Felixs POV
It was still pretty late when we woke up together on the couch. So i lead Sean to the spare room and we wished eachother a goodnight before parting ways.
As I walked to my own room, I found myself wishing Sean was still walking with me, as if we we'd be sharing the same bed. I sighed as I entered my dark, messy, and now very lonely room. At least the rest of the house was in a somewhat decent condition. Hopefully Sean didn't mind the huge pile of dishes in the sink or the few soda cans scattered around the livingroom.
I crawled into bed and curled myself up into a ball under the covers. Edgar pushed his way through the crack of the door and managed to hop onto the bed. He laid down next to me with a content sigh. I wrapped an arm around him and kissed his pug face.
I feel so bad that I havn't been able to take care of him like I used to. He hasn't given up on me yet though.
I hope my friends do the same...

The next morning I was woken up by the smell of waffles. I wasn't going to get up right away. But then Edgar woke up to the smell too and got excited. He attempted to hope over me but jumped on my stomach instead which startled me. I shot up in bed as Edgar landed on the floor and scurried as fast as he could to the kitchen.
"Edgarrr!" I whispered breathlessly. "Why are you so heavy?"
I got out of bed holding my stomach and made my way to the kitchen. And sure enough, there was Sean at the stove making breakfast. Bacon And eggs sizzled on the pan, and right next to it was the waffle maker cooking away. I sniffed at the air and my mouth started to water. It's been too long since I've had a meal that wasn't just a hot pocket with a pepsi.
Edgar danced around Sean's feet eagerly. Sean looked down at him and giggled. "Alright, but don't tell Felix" he whispered and tossed the pug a piece of bacon.
"I saw that" I smirked.
Sean jumped out of his skin and spun around with the eyes of a deer in headlights. "Jesus fuck ye scared the shit outta me!" He shouted in his adorable Irish accent. I chuckled and shook my head as I made my way closer to the stove. "You're not gonna kill me for giving your dog bacon are ya?" He asked.
"Of course not, you havn't finished making breakfast yet" I joked. He laughed and went back to scrambling the eggs. "I don't mind. He deserves a treat every now and then for being so loveable".
"Dam, looks like I have competition" the blue eyed coffe bean said.
"Yeaaah, you're pretty cute. But Edgar's cuter" I said looking into Edgar's eyes.
There was a pause. I looked over to see Sean's cheeks turning pink.
"You think I'm cute?" He mumbled.
Shit. Fuck. Did I really just call him cute?
"Uh- I mean, yeah...for a leprechaun" I giggled.
"Aye!" He slapped my arm with the spatula. "You take that back you little bitch!"
"Give me a pot of gold and I will!"
"You little-" he went to hit me with the spatula again but I took off running. "Get back here dammit!" He shouted.
I laughed maniacally as I ran through the living room and hopped over the couch. Sean wasn't too far behind me. "Ya know, this is a little backwards!" I yelled behind me. "Usually it's the leprechaun being chased!" I looked behind me just in time to see him throw the spatula at me. I ducked and laughed even harder. I reached the hallway leading to the front door when I felt Sean crashing into me. His weight pushed me up against the wall, with him pressed up against me.
"Gotcha!" He said grinning from ear to ear. I didn't say anything. His face was nearly a few inches from mine. His hands were clung to my shirt, and his captivating eyes locked with mine. We just stood there a few moments. I could feel both our chests moving up and down and his breath brushing against my lips as we both caught our breath. My cheeks felt like they were on fire.
Apparently my face wasn't the only thing burning. The smell of burning eggs quickly brought us out of whatever the hell was happening.
"Fuck!" Sean said scurrying back to the kitchen. I stayed pressed up against the wall trying to collect my thoughts. I could hear him digging around frantically for another spatula and couldn't help but giggle. Maybe I should help him. I rubbed my cheeks in an attempt to wipe the heat off of them as I made my way to the kitchen. I fetched him another spatula and he quickly scraped the eggs off of the pan and onto a plate.
"Well..." He held up the plate of slightly burnt eggs. "Bone apple tea!"
"You dork" I said shaking my head.
"You know you love me" he said walking away with the food to set the table.
"Yeah..." I whispered to myself and let out a sigh. "I do..."

Breakfast went by pretty fast. I had shoveled my food down so quick I was done before Sean could even eat half of his serving. I stayed at the table drinking orange juice as we chatted about whatever.
"Thank you for breakfast by the way. I haven't had food this good in ages" I admitted sheepishly while rubbing the back of my neck.
"No problem, buddy!" Sean chirped. "I like cooking. Especially if it's for someone I care about".
I smiled softly and looked down at my spotless plate.
"So" he said after taking a sip of coffe. "What should we do today?"
"Oh, um-" I stumbled. I wasn't exactly expecting to do anything. I've been doing nothing for so long now it's become my new norm. "I'm not sure really..."
"How abooout," he searched his surroundings as if he were looking for ideas. When his eyes landed on the Nintendo Switch he lit up with excitement. "Mario kart!"
"Mario Kart?" I looked at my switch that had been sitting on my shelf for a while now just collecting dust.
"Yeah! It'll be just like old times!"
Well, I couldn't say no to that. "Alright, Mario Kart it is".
"Yes!" Sean cheered before going back to his food. "We could build a pillow fort!"
"Don't chew with your mouth full!" I said grabbing a slice of bacon from the serving plate and tossing it at him. It bounced off of him and landed on the floor. Edgar was quick to volunteer as clean up crew and gobbled it down quicker than I could blink.
"I'll do what I want!" Sean argued.
"You're spitting egg everywhere, monkey tits!"
Sean put a hand over his mouth trying to hold back his laughter. I started to chuckle, which seemed to make it even harder for him to compose himself. He managed to swallow his food without dying and broke out into a fit of giggles.
There was never a dull moment with this crack head. I'm glad he decided to come invade my house. He made it easier to ignore the numbing pain that had been dragging me down.
After cleaning up our breakfast mess we raced to the living room. Sean started making the dumb pillow fort while I got the game set up. By the time I got to the menu screen Sean was already inside the fort lying on his stomach. He rested his chin in his hands and swung his legs up and down behind him. He smirked and urged me to join him by waving his finger towards himslef.
"If you're gonna give me bedroom eyes at least take me out to dinner first" I said crawling into the fort and sitting next to him.
"Well, I did just have breakfast with you" he said wiggling his eyebrows.
"Fuck, you're right. Alright bend over".
He laughed and took his controller. "What makes you think I'm a bottom?!" He squaked.
"Do I really have to explain that?" I teased.
"Shut up!" He said shoving me.
"Make me!"
"I will! Cuz I'm a top!"
"Oh ya? Do it then!" I got closer to him. He stared at me for a momet trying to hold back his smile, then gave me a light slap on the cheek.
"Oh, wow. I really learned my lesson" I said rolling my eyes.
"Shut your whore mouth, I'll prove it through Mario Kart" he laughed.
"Pfft, ya okay. I might not have played in forever, but I am the true king!"
"We'll see about that" Sean said keeping his eyes to the screen as he picked his character.
I smiled. "We shall see indeed".
I honestly didn't care who won. I was just happy to be sharing a morning with the most wonderful, chaotic, best friend I ever had. He made this morning bright. And I'm sure he'd do the same every day he was here.
