however, weirdly enough, Y/N did spend her whole day thinking about her

he was talking to this enforcer, kind of teasing her? the enforcer had blue hair, darker than Jinx's, and shorter as well
"could you believe it" Y/N muttered with a light chuckle as she took a few steps back, she bumped into... she bumped into a guy with a stick and a bad leg, she quickly recognized him
"Y/N?" asked the guy
"touch my hand" Y/N wanted to see if he was real

"shut up Viktor. you literally killed our parents trying to kill me." said Y/N

When Y/N arrived, Jinx was pacing around, she looked nervous
Y/N just walked straight to the couch past Jinx, when Jinx saw her, she rushed to her and once she sat down, Jinx sat on top of her with the intent to hug her

when Y/N didn't reciprocate the hug, Jinx spoke up
"I thought— when I came back— I thought something happened to you, where did you go? I was worried, are you okay?"
"My brother is alive" Y/N muttered

"I— I went to Piltover— just to see what the fancy people where on about... and I saw him"
"did he hurt you?" Jinx was fuming red
"no, and I know he was real, he touched my hand"
"he touched my hand Jinx" Y/N looked up to face Jinx
"he killed your parents on purpose, Y/N. Normally I'd say: 'he's your brother, it wasn't on purpose' but the thing is; it was on purpose"
"I know it's just... he seems— forget about it" said Y/N with a light chuckle
"no, what is it, Y/N? you know you can tell me anything" Jinx caressed her cheek

"what if he's doing all that to hurt you again?remember what Silco taught us" she tucked a strand of hair behind Y/N's ear

"well duh" Jinx rolled her eyes as she let herself fall besides Y/N
"anyhow, was your day better than mine?" asked Y/N as she let her head drop on Jinx's lap, as of tradition, Jinx started running her fingers through Y/N's hair

"actually no, we lost the shimmer because of me, and Silco told me I should take a break and 'focus on my gadgetry' " Jinx chuckled, but it sounded like a sad chuckle
"what happened?"
"I— there was this firelight, she had pink hair, I saw her again, and I froze up. she dropped her torch and burned it" she said, looking down, but not at Y/N
"hey, Vi was an idiot for leaving you, she should've stayed by your side. But y'know what?"

"it wasn't your fault that she felt, she chose to leave. It was wrong, definitely wrong. But you know who'll never, ever leave you?"
"who?" Jinx asked with a smile, she already knew what Y/N was about to say
"me" Y/N smiled
"I knew you where gonna say that" Jinx chuckled
"I know you knew, but it's true" Y/N shrugged
"Y/N! go to Silco's office!" yelled Sevika
"anyhow, Be right back" Y/N got up
"fine, I'll work on my monkey bombs" said Jinx

"hey Silco, you called me in?" Y/N asked as she closed the door behind her
"yeah, I did" Silco sounded frustrated
Y/N walked towards Silco and sat on top of his desk
"what'd you need?" asked Y/N
Silco handed her his shimmer-eye injector, Y/N got on top of him and injected his eye, Silco groaned, and Y/N sat back on the desk
"keep an eye on Jinx, Y/N. She's having a hard time letting her old self go. We lost the shimmer because she had a— breakdown, per say" Silco said
Y/N sighed
"I know, Silco. it's hard for her. I'm doing my best to help her. Not only to get rid of her old self, but she's going through a hard time"
"why?"
"Vi, it's no old news, but the way she left her... Vi was her world, it completely destroyed her" Y/N said as she fidgeted with a pen
"fine, just keep an eye out for her, okay?"
"okay" said Y/N
"anything else?" asked Y/N
"no, you're free to go" said Silco
