I turned Bruno around and hugged him making him fall on the ground "Bruno, it really is you" I cried into his shoulder, he was tensed at first but soon hugged me back
"I've missed you so much" I sniffled placing my. hand on his cheek and rubbing it "I've missed you too Rosa but I have to go" he stuttered, he stood up and walked away
"Wait, no, why did you take the vision" Mirabel asked as we followed him "knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock on wood" Bruno said knocking on wood and holding his breath and crossing his fingers "What does it mean" she asked
"Tío Bruno" she said as he began knocking on wood "What about the other vision" I spoke up as he looked back in my eyes "You were never supposed to see that visions, no one was, and as for you Rosa I destroyed the vision with you for a reason"
"But-" I was cut off by salt being throw on Mirabel and I "A little salt" Bruno said throwing it over his shoulder "sugar" he then threw sugar at us "Wait a minute, have you even in here patching the cracks?" He awkwardly turned around and examined the cracks "Oh that? No, no, no, I'm too scared to go near those things" he said shaking his head
"All the patching's done by Hernando" He said, Mirabel and I both looked at each other "Um, who is Hernando" I asked looking back at Bruno who has the hood of his poncho up that was covering his eye "I'm Hernando and I'm scared of nothing!" He says in a deep voice, I giggled at the scene in front of me
"It's actually me" He chuckles taking the hood down "I used to say my real gift was "acting" he chuckles again "I'm Jorge, I make the spackle" Bruno says with a bucket over his head, his voice was altered
"How long have you been back here?" I asked Bruno taking the bucket off his head and fixing his curls
We followed into room that was filled with supplies "You never left" Mirabel said, I examined the room and dragged my fingers across the red leather couch "Well, I left my tower, which was, you know, a lot of stairs and here, eh, kitchen adjacent" He clicked his tongue holding up a arepa
"Ooh, ooh, plus, free entertainment, so, what do you like? You like sports? Game shows? Telenovelas?" He asked picking up a rat and putting in behind a card with different scenes "Their love could never be" he sighed sitting in chair
"I don't understand" Mirabel and I said looking around "Well, because she's his aunt and she has amnesia so she can't remember that she's his aunt, it's like a very forbidden kind of..." I shook my head and got down on my knees and rested my hands on the arm of the chair "I don't understand why you left, but didn't leave" I said
Bruno looked into my pleading eyes "Oh, well, because, huh, the mountains around the Encanto are pretty tall and, uh, like I said free food and everything" he said getting from his seat walking to a table and picking up the arepa, I stood up from my spot and walked over crack in the wall and looked out of it
It was a full view of the dining room table, I turned my gaze to the table next to me that had a down plate on it with the name Bruno, I ran my fingers over it and slowly turned around to see Bruno a little sad
"Yeah, my gift wasn't helping the family, but, uh, I love my family, and Rosa she was my best friend, you know?" He paused, tears were nearly coming to my eyes "I just don't know how to...I just don't know how to...well , anyway, I think you guys should go, because, um, I don't really have a good reason, but, if I did, you'd be like, "I should go, because that's a good reasons" He said, a tear had slid down my face and Mirabel pulled me to the side
"Tia Rosa, tell him you're in love with him, he might come back, and..and like you said "If you truly love someone tell them" Mirabel finished, I turned my head back at Bruno then back to hers "Mirabel he doesn't love me" I said putting on a fake smile
We walked over to Bruno "Why we're we in your vision?" miracle was kneeling down with a pleading look "Tío Bruno? I just wanted to make the family proud of me, just once," she plead, I was on the other side of Bruno and grabbed his hand
"But if I should stop, if I'm hurting my family just tell me, looks what happen to Rosa hair half of it it brown and getting shorter she is being affected by this, think of Rosa and the family" Mirabel said, Bruno looked at my hair then sighed
"I can't tell you..." I sighed "Because I don't know, I had this vision the night that you didn't get your gift"
"Abuela worried about the magic so, she begged me to look into the future, see what it means and I saw the magic in danger, our house breaking, and then, and then, and then, I saw you, but the vision was different it...it would change and there was no one answer, no clear fate like your future was undecided but I knew how it was gonna look, I knew what everyone would think because I'm Bruno and everyone always assumes the worst, so..." he paused for a second sighing
Tears were now sliding down my face "So..." he sighed, "You left to protect me?" Mirabel asked looking down at the vision "I don't know which way it'll go but my guess...the family, the encanto, and the fate of the miracle itself...well, it's all gonna come down to you" I walked over to Mirabel and looked at the vision "Or maybe I'm wrong , you know, it's a mystery, that's why this vision..." Bruno says as he blows a raspberry noise
"Bruno that doesn't answer about your vision about, why was mine so bad that you had to destroy it?" I asked grabbing his arm "Uh, um, you...you wouldn't want to..uh...be with someone you d-don't love, and, and yeah" he stuttered nervously "Who was the man Bruno" I asked looking down at my feet
"Um, I think its time you all go" He stutter
"I'm not leaving until you tell me Bruno, you've been gone for 11 years and you promised me 19 years ago that you would tell me my future when we were both adults, so tell me who was the man" I cried flaring my arms around then placing then crossing them over my chest
"It...It was..um..me" Bruno spoke sitting on his chair slouching "You didn't love me, and, and who would want to be with me" you could hear the sadness laced in his voice "Dios mío Bruno, I was in love with you"
He turned to me shocked "B-But I'm Bruno and I mess everything up, and, and, mhm" I cut him off with passionate kiss and pulled away with saliva string hanging from mouth our mouths, Bruno was blushing bright red as I laughed "That's what I love about you Bruno, you make mistakes and I love how awkward you are and that you've been by side until 11 years ago but that's beside the point' I said wiping the tears from my eyes and kissing his nose
"I love you too Rosa but we can't and you both need to go" he said ushering us to the door "Look, if I could help any more, I would, but, um, but that's all I know, good luck, I wish I could've seen more" we walked about when he closed the door "Mirabel he could have another vision" I said as she smile, we kicked open the door which made him yell
"You wish you could have seen more, so see more!" Mirabel said getting close to Bruno face with me following behind "Have another vision" I said getting excited as he went behind the chair "Oh, no, no, see, I don't do visions anymore"
He got from behind the chair "But you could" we say in sync "But I won't" he said grabbing the broom and putting in front of him as a shield "You can't say the weight of the world is on your shoulders. The end" I said snatching the broom and throwing it
"If our fate's up to me, me says have another vision" Mirabel sassed, "Maybe it'll show me what to do" she said, Bruno had tripped over a bucket and popped right back up "Look, even if I wanted to, which I don't, both of you wrecked my vision cave"
"I almost forgot about that" I said trying to laugh it off, Mirabel gaze me look that's said not-the-time "Which is a problem, 'cause I need a big open space" He stated
"We'll find one" I said grabbing his hands "Where?" he asked, we turned our heads when we heard a voice speak "Use my room" it was Antonio surrounded by animals "The rats told me everything, don't eat those" he said turning to the cheetah who was hovering over the rats
"Our family needs help and you need to get outta here and be with Rosa" I heard Mirabel whisper, "Meh"

Rumbling shook the room, Mirabel and I sat down watching Bruno put down sand "We might wanna hurry" Mirabel said getting worried, "You can't hurry the future" Bruno and I said at the same time, I looked at him as he turned his away blushing
"What is I show you something worse? If I see something that you don't like, you're gonna be all, "Bruno makes bad things happens" or "Oh, he's creepy and his vision killed my goldfish" he stated, "Your vision didn't kill her fish she was just overfeeding it" I huffed crossing my arms, this whole village owes you an apology
"We don't think you make bad things, sometimes family weirdos just getting a bad rap, you can do this" Mirabel encourages, Antonio placed his stuffed cheetah that Mirabel made for him on to Bruno's hand "For the nerves" Antonio said hopping on the cheetah, as the cheetah let out a soft growl
"I can do this, I can do this, I can do this, I can do this" He whispered pulling out sand and throwing it over his shoulder and lighting a match and burned the paper
The wind started picking up, he cracked his knuckles and held his hand out "You might wanna hang on" he said, we took a hold of his hands, Bruno opened his eyes and they began glowing a bright green, sand surrounded us
The sand formed into a vision of the candle burning out , and the village with people exclaiming and running
It formed into Mirabel and me outside Casita standing behind Mirabel with my hand on her shoulder "It's just the same thing but with Rosa this time, I gotta stop!" Bruno says, I could tell he was getting scared
I got closer to his side "You got this Bruno" I said solemnly "No, no, I need to know which way it goes" Mirabel says pleading, "There's gotta be an answer, something we're not seeing!"
"You're looking at the same thing I am, if there was something else-"
"There! Over there!" Mirabel yelled pointing at a yellow glow, she grabbed Bruno hand as I held on to the other one guiding him "Butterfly, follow the butterfly!" Bruno said pointing at it as we complied
"Where is that?" I asked looking at the butterfly Landing on a plant "It's all out of order" Bruno said hesitating, the sand began forming into the candle, it was getting brighter "It's..It's the candle, the candle's getting brighter!"
"I-I-I think you're both gonna help the candle!" Bruno stirred excitedly, "How" we yelled through the loud wind
"Uh, there's someone with you, and you..." he pause for a moment "You fight her!" he yelled putting up his fist "Wait what" I said, Mirabel had the same reactions as me "Wait, no, no, is that a hug?"
"Are we fighting or hugging" Mirabel said aggressively, note to self get this girl anger management classes "An embrace, an embrace! To make the candle bright you have to have to embrace her" Bruno said as the sand began forming the person slowly
"Embrace who?" Mirabel questioned, I started looking at it very intensely "Oh...almost there"
'Who is it?" I said impatiently waiting for it to form "Almost there. Oh, oh, I got it!" Bruno yelled happily, it showed Isabela flipping her hair
"Isabela?!" Mirabel incredulously yelled as her voice, I covered my head when the sand fell back down to the ground
"Oh, your sister? That's great! This should be easy for you and Rosa" Bruno said, Mirabel growled as Bruno backed up 'Every time" he says sighing throwing the vision as it shatters into piece "It's not you Bruno, it's just they don't really get along with each other" I said placing a hand on his shoulder reassuring him, he sent an awkward smile to be and nodded

We were on the ground looking at Isabela door glow "Why would embracing Isabela do anything?" Mirabel scoffs, I looked at her with a blank face "You both literally always fight" I said in response "I don't know. Our family got a miracle. How do you help a family miracle? You hug your sister" Bruno rambled
"Mirabel! Tía Rosa!" we ducked down on the as we heard Camilo sigh then start shapeshifting into different people but landed with a baby head "Mirabel! Tía Rosa!" Camilo yelled with a high pitched voice
"Well, I think we're running out of time here" Bruno said
"It's not gonna work, she won't hug me ever, okay? she'll probably hug Rosa because that's her favorite tia, but she hates me!" Mirsbel said dramatically "Also we don't know if you've heard but we ruined her proposal!" I said banging my head on the railing "Plus P.S" Mirabel started to ramble
"Mirabel? Rosa?" Bruno whisper, trying to get the attention of us "She is just annoying, of course it's Isabela"
"Mirabel? Rosa?" he whispered again as I just kept banging my head against the railing "I'm such a bad tia" I muttered "She's the one with roses coming out of her..."
"Mirabel! Rosa!" Bruno yelled, I turned my head to him "Sorry, sorry, sorry" he apologized, I raised my hand stopping him "There's no need to say sorry, you were just trying to get our attention" I smiled
"You see, you're, you're missing the point, the fate of the family, it's not up to her, it's up to the both of you" Bruno said holding on to the plant leaf "You're exactly what this family needs Mirabel and Rosa you keep this family together" he said
"You just have to see it...by yourself, after I leave" Bruno says going behind the plant and dragging it with him grunting from the heaviness "What, you're not coming?" I asked shifting my body
"It was your visions, Rosa, Mirabel, not mine" Bruno says in a deep voice, "You're afraid Abuela will see you" I said as my eye twitched, "Yep, I mean, yes, that too" he quickly says standing up and opening the picture
"Hey, after you save the miracle, come visit" He smiled with hope in his eyes "After we save the miracle, I'm bringing you home so you can be with tia Rosa"
"Bruno" I said standing up from my spot and pulling him down to my height by the hem of his poncho "Te quiero" I said kissing him and then walking back to Mirabel, he stood there not moving an inch "I think I broke him' I whispered to Mirabel "How long do you think he'll be like that" Mirabel asked as we watched him "Give it about, eh, ten more seconds" I said
"In 3, 2, 1" I counted down "knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock on wood' He inhales sharply and crosses his fingers and falls behind the picture, I laughed at the scene and turned to see the doors of Casita glowing and then fading
We turned towards Isabela's door "We got this, just gotta save the miracle" Mirabel sighed "With a hug" she said
We got closer to Isabela door, I placed my hand on the handle and twisted it....here we go
