A/N: I wrote this while I was in a psychiatric clinic for depression and anxiety January 24th - February 1st, 2013 . I had to deal with so many things and put myself into a new environment and it was frightening.
Who am I?
Why am I here?
Where do I go?
What happened?
You feel confused and confined
You question yourself and feel like you're loosing your mind
You sit and wait, Hoping for the wait to end
While the nurses watch you, waiting for wounds to Tend
They tell you "things get better", while you question why they should
What you wish happened, doesn't, while you sit and stew wishing it would
The meds numb the pain, but it can't take it away
Each doubt and fear lingers as your mind trys to keep them at bay
Then the meds kick in and you start to see clear
Suddenly going back to before becomes your greatest fear
Therapy helps you learn to cope
Inner strength builds, giving you some true hope
You grow a bond with people who are struggling for the same goal
A vision of healthy happiness, and to never feel empty, but feel whole
You may walk out better, you may not
But it's your choice, make a better one and you'll be in the right spot.
