You sat the glass down with a clink, since you were the only one home besides your boyfriend, you had to clean the dishes. Deimos had immediately argued against it and insisted you do it, claiming that he "couldn't clean dishes". You had so badly wanted to yell "liar" at him, but decided against it. You reached for a plate and began to rinse it. Thunder boomed outside and lightning lit up the window, a storm, great. Sanford and Hank better get their asses back home soon before they get soaked like the dishes. You finished cleaning the last plate and packed it away. Sighing, you walked over to the couch and sat down. After a couple of minutes, you noticed Deimos wasn't here. Strange, he'd usually wait for you to finish with the dishes and then begin to drown you in affection, cuddling and kissing you until you playfully shoved him away or until you started to kiss him back, then he'd get all flustered and shy, which was adorable. You thought about it, where could he be? Then it hit you, Deimos despised thunderstorms. He was terrified of them. He hated the sudden flashing lights and loud noises, if anything, he would be hiding in his room. You stood up and walked down the hall to Deimos's room, it was quiet. You knocked on the door "Baby, are you in there?" You called. No response. You pushed open the door and you were immediately greeted by a whimper from under the bed. You knelt down to see a terrified and upset Deimos hiding under it, curled up in a ball, looking terrified. You sighed as you crawled under with him. "Sweetie, it's okay" you whispered. Deimos looked over at you. "I hate thunderstorms" he whispered, tears brimming in his eyes. You pulled him into you "It's okay honey, I'm here" you said softly. He snuggled into your chest as you kissed his neck and face. "I've got you my dear" you whispered. Deimos kissed you back and began to drift off, you were falling asleep too. The distant thunder was oddly relaxing, and Deimos was like a heater. So comfy down here, you could stay like this forever
