NOT BEING IN CONTROL!
( emily hates when she isn't in control, she wants to be able to make her own decisions and be in control of her own life )
BEING ALONE!
( metaphorically and literally, emily hates being alone. she doesn't like the feeling of being alone, and she doesn't like the thoughts she gets when she's alone )
LOSING MORE FAMILY!
( even though emily doesn't have much family left, she still is scared of losing the remaining )
