Inside the office
After Evelyn's departure, the air in the office was very tensed as much as Amanda liked to calm down and restore her composure she couldn't just get over what has just occurred between her and Evelyn.
Amanda's POV
I can't accept it!!!! I can't !!!! she is wrong, she knows nothing about what really happened, knows nothing about me. She's just like everyone else, they all seemed interested at first and tries to console you showing they understand yet they taunt you once things gets ugly.
How many times I've heard those same words. But, did any of them bother to ask me for what I want, thay all just assume by mentioning what happened back then I'll agree to help them with whatever they need.
WELL BREAKING NEWS : I am fed up with people who are trying to climb up the ladder through me. Do they truly believe I'm this ignorant, don't they understand that I know exactly what they think of; they want the Wilson's backing and nothing else.
I thought I was over being disappointed by such a situations. So why am I reacting this strongly this time? I won't lie this time this Mrs. Pittman's word hit me close. It felt like I was suffocating while listening to her speaking.
Breathing deeply again this time I was able to calm down a bit. I looked from my lap where I was looking for the past half hour to my desk, signing I grab my phone looked at the clock seeing it was lunch time I know for one no work will be done with me in this state so I walked directly to the human resources department and asked for a half day leave.
Living the firm and getting in my car was all blurry to me but I kept myself together I can't risk breaking down before I get inside my apartment, my only zone of comfort for the past few years.
This time with a determined look in my eyes I set for my apartment.
Mrs. Pittman was it? I'll make sure to remember you
Evelyn's POV
I was looking out of the window as we drove silently for the past 10 minutes.
At this point the view has changed a lot since we started our journey. We have long passed the city and currently we're driving at its outskirts.
You can clearly make the difference between the lively view of the big city and this rural part of it. Contrary to the high buildings and busy streets, here there rarely appear a car on the road. Besides, the buildings were small and scattered all around the place. There were even some that appeared to be evaluated at some point, plus those that are very risky to live yet you could clearly see some signs there still some life in them.
all was too well until all of sudden the car that was before us abruptly stopped in the middle of the road. Not knowing what was going on, the chauffeur got out of the car to take a look at what happened.
I looked away from the window and followed the back of the driver to get a clearer look. It appears a group of men were running frankly all around the place looking for something or maybe someone. Anyway, as long as its not my business I'm not interested so I turned my face to my window again.
A few minutes later I've heard the door next to me from the other side open. Thinking it might be the driver, I turned to see what he may needs.
But to my surprise what I saw was out of my imagination. Between my eyes was what looked like the head of a gun, following the hand holding the gun I saw a young man in his early twenties. The man's face was a piece of art, even though I've been around a lot of handsome guys before, hell even my husband is handsome himself. Yet, there's something refreshing about this young man's looks.
His face was sculpted from jade, with a white translucent skin, a little sharp nose and small rosy petal like lips, big brown eyes with an attractive mole under his left eye and sharp jaw. His short black hair was in disarray and there was dirt all over his face, his face and even in his hair.
Yet what truly attract my attention was how deadly pale his skin appeared to be. His shopped lips that starts to loose their rosy collar and the red line in his eyes a clear sign of anemia as well as a heavy blood loss.
Looking down to his abdomen, my hypothesis was proven wright. There in his left side a big spot of fresh blood and judging by how much blood was sipping from his side and the clear signs of blood loss it was not a small wound.
No one's POV
Noticing Evelyn's eyes on his side, the stranger pressed the gun more firmly between her eyes and said：” I want you to stay silent and do everything I ask you to do if not one wrong movement from you and I'll won't hesitate to press down the trigger and destroy this little pretty head of yours"
Not wanting to anger the stranger before learning more about the situation she noded with her indicating that she accepted what he just asked her, you looking as though the stranger remembered something he added :" and before I forget ask that bodyguard of yours to not play any games with me if he as much as dared to lift on finger before I ask him to, he'll say bye bye to you am I clear? "
Lifting her eyebrow a little in amusement at the stranger's words but not to push her luck any further she nodded her head again.
Looking satisfied with her answer again, the stranger sat down completely and closed the door behind him and turned on the car's blinds.
After a few minutes the chauffeur returned to the car. However, once he saw the car blinds on he tensed up and wanted to grab his weapon but before he got it he stopped abruptly at the look Evelyn gave him.
She clearly wanted him to play along for now, and from what he saw so far she was not in any true danger for now. If anything her relaxed posture was a bit off.
Don't girls/women when met with a similar situation be all tensed up and scared they will die?
Regaing his composure, he continued his way and entred the car. Upon noticing his presence the stranger reoder him the same as he said to Evelyn before. He ordered after he took a piece of paper from his back pocket :" follow up the directions indicated on this paper and don't you dare to stop no matter what, if anyone asked about me deny you ever saw me. Also, raise the back cap (I don't know if this is how it called I'm talking about the glass that separates the front and back seats please imagine it to be black) and if you dare to play smart her life will be the price"
After a final look in Evelyn's direction, the driver nodded curtly then did as the stranger asked. Looking sideways, he can clearly make the shiver runing down the man's torso as much as he wanted to hide it.
Seting aside his curiosity for now he started the engine making his way as indicated in the small crumbled piece of paper.

Not long after their departure, a small group of burly and very well built men arrived where they were.
Looking all around the place for some clues on the man they were so desperately searching for since the morning. They still could not find anything which served to further enrage them more than anyone could imagine.
For only they know how sever the consequences will be if they failed to find him. After all, their employer was nothing but cruel and if anything he hates more it would be failure.
Seen as there were no signs of the said man they were about to leave, when suddenly one of the men noticed some blood spots on the floor besides them there were a trace of long line of a car's wheels.
No further discussions are needed as they know whose blood was that. They themselves injured him that morning when they were on the run and trying to catch him.
The one who apparently was the leader ordered for his men to bring their cars and follow the car traces on the raod. This time they will make sure that he could no longer run away.
