Today's my birthday! Happy eighteenth birthday to me. I logged in on Facebook and all my friends wished me a great birthday. Thank y'all. I planned on throwing a party at a hotel and my mom agreed to it, she paid for everything and said that she'll make it up to me for she can't come. I don't want her here anyways.
"So you're having a party at Marriott hotel plaza?" Samantha asked as we were writing down scrips for a play.
"Yep, bring whoever you want, actually, help me out spreading the news," I wrote down a word.
"You're sick Khalia! It's like you're a daughter of a famous person," I stiffened as Daniel mentioned a famous person, I let out a nervous chuckle and hope that I wasn't obvious.
"Bring whoever? I'll bring the campus to you babe," Richard piped in as he was polishing the lens of a DSLR camera. "Yo! Ajax man! Come over here for a sec," he called out to the other side of the room. Ajax paused what he was doing and meandered over to our group.
"What's up man?" He asked and they did this fist pump bro handshake as I watched.
"Yo! Khalia is having a huge party at Marriott's tonight, her eighteenth birthday so help everyone get there.
"It's your birthday!? Oh happy birthday baby! I'll get you a gift as soon as possible, didn't remind me!" Ajax pulled me up my sit and gave me a peck on the lips then hugged me, it felt like nothing though, just a friendly kiss, not like Mason's.
"Thanks," I grinned at him then he throttle back to his group and every single one looked at me and rushed over, giving me hugs and greetings.

Lunch, me Samantha and Yasmin sat on outer usual spot as both girls look out for guys exiting the building.
"Rumor mill has it that Mason got it bad for you," Yasmin popped a grape on his mouth a smirked at me.
"Well rumor mill is wrong," I cut a piece of my lasagna and chewed on it.
"How'd you get a hotel for your party?" Samantha asked, oh shit. Uhm... My mom is a director and a multi-millionaire and she rent out a hotel for me.
"Oh... Uhm, my dad. Remember? He owns an estate in Texas?" I choke on a laugh. My head is screaming 'liar, liar pants on fire' and I felt guilty for a second.
"Right! I wish my dad has an estate or a compound," Yasmin sighed. Samantha agreed with her and they started talking about it for at least 15 minutes. A hoard of guys stepped out the building and paused beside me.
"Hey! You're Khalia right?" The guy in the front with dirty blonde hair asked, I nodded and he smiled widely. "Cool! Happy birthday! Party tonight at Marriott's right?" I nodded again. "Awesome! See ya later!" He smirked then started to walk away.
Later," I said after them. Samantha and Yasmin froze like time stopped with there mouth hanging open.
"Oh. Mi. Gawd. Khalia! Do you know who that is?!?" Yasmin shrilled.
"If she knows she'll be freaking out smart ass!" Samantha retorted.
"Yeah, I don't really-" and she cut me off. I bit my tongue to hold off the snarky remark I'm about to say because she always do that.
"That was the football team! And the guy who talked to you is the football captain! Jeff Calvin! You lucky bitch! He only talks to senior/pretty/popular/hot girls! And wherever they go, the crowd follows!" She said freaking out.
"Oh...Kay then..." I said awkwardly because I don't really care if he's a football player, I only care about the people who'll attend my party. Not to be selfish or anything. My phone dinged and I saw a text from 'the king if the jerks' as I called him in my contacts, I haven't had the chance to change his name yet and I'm planning on it soon.
'Up for an adventure;)' I read the text and it said that.
'Sure?:$' I replied. I wonder what he have in his very imaginative brain. My phone brought me back from my daydream when it dinged.
'Look to your left and ull find a pink post it, find all 12 then look for me;) come and find me:*' Mason sent me and I was grinning from ear to ear. This is so sweet and romantic! I snapped my head to the left and there really was a pink post it sticking on the brick. I scooted over to take it and it says 'Hey beautiful;) 11 more:)' my smile was uncontrollable and both my friends noticed it.
"What's up with you Khalia?" Samantha peered up behind my shoulders and read the sticky note. "Ooooooh! Who is it from?" I didn't answer her because I can't talk, all I can do is smile. I snatched my purse off the steps and spotted a yellow shit stuck on a black bag from a distance. "Khalia! Where are you going?" She and Yasmin trailed behind me as I walked up to get the yellow sheet.
10 colored post its with cute messages later.
"This is so cute! Who is behind this Khalia?" Yasmin asked, I grabbed a green post it from the trunk of a tree an it says 'getting hotter babe;) 10/12' I bit my bottom lip to help myself from grinning ear to ear.
"You'll see," I answered Yasmin's question. Then I saw a blue piece of paper on the bench I usually sit on when I don't have classes to do my homework an I rushed over to, my friends ran behind me as they were just going along. 'Turn around:)11/12' is what was written on the sticky note, Samantha and Yasmin were beside me as they look at it. We all turned the same time to find Mason who was holding a yellow paper and a bouquet of specially arranged white roses. I snatched the note off him and read it. 'You found me;) HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Babe!' I kissed him on the lips as he held my hips with his free hand, we caught attention and the crowd around us were awing and talking about how cute we are and how Mason finally settled with one girl but the truth is were not even dating. I pulled back and Mason has his usual smirk planted on his face, handing me the flowers.
"Happy birthday babe," he repeated and fished something from his pockets.
"Damn gurl! That boy is a goner! He is dead over you," Samantha whispered closely. I nudged her by the ribs and waited for Mason as he pull something out. A Tiffany&co. pouch rested on his hands as he grabbed my wrist. He took out the content an inside was a bracelet with a heart shaped pendant. My mouth hung open as I look at it.
"Oh. My. God!" Yasmin said shocked, "Are you kidding me!?" She added.
"That's so sweet!" A girl squealed. I stared at the metal on my arm and looked at Mason.
"You didn't have to get me this," I waved my wrist in front his face but he just grinned.
"It's your birthday, of course I had to, you're special," he pressed closer to me as he whisper and nuzzle my neck in front of the audience.
"Thank you," I pulled him off my neck to kiss him again fiercely. Maybe I was the goner.

Half the campus came to my party and everyone was having a great time. Samantha and Yasmin were being my sidekicks for tonight 'till Mason came and took me away from them.
"Hey Khalia!" Leighton appeared in front of me with her brother trailing behind. I was holding Mason's hand and Killeen's eyes followed it down our arms, a frown appears on his face. He didn't even approach me today, nada! Like there's no Khalia Drake and it's nobody's birthday today.
"Leigh! Where's Craig? I thought you're coming with him?" I asked her.
"Sorry, he can't, he has this project going on and I was gonna help him with it but tonight's my best friends birthday and I wouldn't want to miss it," Leighton was grinning.
"Happy birthday Khalia," Killeen plainly said. He never calls me 'Khali bear' anymore and that sting my heart, shuffling towards me, he gave me a brief light touch hug and pulled away instantly. What the hell is his problem?
"Well just find us by the bar," I told both of them and referred me and Mason as 'us', Leighton gave me a thumbs up with a huge smile plastered on her face while Killeen'a frown deepens. Whatever! I don't care about him anymore. I tugged on Mason and he obediently followed. I asked for shots of tequila and when the bartender served it in front of me, I shot it straight down.
"Damn babe! That looked hot," I need to drink my Killeen problems away and I was starting to forget about him on my third shot. Mason got a beer and he stared at me lustily as he gulp it down.
"What?" I started feeling tipsy but not drunk yet, all giggly for no apparent reason.
"We should go dance princess," Mason finished his bottle and pulled me off the stool towards the dance floor. The music was upbeat and everyone around us were dancing explicitly like there's no tomorrow. I started dancing with the beat as Mason held my waist from behind and kiss my neck softly. I was still giggling because of the alcohol I consumed. "You're so hot baby," he said it and I grind against him, he gripped my waist tightly. Mason turned me around to face him and caught my lips, he tasted like beer but I didn't pull away, "I can't wait any longer Khalia, my patience is running low," he murmured in a husky voice as his hands travel down my bum.
"Too bad you'll have to," I pressed closer to him and he deepens the kiss, tongues moving together.
"Please babe, I just can't help myself anymore, I really want you bad, now!" He begged, I bit his bottom lip and tug it out slightly, he grasped my ass and groaned. Oh god! He's so hot and I want him too but that's not happening tonight. He led me towards a clear space and pressed me up against the wall. No one even noticed us. I hopped up on him as I straddled his waist, wrapping my arms around his neck and pulling him close even though there's no more open space between us.
"Mason Hunter..." My voice was seductive as I whispered it to his ears. His lips went down to my jaw then neck, his hands skimmed my legs as I was pressed on the wall. I whimpered, pressing my lips to his and he was touching me all over the place like trying to memorize me. He let out a throaty groan as our tongue tied up together. I felt his fingers lingering on the edge of my lace panties and I winced, curious of what he's going to do.
Still no one noticed us making out by the wall 'till Killeen.
"Khalia? Khalia! Dude get off her!" Killeen pulled Mason away and I almost fell flat on my ass if I haven't jump and regain my balance.
"What the fuck man!" Mason retorted seizing up my best friends brother.
"What! You wanna go! You wanna go! Meet me outside! Lets settle this man to man," Killeen sneered and I look at him weird.
"What the hell Killeen! Why'd you do that! I almost fell." Killeen's heated gaze moved over to me and I regret saying what I said. People started gathering around as they await for a fight to happen.
"I thought he was raping you," his jaw clenched as he spoke.
"Raping me? In front of everyone? If he was planning on raping me, he would've dragged me to one of the rooms up stairs then do it, and I wasn't screaming for help did I?" Thus is ridiculous in many ways! He thought Mason was raping me? Why would he care when all he did fur the past few weeks was ignore my existence.
"I'm right here you know!" Mason piped in and I glowered down at him.
"Well he was pressed up against the wall with you so I assume-" Killeen started. He's been so inconsistent lately, sometimes he's cold and not care about me then he's hot where he is all Khalia needs me and I better check up on her. Ugh! Boys are so weird!
"Dude! Didn't you see her legs or are you just that blind?" Mason stated and I nudged him by the arms to stop talking about my legs but he didn't. "She was straddling me so look carefully before you interrupt something," Mason added. Killeen's fist clenched and he took a swing by Mason's jaw. That perfect jaw, no one touches that jaw though.
"Killeen! What the hell is your problem! Stop!" I placed my hands on Mason's bruised up jaw and asked for an ice pack immediately.
"My problem is he's only using you Khalia! I hope you realize that because he only wants one thing from you then he'll toss you away! Like an old toy! I don't want you to get hurt Khali, he will leave you," all he said might be true and everyone was silent, the only sound was the song bring played.
"Son of a bitch! I care about her you asshole! Don't even talk like that because I'm not using her!" Mason erupted angrily and he punched Killeen by the eye. When Killeen was about to punch him back, I stopped him.
"Killeen stop! Just leave," He started towards me but I back a step away, "go Kill," His words circled around my head and I want to say everything will be fine but a part of me knew that it might be true.
