Suddenly a voice appears out of nowhere,
"Miss y/l/n do you need help finding your room?" Friday echoed in the hallway
"Yes, please Friday" you smiled at how convenient this will be,
Friday helps guide you to your room by using the lights at either side of the hallway, feeling like you were on an aeroplane. You finally arrive to your room, when you walk in it is dark, dark furniture and décor. You walk over to the bed and find an outfit laid out for you, black workout leggings and a t-shirt with the Avenger's symbol on the top left, cute you thought.
You explore the room, there is a desk, a big bed, side tables, a laptop, which reminds you, that you should probably get in contact with your family. When you opened the wardrobe, it was filled with training clothes, and new shoes, you checked the labels all in your size, both impressed and creeped out by the efficiency. There was en suite, with a waterfall shower and a sink with a mirror above it.
You thought that the room was nice, a little dark and too perfect but still you can't really complain. While looking at yourself in the mirror by the door to your room, it lights up, suddenly
"Anything I can help with y/n?"
"Anyway to get this place a little less gloomy Friday" you replied, the wall on the far side of the room disappears and you are met with a view of the outside training grounds and greenery, the window was the size of the entire wall. You looked down and saw Steve training with Bucky, you turned back into your room,
"Friday can we make it so no one can see in" the windows then tinted black, and you felt comfortable enough to finally get showered. The heat of the shower felt good against your skin, you kept turning up the heat up until there was a warning from Friday,
"Miss y/l/n, you are currently exceeding the recommended temperature for your shower, it may result in first degree burns"
"Can I override that setting?" I asked,
"Calling Tony Stark"
"No Friday, stop"
"Hello, y/n?"
Tony's face appeared in the bathroom mirror, you poked your head out of the shower door, thankfully the shower door had steamed up,
"Are you showering?" Tony asked, confused,
"Yes, I didn't mean to call you, I just asked if I could override the heat setting on the showers" y/n explained, you could hear some laughing in the background,
"Mr Stark... where are you?"
"I'm in a meeting with a few of the team, say hi!" Tony pans his phone round the room where Wanda, Nat, Yelena and Steve are all sitting, amused expressions on their faces.
"Can you please just let me turn up the temperature in the shower, Friday, hang up" you said hanging up, completely embarrassed.
As you went back to the shower it slowly started to get hotter, and hotter,
"Miss y/l/n, you are currently at the hottest temperature the showers can go" Friday informed, with that I continued showering. Once, I was done I grabbed a towel and put it around me before exiting the room.
Wanda POV
*Before the shower incident*
Stark had called us to the meeting room to discuss Y/n's and Yelena's training. He went over the details for each of our parts, I would help y/n control the emotional side of her fire powers and help her to navigate her flight as well. Natasha would help her with combat training.
"Onto Yelena, Cap... you will help her train" Stark said directing the last part at Steve.
"Pfft... me need help with combat training, please" Yelena scoffed, humour in her voice,
"It's more to show you how to work within a team setting Yelena" Tony quickly says back, clearly prepared for the response.
"Mr. Stark you have a call from Y/n"
"Answer it Friday"
"Hello, y/n?" Stark seemed confused by what he saw on the tablet,
"Are you showering?" At that comment, my cheeks flushed red, and I could see Natasha looking down trying to hide hers, Yelena and Steve tried to hold back their laughter,
Y/n explained that she didn't mean to call him, and that she was just trying to override the temperature settings in the shower. Yelena and Steve started to laugh a little bit louder and I think y/n knew that she was in more than Starks company, he then turned the phone round to the rest of the room, and I could see she was slightly embarrassed, ending the phone call quickly after.
"Well, that's one way to introduce yourself" Tony laughed,
"Okay, so we all good, Cap you train Yelena, Nat and Wanda the newbie" Tony then spins on his heels and leaves the room.
I turned towards Nat who was still quite flushed from the encounter, I asked if she wanted to help me make dinner,
"If you want two people starting fires in the compound I can help" Nat said laughing,
"Maybe not, I will get dinner started, should I ask y/n to join us?" I asked Nat,
"Well it would be rude if we didn't"
"I just don't want her to feel like she has too, she is so overwhelmed at the moment" I said reasoning with myself,
"Have you been in her head?" Nat says to me, eyebrows raised
"Only after she tried to kill Tony... and maybe when she was in the cell a bit too"
"Wanda... we have spoke about this, you can't just go poking around in people's heads" Nat said crossing her arms,
"I know, but it was beautiful... her mind I mean" I added, looking quickly away from Nat,
"Okay... I'm going to start y/n's training plan, you cook dinner" Nat said while leaving the room.

I made my way up to y/n's room to make sure she was okay, and to ask her if she wanted dinner, when I got there she wasn't in her room, it had been an hour since the she called from her shower, so I decided to wait. I looked around at the room, everything looked untouched, the laptop and clothes were where I left them, the bed didn't look like it had been used, suddenly someone comes through the bathroom door.
Y/N POV
"Oh woah, whoops... I didn't realise you would still be um well..." Wanda explained, gesturing to me but looking toward the wall.
"We were just on the phone..." you said confused, covering your body with the towel tightly,
"That was an hour ago y/n-"
"- I just came to see if you wanted to join us for dinner" Wanda said making her way towards the door,
"I don't think I am up for it tonight Wanda, but thank you for the offer" I said following her to the door,
"Anytime, if you need anything let me know" she winked and disappeared out of the door, I felt my cheeks blush red, and a spark coming out of my hand, the sudden jolt frightening me.

After Wanda left the room, I got into the clothes that were left out on the bed. I lay down for a while, stirring at the ceiling, thinking about all the events that had led up to this point. I was playing with a small ball of fire between my hands, while I thought about how much I was missing my family.
I looked over towards the laptop, contemplating whether or not to get in contact with them. Wondering what my sister was doing, if she had told our cousins that I was taken in the middle of the night, and if they had sent me my phone, its trivial but it's what I use to keep in contact with my family and friends... my friends... what a mess, and what a lot of explaining I am going to have to do if I turn on that laptop. While I was distracted thinking about home, a sudden knock to the door startled me and I forgot to catch the ball of fire that I had been playing with, it was sent to the other side of the room and hit the window,
"Are you okay?" Natasha came into the room, holding a tray of food, I looked towards her and where the ball of fire had hit the window,
"Oh god, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to, I got distracted and forgot to catch it"
"Do you normally just play with balls of fire?" Natasha said sarcastically, setting the food down at the desk,
I laughed and shook my head,
"What is that?" you pointed out,
"It is the dinner that Wanda made, she thought you might want something to eat" Natasha explained,
"That was thoughtful, and thank you for bringing it up for me, that was sweet of you" I said smiling towards her,
"Sweet, that is not something that people use to describe me often" she blushed,
"But I will leave you to enjoy" Natasha said, before I could reply she left through the door, did I just make the Black Widow blush? Another spark coming from my hands...
