He finished.
Sia couldn't believe her ears. Out of everything that has been said or done today, this was something that hurt her the most.
She thought it was special.
A night that would save her marriage
It was a night of love
Andrew knew he shouldn't have said that. But he knew he has given her hope that night
He has been weak
So he just wanted to make it right and get that load off his chest
He wanted to make sure that she knew
He wasn't coming back
But he didn't care about how traumatizing a mere sentence can be.
Thr room has been completely still after that. Thick tension yet a pin drop silence was all one could feel in the room.
Andrew has been looking around trying to avoid the guilt that has been rising in his chest.
He didn't dare look at his wife though
He couldn't
There was shuffling on the other end. A cue that his wife was getting up.
Gulping down the lump of guilt down his throat he began to slowly turn towards her but even before he could fully face her the silence of the room was broken by a sharp noise as his head flew to his left and a stinging sensation was felt.
She slapped him
He was shocked would be an understatement
He turned back to her but before he could register what has happened , his head again flew to his side as he felt the same pain again .
His eyes wide and mouth opened in shock and disbelief
She slapped him again
At this very moment all Sia could see was red , barely having control on what she was doing
How dare he call that night a mistake !
A mistake? Seriously?!
She thought that was something special
She thought that was love
Not a fuckin mistake!
She has never been so broken before
Her hopes completely crushed
She felt absolutely vulnerable
The betrayal turned her pain into anger.
But not on her this time.
On him.
Her heartless husband.
"You bastard! "
She screamed as she grabbed him by his collar, making him face her
Andrew was still very much shocked but managed to turn his gaze towards his wife.
Her eyes were red .
Rage was the only emotion they Displayed.
He has never seen her like that.
Nobody has ever seen her like that
"Sia ! Listen to me!"
He started as he tried to hold her wrist and remove her hands from his collar
But her grip was much more stronger this time
"No! You listen to me! I HATE YOU ! I HATE YOU SO MUCH!!" She screamed again
She didn't care if he was the love of her life
She has had enough
She just couldn't believe how the man that she blindly loved for 7 fuckin years turned out to be... Such an asshole
"You are just a manipulative selfish cheater! You don't care about anyone but yourself! YOU were the one who begged me to give you a chance damn it!YOU were the one who convinced me to come with you knowing damn well that if I chose you, Id lose my whole family! And me being me chose you! Over everything! And now that you are fuckin my own damn sister you decide that you don't need me anymore!How can you do this to me!? HOW CAN YOU DO THIS TO ME!?! ANSWER ME DAMNIT! FUCKIN ANSWER ME!! "
She yelled at the top of her lungs and dropped her head on his chest , sobbing hysterically. Her body has become too weak from all the emotional fatigue she's experienced today
This was it. Her patience has ran out
She just couldn't do it . She just couldn't take it anymore
The betrayal, the hurt, the disappointment
It was too much and yet she couldn't bring herself to hate him
She loves him too much
Andrew was speechless
All he could do was look down at his wife and blame himself for being such a bad husband
His heart ached on seeing her like that, so he did the least he could
Engulfing her in his arms as she cried over her misfortune
But as soon as she felt his touch , her grip loosened and she backed off creating a distance between herself and her husband who just stood there completely stunned
She looked up at him,his cheek had her fingerprints imprinted on it
It made her feel worse
She couldn't believe she'd let her anger get the best of her
I'm so sorry love
She wanted to say
But she knew she couldn't
She can't break down again . She just can't.
So she turned around and ran to the bathroom locking herself in and sliding down against the door
As fresh tears finally came out.
But this time she cried silently. Thinking about everything.
How her husband ruined her life.
How she would never be able to forgive him
Or her
Andrew on the other hand was numb
He knew he deserved those slaps.
He really was a manipulative selfish cheater
But he was in love
That's the only thing that came as a defense in his mind
He knew he was the bad one.
He knew he ruined his marriage
He ruined his wife's life
And he felt guilty for everything. He really did.
But the damage has been already done and there's nothing more he could do about that
That's what he thought before turning around and going back down stairs . To her
