The fall of human kind had begun already
How did I know? Well, it was right in front of me
From where I crouched, near the dumpsters in this narrow alley
I could see humanity struggling to survive.
The once quiet place of Arcton was now a gallery exhibiting the reality of the times.
There was no escaping the truth
What had been sown was to bloom
And now that it had bloomed, we must reap.
Maybe this is a manifestation
Maybe they are not what they are
Maybe they are our conscious troubles being illuminated by these creatures who roam in these once peaceful streets, devouring everything in their wake.
I fell with a crash.
My body unable to hold itself any longer
The impact of it made few drops of my life reach my face
I lay there in my misery
Blood continued to ooze out through my body, trying desperately to be with its remaining self, on that rough concrete ground.
I clenched on to what life remained inside of me with desperate helplessness.
Not long my vision became foggy and I lost control of my body and the pain started disappearing, maybe for infinity.
As I gazed at the once grey sky above me
All I could see was her beautiful face
Tears had shone in those brave blue eyes
My beautiful girl.
As long as you live, daddy lives with you.
The remaining life of mine now laid with me on the ground in a dark pool.
That is when I ceased resisting and it consumed me, casting me into a perpetual abyss of oblivion.

Do you think you can survive a zombie apocalypse?
