I'm kidding, acrylics aren't pain lmho. I'm just new to them and need to get used to painting, BUT IT'S SO CARAMELLING HARD LIKE HELLPPP —
I need to use them to paint for my art coursework though TvT
It's not bad, I like using them because it's very satisfying, for real, but I don't like the feeling of not knowing what I'm doing at all lmho — it's okay if you mess up because you can cover it up with more paint but still—

Here's the first piece I started working on. I'm gonna show the painting and have you guess what animal it is first though, because out of my whole family only my Dad and my Uncle got it right away XD

I took this photo while visiting the zoo with my family, plus one of my cousins' family and I have to say it was so hard because this cute li'l lynx refused to stay stiiillll I —
It's a Lynx :P
Their tails are so stubby and midget and weird, it looked hilarious when it finally got up and walked away ngl XDD

Anyway, I made this as an artist's copy (it's a thing we have to do as part of our coursework; try and replicate one of the pieces by the artist of your choice) this artist's work (Louise Luton):

Here's a painting for the same art coursework (Not the replica tho) but in the style of a different artist who uses watercolour (Eric Sweet) ^^. His replica was that colourful bird I might have published in a previous chapter but I'm not sure 🤔

Ehem, anyway, at first I was just doing the "happy" expression on a practicing expressions sheet that Emirichu did in one of her videos (I thought it'd be good practice lol) and then for some reason it turned into my whole chocolating persona what—

Anywho, so I drew the eczema-ish rashes on my face (I don't even know if you can tell), and even the random canine tooth I have growing too high in my mouth LMHOO. An of course, can't forget the gap I have between my two front teeth O-O . And then even tried to incorporate my huge nose by rising the nose-bridge ( which I usually add at different heights for different characters) a little I guess. Is it even noticeable? XP
And of course, the blue scarf represents bluueeberriiieeezzzz (I know, I'm so creative, you don't have to cwy 🥺) and then made a cookie clip with blueberries and a leaf that are barely noticeable onto its design—
