It's the next day and Charlotte, me and my brother are studying on the couch
" okay, George has six times as many dimes as quarters in his piggy bank-" Charlotte starts to explain to us when we hear the door close, we turn to see Jasper arrives
" oh yeah! Oh yeah! I got two responses!" Jasper cheer as he goes over to us
" to what?" Henry asked
" my birthday party invitation" Jasper answers, " two guys said they might come"
" who?" Henry asked
Jasper look at his laptop
" Sidney Burnhaum and Oliver Pook" Jasper answers
I look disgusted
" ugh, those guys eat bugs?" I asked him
" so? They're people" Jasper argues
I glare at him, he looks at something
" when'd you get a new phone?" Jasper asked my brother as he picks it up

" oh uh, mine broke so.. What are you doing?" Henry asked
" you've got to get this new app" Jasper answers and starts to donwload whatever app he gonna use
" wait, what app?" Henry asked him
" hey, you never told us what you do at your new job" Charlotte said to my brother of the part-time job he wanted and got excepted

" oh, right right" Henry says then look back at us two
I rolled my eyes
" what do you do?" I asked him in annoyance
" I.." Henry starts to answer but Jasper has to but in the conversation

" oh great the app, tell me about the app" Henry says as Jasper goes to us and showing us it
" it plays a million sound effects, like school bell, cat choking on a hairball, ice cream truck" Jasper went on and on as he plays the sound effect
When we hear the ice cream truck noise we dance a little till it stops which was about two seconds later
" you have the brain of a hamster" Charlotte comments
" I wish" Jasper said
" give me my phone" Henry said as he takes his phone back
" hey, did you guys hear what Captain Man did yesterday?" Jasper asked us
I snap my fingers of the memory of the news from last night
" oh yeah! The Jandy Bridge" I said, " that was my dad's favorite bridge"
I could feel Henry looks at me confused and I just shrugged it off
" and so if you divide 9x by the square root--" Henry starts to say of going back of the homework
I take my phone out and show them the news, Charlotte and Jasper look over my shoulder
" they say he pulled seven people out of the river and saved their lives" Jasper reminds us
" yeah, and he has a new sidekick" Charlotte added, " there's a story about it on my news feed"
I went to that news feed Charlotte is talking about
" hey, let's talk about your birthday party" Henry said to Jasper but we shush him
I finally found out one article about them
" here, for the first time ever Captain Man was not working alone-" I start to read but we hear something smash, we turn to my brother to see a cup been smash
" whoa, how'd that break?" Henry asked us
We go back of the article
" according to witness on the scene Captian Man was heard calling his new sidekick ' Kid Danger'." I read but suddenly my phone got taken out my hands and got thrown to a wall, making it smash
We turn to my brother and I just knew he did it
" you just slapped my phone right out of my hand" I tell him
" yeah, sorry sorry, I'm just.. I'm worried you, Charlotte and I gotta study and I'm worried about Jasper's party and there's, I don't know, I just--" Henry starts to ramble
Suddenly something on his wrist like a watch or something like it starting to beep
" uh, why don't you guys go to the zoo?" Henry asked a random question
" why?" Charlotte asked
" you know I got banned from the zoo" Jasper said like it's obvious
The.. I'll just call it watch on Henry's wrist beeps again
" what is that?" I asked my brother as pointing to his wrist
" what, my thumb?" Henry asked me
" the bracelet that's beeping and flashing on your wrist?" I asked again
" uh, it's uh, a timer" Henry answers
" what are you timing?" Charlotte chimes in
" muffins" Henry answers
" you're making muffins?" Charlotte asked in disbelief
" birthday muffins" Henry said, pointing to Jasper
" yes!" Jasper cheers
" dang, there goes the surprise, I'll just turn this off, I'll just push the button" Henry said but put his wrist in his pocket which we can still hear and see it beeping
" it's still on" Jasper pointed out
" no it's not" Henry said
" we can see it flashing through your pants" Charlotte added
" and we can still hear it beeping" I pointed out
" I know" Henry said as he gets a pillow and try to cover his pants, " I uh... I need a pickle"
Henry runs out of the house and close the door
" wait! I thought we were gonna study!" Charlotte calls for him
" bring me back a pickle!" Jasper added
But it's to late, he probably couldn't hear us now
Charlotte and I turn to Jasper annoyed

It's later in the day and my little brother hasn't come back yet from whatever he's doing, Charlotte and I go to Jasper's place and go to the basement for the party to only see Jasper hitting two boy's belly
" wow" Charlotte said sarcasticly, that catch the three to turn to us, " cool party"
We go downstairs and go over to Jasper
" where's Henry?" Jasper asked us
I shrugged of not knowing where he is
Jasper decided to call my brother instead and I guess he answered
" you're late" Jasper reminds him
I couldn't really hear the other side of the line
" something more important than my birthday party?" Jasper asked, " but you promised me that--"
I sigh and take his phone and put it near my ear
" Henry, will you get your butt to this party? Cause so far it's just me, Charlotte, Jasper and two dorks that keeps slapping each other's boinks" I said in annoyance as I turn to the two dorks and seeing them doing it again
" I gotta go" Henry suddenly says
" Henry-!" I started to say but he hangs up
Ugh, this is why having a brother is difficult.
The three of us sitting on a couch, just waiting for people to show up or hopefully my brother if it's possible
" where's Henry?" Jasper asked me and Charlotte
I just sigh as I lean back of the couch with my arms folded
" I don't know" Charlotte answers, " but I bet he's having more fun than we are"
We turn to Oliver and Sidney who is doing weird things with cups connected to a string, finally Henry have arrive and we told him everything that happened
" they've been doing that for two hours" I finish explaining to my brother
" my party's a flop" Jasper suddenly says as he get off his couch, " I'm just gonna go upstairs and sit in my closet with my cat"
I was gonna say something until I hear a voice.. It can't be!.
" pardon me..."
The person goes down the steps to reveal themselves and it's not one and only famous Captain Man!
We are all starstrucked
" my man van broke down out there in the street so I walked into this house and came down to this basement" Captain Man explains
" holy chunks, you're.. You're Captain Man!" Jasper said excited
" thank you" Captain Man said as he goes over to us
" you're my hero!" Jasper said to him
" of course" Captain Man says
Charlotte goes to him
" um, I'm Charlotte, hi, Mr. Cap-Mapton Can--I mean" Charlotte starts to ramble because of the nervousness in her
" that's enough" Captain Man said to her
" I'm so sorry" Charlotte apologized
Henry then push me forward where Charlotte is and I just froze of not knowing what to say
" ah, you must be.. Faris" Captain Man said as we shake hands

I turn to my brother with a grin and turn back to my fave superhero, I did that about few times
" okay" Charlotte said as she pull me to the aside, Henry chuckles of my actions before
" and um, I'm Henry" Henry introduced himself as they shake hands

" hey Captain Man?" Jasper said, making him turn to Jasper and me to get out of my thoughts
" yes, a question" Captain Man asked
" can I hit you in the head with a baseball bat?" Jasper asked suddenly

" no no, it's okay" Captain Man said as he turns to us and as Jasper gets the bat, " but remember kids, never do this to anyone but Captain Man because regular people could be badly injured"
Jasper hit Captain Man's head with the baseball bat which surprise everyone and made me flinch a little
" wow!" Jasper said surprise
" I wasn't done talking" Captain Man points out
" did that hurt?" Charlotte asked him
" yeah" Captain Man answers, " but I'm okay"
We all clap for him
" well, I should call a tow truck to come pick up my man van" Captain Man decided
" or, it's my best friend Jasper'a birthday party" Henry suggested
Jasper quickly raps his arms around Captain Man's
" oh oh, yeah yeah, it is" Jasper said eagerly
" you can stay and party with us if you wanna" I suggested
He turns Jasper
" will there be soup?" Captain Man asked him
" I'll open a can" Jasper answers
" then I'd love to stay and party with you guys" Captain Man answers and we cheer
We hear Sidney and Oliver screaming into there cups, we turn to them weird it out
" uh, Captain Man" Henry says
" yes boy" Captain Man said, turning to my brother
" would it be cool if Jasper texted a few friends from school and told them you're here at his party?" Heney asked
" yeah, can I?" Jasper copies
" sure, I love being used" Captain Man answers
I look confused, I thought Henry doing this for his friend and not using him?.
" wow thanks! This is like the coolest thing that's ever happened to me" Jasper said as they shake hands again
" are your hands always this sweaty?" Captain Man asked him disgusted
" yes sir" Jasper answers
" he takes medicine for it" Henry mentioned
" well, it's not working" Captain Man said

It's later of the party and soon everyone from Jasper's contact come to the party after hearing who's here, I got an autograph and a pic with Captain Man on my phone
I still can't belive he knows my name before we met! Well.. Almost saying it right but who cares!.
People are dancing to the music and enjoying the party so far, afterwards Henry brought me upstairs and we baked a special surprise for Jasper
" hey.. Thanks for bringing our hero here" I mentioned as I take out the muffins and put it on the kitchen table
" no problem" Henry smiles
I give him the tray and I put some few candles on them, we walk down the stairs until Henry stops the top of it and turn to me
" oh, and I'm sorry if I over reacted yesterday" Henry apologized from yesterday
I smile at him
" nah, it's in the past, all forgiven" I said
We both chuckled and continue to walk down the stairs
" okay okay! Kill the lights" Henry calls out and someone turn off the lights which catch everyone turn to us
" happy happy happy birthday" I started to sing as Henry and I go down the stairs and to where Jasper and Charlotte are at
" happy happy happy birthday, everyone wants to wish you a happy birthday" we all sang, we clap after we finish singing the birthday song
" muffins?" Jasper smile at us
" yeah" Henry and I answers
" well, make a wish" Charlotte tells Jasper
All of the clamoring of agreeing
Jasper blow all the candles with no breathe pause in between which surprise Henry and I since he mostly does it
" okay, flip on the lights" Henry said to Charlotte and she does just that
" hey, where'd Captian Man go?" Jasper asked
We turn around and look to see he's not here anymore
" he's gone" Charlotte pointed out
" aw, why'd he leave?" Jasper asked dissapointed
" he probably had to go do superhero stuff" I answers
" and you did break a bat over his head" Henry added, I walk over to the two
" yeah" Jasper said, realizing it just now
" hey, if it makes you feel any better, me, Charlotte and Paris got you something" Henry said
I go over where Charlotte is and his present
" what?" Jasper asked excited
" look" Henry said
Jasper turns to us girls as we pull the barrel out
" you got me the bucket?" Jasper asked, he picks it up and hugs it
" it's a barrel" I corrected him for a thousand times
" will somebody turn on the music?" Charlotte asked, someone did and we start to dance again
I see Henry and Jasper hug which made me smile of the nice scene but Henry suddenly breaks the hug and run upstairs for something, I shake my head with a smile and turn to Jasper
" birthday boy!" I shout
Everyone cheer and the party continues
