Kim Dokja POV:
great. another school year, another hell.
i've already talked to mom about not transferring me to another school, but she kept insisting and i couldn't say no to her.
it's been 3 years since the incident but she was still worrying about me, like i was her baby or some sort
3 years ago i was hospitalized due to severe injuries that i got from a bully at school, since then my mom had become a complete psycho when it comes to me getting bullied
there was one time when my classmate accidentally spilled her juice on me and my mom thought i was getting bullied, she went to my school the next day and filed a report to my classmate. she was a worry freak.
today is my first day of my new school and i am very excited.
...well kind of
i sighed, i didn't wanna go to another school because that just means more expenses to pay.
"kim dokja, aren't you excited to your new school?" my mom asked me, we were currently going through the gate of my new so called school and i could tell that it was expensive just by looking at the students.
"yes mom, but it would have been great if you didn't transfer me to another school i can manage those bullies" i said as she sighed,
"honey you know i dont want you getting hurt, that's why i transferred you to a private school. that way teachers can notice you and can call me if anything bad happens to you"
she was the real definition of a worry freak.
she saw me groaned and told me that it was for my own good
right. as if i can avoid getting bullied if i transferred new school
the car stopped and i slowly got off of my seat,
"i can't pick you up today hun, i have a business meeting with a client today. just call me if anything happens, k?" my mom said as she looked at me, waiting for an answer
"yes mom, im already an adult i can handle myself i don't need you babying me anymore" i reassured her, i knew she was still worried about me but she can't do anything because she knew what i said was true.
"ok...but please be safe" she said as before she drove off
i planned on skipping all my class, but this was my first day of school and i can't make a bad impression of myself
as i walked to the halls, i can hear people whispering and snickering behind me
"he must be the new exchange student"
"heh he doesn't look that bad"
"righttt!! it wouldn't be bad to have him as my boyfriend~"
those were the whispers i heard before i went inside the locker room
when i entered the locker room i was impressed by how organized it was, the books, the clothes, and other things were neatly piled.
private schools really are something, i thought to myself before i placed my books into my locker.
531 - kim dokja - class 1
after i placed all my things inside my locker, i proceeded to walk through the hallways,
before i reached the class i saw a bunch of students laughing as if it was their final day on earth, it was a creepy laugh
i just shrugged it off and went to my first class,
as i entered the classroom people were staring at me as if i was a movie star, i would be lying if i said it wasn't awkward.
i proceeded to walk through the bunch of chairs, trying to find a good seat.
as i sat on the chair near the class window, i felt someone behind me.
"you must be the new exchange student kim dokja, right?" a voice said behind me
i turned around and saw a brown haired woman smiling at me, her hair was tied up in a ponytail.
i doubted before answering,
"uhh..yes i am" i answered, she had a reassuring smile
im not really good at talking with people since i was home schooled until i was in highschool.
"don't worry, im not gonna do anything to you" the woman reassured as she introduced herself.
"im yoo sangah, im in the same class as you," she said as she shaked my hand,
"i hope we can be good friends in the future" is what she said before going back to her seat.
i just sat there dumbfounded, did i just make a friend?
i was gonna go and introduce myself to her but a woman came in,
"good morning everyone, this is your first day of school and im expecting you guys to behave, i hope you guys do not make a bad impression of yourself this school year" the woman said-to which im guessing our teacher,
"im gonna be taking attendance, say present if your here. im only repeating your name once so listen carefully. those who won't answer, ill mark them as absent, do i make myself clear?" she said as she placed her things in the teacher's desk
there were a bunch of "yes miss" and "yes" i heard before she started with the attendance
"jung heewon"
"present"
"kim dokja"
"present" i answered, she began calling other names
"lee jihye"
"present" a black hair woman answered that was 4 seats infront of me
"it's good to see you here miss jihye, infact this is the very first time i saw you on time" the teacher said as the woman-lee jihye blushed and hid her face
the teacher continued calling names, i really didn't pay attention to her at all
"yoo sangah"
"p-present!" she exclaimed, there was a hint of blush across her cheeks
"yoo jonghyuk"
yoo jonghyuk? i think i've heard that name before, i just can't get myself to remember
the teacher sighed, "as expected he's late again"
she then continued with the attendance until she was finished
"ok now that im done with the attendance, let's have a quick pop quiz today", the class groaned,
there were some people who complained about it, i mean you really can't blame them. it was the first day of school and answering a quiz,
"seriously? a quiz on the first day of school?!"
"ughhh this is the worst school year everrrr"
"welcome to hell"
"class quiet or i will add more questions to your quiz" the teacher said as the whole class became silent
"good." she said as she proceeded hand over some papers-to which i believe was the quiz.
"you have the maximum of 20 minutes to complete the quiz, good luck" she said as she sat on her chair.
the person infront of me handed me the quiz papers, i quickly snatched a test paper before passing it to the person behind me, yoo sangah
i looked at the test paper, and started answering the questions
the questions weren't really that hard, most of them were just topics from last school year
10 minutes later i finished answering it and decided to take a nap,
just then, the classroom door busted open making all the students, including myself look at the person at the door
it was a tall man with a black hair, i could feel the atmosphere rise up as he walk inside the classroom.
"master here! i saved you a seat!" a female voice shouted, it was the girl i assume who's lee jihye
master? is that some kind of his kink of something? i thought to myself laughing
i didn't realize that the man was staring at me, his cold eyes met mine
i felt a strange thing run down my spine, geez what a scary person
"yoo jonghyuk you're late, AGAIN" the teacher said, the man yoo jonghyuk just ignored her and sat beside lee jihye
i swear i could feel his aura even if he was so far back from me
i just didn't pay attention to it and went back to take a nap
