their way towards the cafeteria. The three weren't paying attention and eventually crashed into each other in the hall.
【 There you guys are! 】 Angin exclaimed in relief, hugging the other two elements. The wind element immediately suspected something was wrong the moment the two elements didn't react to his embrace.
【 Did something happen? 】 Angin asked, but received no response. 【 Tanah? Petir? 】
The two kept silent, as if they were still trying to process something, but Angin was getting impatient. 【 Why won't you two tell me anything? 】
Angin immediately shut up when Tanah and Petir simultaneously grabbed his hands. 【 Not here... 】 Petir muttered which alarmed Angin who quickly dragged the two towards the nearest restroom.
As they turn the corner, they jump back at the appearance of the last person they wanted to meet right now. Endeavor.
The man's flames burned intensely, and the glare he gave them only amplified their negative opinion on him. The man was clearly about to say something but Angin beat him to it. 「 Excuse us, sir! 」 The wind element said, rushing past the man who let them without another word.
The moment they entered the restroom, Angin was ready to fuse back and understand what happened. Tanah held his fist out first, Petir quickly followed suit, mumbling about something incoherently, and Angin swiftly bumped his fist on theirs.
Light engulfs them as they fuse back until the light disappears and BoBoiBoy is back.
Immediately, BoBoiBoy gripped the edge of the sink with one hand as he held his head with the other. His head ached as information floods him. His emotions were everywhere, from annoyed and embarrassed to disgusted and melancholic. He heaved and panted as he tried to clear his mind but images kept flashing at him.
It was too much. It hurt to think. He felt like throwing up. He needed to ease his mind.

The Cavalry Battle is finished! Time for the tournament! This was such a pain to write, I'm not looking forward at all to the next few chapters.
The OG trio got to interact with the class (+ Hitoshi) :D
I like Hitoshi's character a lot so expect him and Hatsume a bit more in the future!
Some light angst, but nothing too bad.
