"Hurry up Anu", I shouted
"Oh madam, this is your work in which I'm helping you.. so give me a little time", she said looking after
"It's just selecting my outfit, how long will you take?", I asked
"If it's just selecting an outfit then why don't you do yourself?", She gave stiff smile
"Fine, see", I rolled my eyes
"Div", I heard my baby's voice
"Hey Reyansh baby", I grinned wide seeing him open my room door with his small hands
"How me look?", He asked with his doe eyes
"Hmm wait", I said as if observing him
"My baby is always the most handsome, isn't it?", I grinned to which he laughed
Reyansh Sharma, 1 year old cutie naughty charming son of my Bhai and Nidhi Di.. this one has become my all time favourite ever since I held him in my arms for the first time..
"Div", he called me raising his hands
I smiled and lifted him in my arms and his smile grew clutching to my shoulder.
"Why does he love you so much? Anu glared to which I laughed
"He sticks to you all the time with that ever charming smile while he keeps that annoying face when in my arms", Anu pouted
"Coz my baby loves me so much", I said kissing his cheek
"I wish it was just you Anu", I heard Arjun at the doorstep
"This little boy doesn't come to anyone apart from Divi after his parents", Arjun shrugged
Arjun came forward trying to take Reyansh from me and he simply turned aside hiding in the crook of my neck and I couldn't help but laugh hard at it.
"See I told you", Arjun made a face
"Divi we better make a baby soon, I wanna hold one and this boy wouldn't even come", he said and I felt flushed
"Arjun", I glared
"What's so shy baby? Isn't it obvious?", He smirked
"Just coz it's obvious you don't have to tell it out", I glared
"Ok, I'll leave", Anu said smirking
"No wait, Arjun you leave", I said
"What? Are you shuing me away?", He made a face
"I gotta get ready Arjun, it's such an important day", I grinned
"I myself am not this excited Divi", he smiled
"You will be much more excited if it's about me.. same way, when it's you then I'm too happy", I smiled
"Okay fine, should I help you?", He smirked
"No thanks hubby, I have her.. so kindly get out", I pushed him away closing the door
I heard him mumbling something but I least care now!
Minutes later I looked at myself in the mirror all set for the evening.. I drapped a netted black saree with minimal make-up with matching earrings. Looks great Divi!
I moved out and saw Bhai sitting with Arjun, everyone came here and I din't even know.
"Bhai", I called out
I see Arjun looking at me.. nah, staring at me! I smirked at his reaction and looked at Bhai again.
"What took you so long to get ready Divi? My 'Not leaving mirror' wife also got ready quite early this time", he smirked
"Did you just say something Sidhu?", I heard Nidhi Di and I laughed seeing Bhai's reaction
"No baby, you get back to your work", Bhai said
"I thought it was just me Bhai.. you gradually made me realize that be it whosoever you are, we will always be a kitten infront of our wife's", Arjun said
"What do you imply Arjun, I'm controlling you or beating the shit of you or scolding you every now and then or what? Could you elaborate?", I glared at him
"See, this is what I was saying about", he said
"But you ar'nt less either.. don't you do the same? How many time you keep that puppy face of yours and I had to come around like a lost puppy behind you to convince you back? Such a kid you are with me and taunt me back huh?", I asked
"I at times do that intentionally Divi and you know it as well, I like when you pamper me like a kid", he blushed
God, what do I do with him? He has become so bold over the years..
It's been two and a half years to Anu's marriage, my re-marriage. And it was just smiles ever since then and I couldn't ask for anything else in my life.
I joined my new office here and thankfully I could mingle with everyone and made a few friends there as well.
Although now I could cook Arjun haven't allowed me to, all he said was he loved to cook for me like our past days and I couldn't say a no to him.
Mornings waking up next to him, cooking with him, going to our respective work place and coming back with that eagerness to meet him each day to share my daily events with him without fail which even he does with equal interest.
Again cook our dinner together which probably he would cook and me sitting on the kitchen slab talking non stop and then having a little "Us" time to cuddling together in eachother arms it was just perfect.
And Sundays it was our day where all we do is spend time with eachother or sometime go out together which most of the times I deny being the lazy one who always prefer my phone and my room since my childhood..
Every month visiting our parents place to having silly and cute fights with Arjun.. life has been so perfect so far.
What more do I need other than this? My loved ones around, a satisfying job, and the peace I have within without any tension.. this is all I ever need.
"Hello Mrs. Wife, back to world", Bhai said
"Sorry", I muttered
"Enough now, it's gonna be time.. shall we leave?", Mom asked and we nodded
Arjun is gonna be awarded the best Bussiness Man award for the year, I have seen him working hard for this along side making enough time for me. This is best thing I love about him, although his work is very important to him he never let it eat our time unless for a few unavoidable situations.
This is such a proud moment for me as his wife and the moment I got to know I couldn't express my happiness, he's not just a perfect husband but a perfect bussiness man as well.
I have seen how his employees love and respect him coz of his kind and soft going nature unlike any other rude and tough boss I have read in my novels.
Anyways, my husband is one of a kind and I feel the most luckiest to have him. After 6 years I met him, we keep loving eachother more and more every single day!
"I love you", I whispered locking my arms with his

I could see she was feeling proud of me and that made me feel so happy within. Isn't this all I ever wanted? Ofcourse yes!
We sat in our respective cars heading towards the venue, I know how hard I worked for my company not for anything in return but getting such award feels so greatfull.
Soon we were seated in our places and in no time I was called up to receive the award, I could see everyone's eyes shining seeing me there and my lady out there just gave me a flying kiss for which I could help blushing amongst the crowd.
After all the required formalities I went back to her and not bothering about the surroundings she jumped on me squeezing me in her arms and I smiled at her excitement holding her tight in my arms.
"I'm so so happy", she said backing off
I smiled and kissed her forehead while I heard people clearing there thought.
"Sorry", I mumbled
"I'm going out with Arjun, you guys get back home", Divya said and I was surprised
"Out?", I asked
"Yeah, will tell you come", I held my hand
"I also wanna come Divi", Anu smirked
"I know you just wanna tease but still we can go out tomorrow, but not today", Divya answered straight
"Why is that so?", Anu faked sadness
"Coz I'm taking Arjun on a date and I'm sure you wouldn't want to third-wheel between us", Divya said without any hesitation
Damn, at times she can be bolder than anyone and other times can just run away out of extreme shyness.. this one is a complete package.
"Fine fine, permission granted go", Anu said
I smiled looking at them and Divya took me somewhere, don't know where. She was herself driving the car, she wanted to learn so I had taught her before.
"We are here", she smiled
"Beach house?", I asked
"Ofcourse, this one holds too many memories of us.. remember the first time you took me here I felt really special", she smiled
"You did?", I asked
"Ofcourse if you remember I was scared that time and you got me here thinking to make me smile.. and it felt so good that even when I was so reserved with you, you still cared about my feelings and even took a step to make me smile.. it made me feel so special although that time I couldn't voice it out", she smiled
"When did you realise that you love me Divi?", I asked her
"I don't know Arjun, you know I probably started liking you before only but when that Sanjay's thoughts were still haunting me back then I couldn't think anything that sort then.. may be when you proposed me only I started getting all such butterflies in me and at one point I couldn't just ignore my feelings so had to tell it out", she smiled probably remembering all those
"How did you love me Arjun? I never used to believe in love at first sight", she looked at me
"Trust me Divi I myself never believed in that, I always used to think how can you feel all that just in your first encounter.. but after seeing you that day at the canteen I felt everything which I have never experienced before but I din't wanna rush either.. I took my time to realise it's not just any mere attraction I have for you but rather it's a very strong emotion that I was drowned into", I said honestly
"Now going back to all those days feels so nostalgic Arjun, the feeling of being loved was very new and some sort of.. I just don't know how to describe", she laughed at the last
"I know, you don't have to voice it out Divi.. I know you in and out", I smiled
"Yes yes, so well that you even know my period issues long long ago just by looking at my face", she smirked
I remember that!
It was during our internals when few from our class and few from Divya's class were being seated in the same class for the exam. The moment I saw Divya in the class I strongly prayed to sit next to her but nope! I was somewhere far from her which I din't wanted.
So I intentionally asked my invigilator stating to be some health problem and that I needed a window seat and gladly she agreed to it.
I could see Divya's shocked face looking at me but she just composed to maintain a normal face.
She started writing her exam while I at times was peeping into her book only to see her handwriting, she writes it so neat. The evaluator has to give two marks extra for good handwriting.
She probably noticed that and looked at my book and I instantly covered my sheets, not that my writing was bad but it was not very good either so..
She let out a soft chuckle but suddenly I see her face stiffen. What happened?
She frowned and I could see her stopped writing and was looking uncomfortable also.
"Periods?", I asked what came to my mind
She first looked at me with her wide eyes, ofcourse she wouldn't be very comfortable sharing such with me when I'm not even a great friend of hers.
But she slowly nodded her head and I felt worried for her.
"You have it?", I asked and she nodded in no
It's an emergency for her!
"I'll just come, don't worry", I said and moved out making an excuse for washroom and went out
Going to the reception I got a sanitary pad for her and kept it inside her bag, ofcourse I know her belongings!
"It's near your bag, just go and don't worry.. it's fine", I said sitting next to her
She looked a little surprised but din't utter a word and went away nodding. She came back in a few minutes.
"Thank you so much Arjun.. I always carry one but my bad that I forgot this time.. thanks for helping out", she said slowly
"You don't have to Divya, that's ok.. continue with your exam", I said softly and she nodded smiling
"You remember so well", I said
"I don't forget anything about 'US'", she looked into my eyes
"Ok ok now come", she said taking me inside
She made me stand near a small table and I could see a cake there. She opened it and my eyes widen in shock seeing that.
"Congratulations soon to be daddy"
Daddy? I'm gonna be a dad?
I looked at Divya and she nodded smiling.
"Divi", I whispered
"I'm a five weeks pregnant Arjun, and this is the reason I was late today coz I found it today itself", she pouted at the last
"We are gonna be parents?", I asked with atmost happiness
"Yeah, I want a girl", she jumped
"I want a baby girl as well", I said pulling her in my arms
"This feeling, it's so blissful Divi", I whispered
"I know, I couldn't tell you what and how I felt when I got to know this.. there's gonna be a little replica of us Arjun, our symbol of love", she said sniffing
"No tears baby", I said wiping them off
"I know, but these are worth Arjun", she said and I smiled
"What are we gonna name her?", I asked
"Aarya", she smiled wide
"Aarya?", I asked as she already thought about it
"Arjun and Divya, so 'Ar' from Arjun and 'Ya' and Divya.. so it's Aarya", she grinned
"Aarya, our Aarya", I smiled in joy
"What if it's a boy?", I asked
"It's a girl", she said confidently holding her stomach
I placed a hand on her stomach and kissed it softly caressing my baby.
"I love you wifey", I hugged her
"I love you more hubby", she said sealing her lips with mine
The first time ever she took the lead.. and this moment is beyond bliss. The feeling of fatherhood is just a few months ahead and I'll try my best to be best father.
My loving Divya, my cutie kids, my caring family and a peaceful life ever after!
