Alex's POV
It was August and Rosalie and Alice threw me a baby shower. They invited everyone the Clearwaters, the Blacks, Angela, Ben, Cora, and of course my dad. I received toys, clothes, diapers, bottles, pacifiers, and I got a breast pump.
Rosalie and Alice had instructed everyone to wear pink or blue to represent what gender they wanted. Rose and Alice even joined in. The ones who wore blue were Ben, my dad, Emmett, Jasper, Rosalie, Carlisle, Billy, Harry, and Seth. The ones who wore pink were Alice, Angela, Esme, Cora, Leah, Edward, Jacob, Rebecca, and Rachel (the twins were visiting for the summer). I wore white to represent my neutrality in the genders. I didn't care, I'd love my twins unconditionally boys or girls or both.
I was in charge of cutting the cakes, the color would be what the gender was.

It was pink! Everyone cheered(but the ones who wanted a girl cheered louder)

"We're having girls!" I exclaimed happily Edward and Jake engulfed me into a hug. We ate cake and Sue and Billy proceeded to give me tips on how to take care of my girls. I sat in between Edward and Jake.
It was a happy day, and Bella couldn't ruin it for anything because she went to Arizona to visit Phil and Renee. Most of my anxiety had left me and I almost reverted back to the innocent happy go lucky girl that I was before. I'd never truly be the same, but I was happier and safe here in Forks, my home.
And nothing could change or stop it, at least I don't think anything could, right?
