I woke up today remembering it was April fool's day, and that it was time to prank Maka. It was only Five in the morning, so she couldn't be awake. I got up and made a drink concoction of death. Mustard, hot sauce, fry grease, and tomato juice. Then I labeled it.

I got up to see it was only five thirty, and I had just enough time to get ready for school. I got dressed and headed out of my room to go eat some food. I opened the fridge to find an energy drink labeled To Maka I hope you don't die from the jolt of energy you'll get!
What was that supposed to mean? I took the bottle and drank a sip. Water. I Need Water. Heck Soul what did you do? This isn't an energy drink at all, and then it hit me. It's April fool's day. That jerk! He doesn't know who he's messing with. I went to the fosset and turned the water on, but nothing came out. Then I saw a note on the counter.
Dear Soul Eater Evans and Maka Albarn,
I am sorry to inform you that the water has been shut off for the day for maintenance. We're sorry for the inconvenience.

Crap. Soul, this is not funny. You're gonna get it! I will Maka chop you so hard, you will have to get stitches.

I saw Maka come in the classroom, and man she looked mad. She sat down next to me and wiped the anger off of her face.
"So Soul, guess what happened today? I found out I'm allergic to mustard! I had to go to the hospital so they could give me a medication to stop the throat from completely swelling! And guess who has to pay? You!"
Ugh, this backfired quickly.
"Maka I hate you. I never want to spend a second with you ever again. I just hate you so much."
She looked hurt, but once she put the pieces together, she would be happier.
"Soul, why?" And she ran for the door to go back home.
"April fools Maka!" I yelled as she approached the door.
I followed her back home, and I opened the door to find her tapping her foot impatiently by the door.
"What did I do? Am I really that bad? What's wrong with me?"
"Heh I thought you would be smarter than this." I said as I walked to my room. Ha, I can't believe it's taking her so long to get it. "You'll figure it out eventually."

I don't know why Soul hates me, I just don't know. What did I do? I cry into my pillow. Maybe he likes other girls more. I sob more, and then I think about what he said.
"You'll figure it out eventually."
What's that supposed to mean?
What do I have to figure out?
Okay, it's April fools day... and that means we play jokes, like saying the opposite of what we're really saying. So that means he really said,
"Maka I love you. I want to spend every second with you. I love you so much."
Is that what he meant? I go knock on his door and say,
"I hate you too."
