I was on campus today
with nothing but the urge to cry;
my mouth tasted of metal and copper,
I kept biting my cheek,
hoping to bide my time.
I was on campus today
with nothing but the sudden
overwhelming urge to cry,
can't say it felt great.
I just kept pretending
something entered my eyes.
Let's blame the December wind for that.
