Working days on the dock are hard, long, and exhausting. And for only 15.50 an hour! But it's one of the best jobs I could get. I couldn't even get it myself I needed Rafe to help me get this job. The name Routlage wasn't the most popular around these days. Damn it John b
"Slacking again are we?" I heard JJ annoying voice call from behind me. He was right I was doing the bare minimum I looked over my shoulder and glared at him cockily walking towards me
"How goes it cupcake" he asked I rolled my eyes I hated it when he calls me that
"Not that it's any of your business, but it's going great" I said turning back to the boat I was tying to the dock I quickly finished then stood up pushing a lock of blonde hair out of my face
"Wonderful. Oh how's my day you ask? Well it's going great. Got a huge tip from Kaylas mom." He said I scoffed
"Who the fuck is Kayla" I asked he shrugged
"Nobody I used to go to school with her." He said simply leaning against the boat next to me. I flinched at his closeness I glanced up at him. Shit why does he have to be so fucking hot?
"Oh don't tell Kie about it, she might be jealous" I said he rolled his eyes him and Kie have been dating ever since we graduated high school I was here for the last four months of senior year and those months were some of the best months of my life. One snd a half years later and here we are still bickering over the smallest things
"She wouldn't care. She'll be happy, more weed." He said I glared at him
"Are you not going to help her pay the bills?"I asked he groaned
"Fuck the bills" he said I laughed lightly as I pulled my hair back into a lose ponytail.
"Why do you get the nice boats, all I get are the old fishing boats that don't have anything good on them." He said a fake pout spreading across his lips I smiled lightly and walked past him.
"Because they know I'm not a thief." I said into his ear as I walked past him he scoffed We both knew that was a big fat lie. I've been arrested several times for stealing but I've gotten much better and more Deseret about it than JJ is he just doest learn at all.
Another kook was pulling up to the dock I sighed and checked the watch on my wrist that barely still worked it was three in the afternoon I get out at four thank god.
I smiled when I recognized the boat and then man standing on it a smile spread across my face and I waved and he waved back a slight smile on his lips. It was Rafe the love of my life. He tossed me the road and I tied to boat to the dock he jumped off and grabbed me from behind by my waist and pulled me close to hip I stood up and he leaned into my ear
"I haven't seen you all day darling" he said caressing my neck with his lips I smiled as I reached my hand back holding his head close to me.
" I've missed you" I said I felt him smile and a deep chuckle rumbled out of his chest. He spun me around and his lips touched gently, teasingly against mine his hands pressed on my lower back into him my arms lazily around his shoulders. The kiss gradually grew more intense his Jada gradually wandering down to my denim shorts my nails gently dragged down his chest leaving white lines on his bare chest his unbuttoned shirt blew in the soft breeze.
"Your going to get me fired" I said giggling as his lips tickled my jawline.
"fuck your job I'll pay the damn bills" he whispered gently as he pushed me against his boat and pulled my hair roughly out of the ponytail it was tied up into. His tong traced the inside of my lips.
"Rafe I'm serious not all of us have a huge Fortune" I said smiling lightly up at him he glared down at me as I ran lightly down the dock
"There's a bonfire tonight at John b and Sara's place tonight, please come" I said smiling he shrugged and I ran into the small shop and typed in the number for the sage and hung the keys in the hook.
"Slacking off again Hayden! Twice in one day damn girl." JJ said from behind me I glared at him over my shoulder.
"Just admit your jealous Kie doesn't come visit you everyday at work" I said the smirk on his face dropped and I smiled at him and checked my watch. Ten more minutes I sighed and leaned back grabbing a water bottle
"Don't clock out early Hayden" JJ said behind me I turned around and glared at him
"Careful JJ people might think you care about me" I said and winked he rolled his eyes.
We spent the rest of our shift bickering over little things the stupid thing and the second the clock hit four I sighed my name out in the computer and JJ signed out right behind me.
"Need a ride?" He asked striding over to his broke down car that hardly runs. I lifted my eyebrows.
"No Rafe will be here any time now" I said glancing down the road I heard the roar of his dirt bike in the distance. JJ shrugged and walked over to his broke down car and got inside as Rafe pulled up.
I climbed on the back of Rafes bike and wrapped my arms around his torso as he took off leaving JJ in our dust i trend just to see him flipping us the bird as we sped down the road.
"Rafe you could wait till we get inside" I mumbled against his lips he had stung on me the second I got off his bike. I heard him chuckle as his arms wrapped out my waist. And he pushed me backwards towards my house. Even though he had a nice house compared to the dump I live in he prefers to be here, I don't complain.
"Why would I wait when I could fuck you on the porch" he said harshly agains my lips I smiled as he lifted me off the ground and walked fast towards the front door. And opened it quickly and pushed inside his lips wandering down to my collarbone.
As he stumbled past the kitchen to our room he closed the door and pressed my back to it.
The shoulder of my shirt has fallen down Rafe slipped his hands under it and pulled it over my head revealing the blue bikini top I was wearing under it he pulled the tie in the back and the top fell to the floor.
I tugged at his unbuttoned shirt and it fell to the ground.
I heard the front door open and John B's loud voice echo though the house that used to be his.
"Knock knock anybody home" he yelled letting himself in. I looked at Rafe he looked just as pissed at I felt. Rafe let melt feet touch the floor and I slipped the bikini top on and walked out John B was standing in the kitchen helping himself to a bag of chips.
"Hey! Those are mine!" I said snatching the bag out of his hands and putting it back in the cabinet. He rolled his eyes.
"I hope I'm not interrupting anything" he said as Rafe walked into the kitchen behind me.
"You didn't " I said then at the same time Rafe said, "You did" he said glaring at John B they still held a grudge against each other. I rolled my eyes at both of them.
"What do you need" I asked plainly folding my arms and leaning on the fridge.
"I need your help.." he said I rolled my eyes already knowing what he was going to ask for.
"I'm going to help you but you have to start paying your own damn bills. Sarah has a full time job pick your ass up and get to it" I said sternly.
"I know ok! I'm trying to talk to Kie about getting me a job at the restaurant, I just have a lot of shit right now." He said trailing off his hands tied in his hair he looked more anxious than just regular bills. I scrunched my eyebrows together and took a step forward.
"Hey what's the matter, this is not just bulls that has you stressing like this." I said he looked up at me a sheen of sweat across his face. He looks as if he was going to be sick.
"I- fuck- shit!" He exclaimed looking back at his feet then up at me, and sighed a smile spreading across his lips. His emotions are like the weather around here god!
"I'm going to ask Sarah to marry me tonight. And I need to scrape up a little money to pay off the ring" he said a smile sprang across my face and I squealed like the little girl inside of me wanted to.
"Oh my god, oh my god!" I exclaimed throwing my arms around his shoulders and hugging him briefly. The I pulled back.
"Show me the ring" I said he pulled a plain black ring box out of his pocket and flipped it open it was a small but beau ring a silver band with gold wrapping around it, it almost looked like plant vines there was one small dining nestled in a weave of gold on the top of the ring the little rectangle glittered and danced in the light of the kitchen. I looked at it adoringly.
"That is so gorgeous. She is going to love it!" I said he closed the box and scratched the back of his neck.
"Are you sure? Is it enough?" He asked I sure I smiled.
"Of course it's enough. She is going to be absolutely thrilled" I said jumping up and down lightly.
"But aren't you guys like already married?" I asked John B burst out laughing and I giggled.
"Well I guess but we never really made it official" He said smiling.
"Well how much do you need?" I asked he shrugged.
"50? I'll pay off the rest" he said I smiled and opened the cupboard next to me and grabbed the old empty oatmeal box that I had extra cash in I counted out 50 and handed it to him he smiled and checked his watch.
"The bonfire starts at 5:00 be there" he said nervously running his hands though his hair. I smiled and waved as he quickly left the house.
"Oh my god. There going to get married!" I said smiling as I turned around to face Rafe smiling.
"Your sister, my brother!" I said he nodded lightly as he stepped towards me. I knew exactly what he was thinking.
"It's four thirty" he said I smiled and nodded
"Just enough time for me to get ready!" I said walking past him. He stopped me with a hand on my lower stomach. I glanced up at him and he was smiling down at me as his fingers moved there way down my lower stomach his fingered easily slipped into my shorts and under the waistband of my shorts
"I'll be fas-" he's started but I cut him off by pressing my lips to his he met mine with equal intensity. I pushed him back against the wall of the kitchen as he ripped my shorts off my body
He graced my hips and flipped me around setting me easily on the counter top pushing everything onto the floor. I pulled his belt off his pants and quickly unbuttoned his pants and they fell to the ground.
He guided himself into me with ease and my head rolled back as he trust into me over agin.
"Fuck" I groaned as the pleasure rolled through my bones. His hands grabbed my hips as I rocked back and fourth against him.
He was quick just as he promised, I now stood trying to put mascara on my lashes my legs still shaking. Rafe walked into the bathroom behind me and kissed my neck I smiled at his touch as I closed the mascara tube.
"Your prettier without makeup" he said I smiled at the complement, he has made so much progress since when I first met him, he was rude and insulted me and every body around him right and left, you would never know what you would get with him. But now on the occasion he'll give me compliments and praise me, like now.
"Are you ready?" He asked and I nodded as I pulled on my old best up pair of converse I bought last year they held up good. I glanced one last time in the mirror fixing the little white sundress in the mirror then went outside and got on the back of Rafes dirt bike as we sped down the road to John B's and Sarah's house.
