Chapter Eleven
You remembered the kiss.
But I knew you'd act like you didn't.
You merely didn't mention it.
Your house was small but cosy.
Your room was tiny but comfortable.
Your couch was just what I liked.
But you were the best.
I slept on the couch,
But you came and slept beside me,
Making my heart jump from my chest.
Walking to the cafe together,
While you filled in about your new course on science.
Your ambition to become a surgeon.
While I was too lost in those eyes.
You stared at me as though afraid of my sanity.
You finally sighed.
And bought up that incident.
You said the words.
Said the words I always wanted to hear.
"It was not a mistake."
That was enough to make me give you another small kiss,
While those crimson lips smiled after I let go.
You made me a promise.
Promised me that you will stand by me forever.
Holding my hand tightly
