Out and About
All I do is work
Barely see my
handsome boyfriend
or my amazing friends
Time to get out
Socialize,
and not just with
horses

Stopped at the jail
deputies and sheriff,
a look of shock on their face,
surprised to see me
Brody gave me a hug
and we walked around town,
he needed to do his job and
I accompanied him,
catching up like old friends
~~~~
Going to the bakery,
everyone greeted me with a smile,
thankfully not forgetting
who I was,
The best muffins in the country
baked fresh daily,
cheap for the citizens,
pretty penny for outsiders,
to keep the business afloat
Curiosity made me ask
what they were made of
and other pastries,
loving to bake

CG, as always, in her office
working hard on the newspaper
Admiring her work
before she noticed me,
giving her a muffin
How she does it all the time,
is beyond me
I applaud her for it
"Lunch one day?"
"I'll get back to you,"
she replied
Understanding, I left her be
~~~~~
Everyone else wasn't around
wondering where they could be,
"This is why you should get out more,
to know what happens in your town"
Lady spoke to me
I went to the magical waterfall
before meditating,
a change of scenery was nice,
refreshing too
Time to get out
