Chris,
I pulled the covers off of me stretching. I turned over looking at the time on my dresser; 1:36. I hopped up and went in the restroom. I cut on the shower and picked out some clothes.

"Good morning ma, did I get any mai-",
"Ma what you doing.", I said once I realized she was hiding something from me.
"Good morning baby.", she said balling up something and throwing it away, which she missed.
"Why you up so late.", she asked.
"What you throw away?", I asked curiously.
"Oh nothing just another bill. You have basketball practice today at 4 so go get ready.", she said.
"Mom its Saturday.", I stated.
"Oh Chris stop taunting me and mind your business.", she yelled.
"You know what, this discussion is irrelevant. I'm hungry so I'll be in the kitchen.", I responded.
I walked to the kitchen and she walked up stairs. I waited until I heard her door closed to move. I heard her door close so I rushed over to the garbage and picked up the crumpled piece of paper from off the floor. I opened it and read the letter.
It read: Greetings Christopher Brown. We recently received a tape of you singing and we would gladly like you to work with us. You can call the number below if you're interested. Thank you.
Why would she hide an opportunity like this from me?
I saved the number in my phone and put it back the way I found it.
I felt my phone buzz against my lap. I pulled it out my pocket walking up to my room checking the message.
Get here quick. Y'all have got to see this.
My bae- I mean Ronnie texted. Why the hell am I thinking about her. When the truth comes out, its not gonna be pretty but I can't help what I feel.
"I'm out.", yelled up to my mom. I hope she heard me cus I don't feel like walking up there.
I put on my shoes and got my car keys. I ran out to the car, hopped in and drove off.
Short but I'm updating again today so don't worry.
What's the news tho. And Chris got accepted.
