Your Pov
"(Y/N), I think I overdid the carbonara sauce."
I turned around to see my dad, who's eyes were filled with this childish glint as he chuckled nervously.
He hid his hands behind his back, whistling to himself nervously after telling me he almost ruined the sauce.
I raised a brow at my dad. "All I asked you to do was stir it in a low heat, how did you ruin it?" I then asked. He gave me a small shrug.
"Dunno."
Heaving out a small sigh, I rushed to his aid and turned off the stove. "Its okay, dad. You can just mix the fruit salad and put it in the fridge. It'd be ready before the potluck starts." I then tell him.
This is the first every Christmas I get to spend with Luka and all my closest friends, and I'm making sure it's going to be memorable.
We decided to do a potluck, it's something my family did alot back at our home country.
A potluck is a communal gathering where each guest or group contributes a different, often homemade, dish of food to be shared.
We invited over a few close friends, like the Dupain-Chengs, Agrestes, and the Couffaine family.
Buut earlier today, Marinette informed me that Alya and Ninos families are coming along too. And with close schools friends too, so we had to set up earlier than expected.
Its that, and because I also have errands to run after this. I promised Luka to meet up with him at town square, to watch him teach the kids.
Luka was assigned to teach the kids how to do acapella for this year's Christmas celebration, and I told him I'd be there to give support.
I also wanted to check and see how the youth choir group is doing. I've heard them perform once during Thanksgiving, and they are absolutely lovely.
"Dad! I'm finished with the banners and decorations! I'm heading out to see the youth choir practice." I then briefly explained before rushing out to the door, nearly trampling my way out when I couldn't open the door.
I'm sure my dad can handle the rest, he just needs to put the sweets in the freezer to set anyways.
I already finished doing the decorations and setting the tables outside, and I added fairy lights and candy canes for that Christmas touch. And all that done just before sundown.

"Luka!" I ran up to him and immediately wrapped my arms around his frame, a smile coming up my lips as gaze into his teal orbs. Luka smiled back at me, pressing a soft loving kiss on my forehead.
"Hello, precious." He then greeted. I was suddenly thrown aback when I felt this small body colliding with mine.
Looking down, I saw these adorable bluebell eyes. Its as if I've seen these familiar orbs before.
Her hair was as golden as a ray of sunshine, short blonde hair maintained in a disheveled bob style of an inconsistent length, with strands ending in the same level as her ears yet others go slightly past the chin.
A toothy smile was plastered on the little girls face as she examines me, the glow in her eyes seemingly growing brighter as she holds onto me for dear life.
"Is this the girl coach Luka has been talking about?" She then asked.
Luka chuckled before going down to swiftly scoop the small child in his arms, making her squeal in surprise.
The little girls fits of chiming giggles, and Lukas gaze had my heart beating frantically against my chest.
He's really good with kids.
"Yep, she's the one. This is the love of my life." He then proudly exclaimed, wrapping his arms tightly around the little girl so that she wouldn't fall.
My cheeks started to flourish into this shade of red as his words struck into my mind, replaying itself like a broken record.
"Goodie! My name's Emma! I'm with the youth choir." The little girl then said, reaching her hand out to me.
I smiled at her, trying cool down my reddening cheeks as I took her hands to do a firm shake.
"My name's (Y/N)." I then said.
Their 20 minute break ended in a flash. Luka had to go back to polish the choirs acapella songs.
Hearing the melody and harmony of these children has me almost mesmerized, it's like a spell filled with jolly and joy.
Watching Luka interact with these kids made me fall inlove with him even more.
I thought he was only my beautiful blessing, but he seems to spread his joy and happiness everywhere he goes. He's not afraid to be true to himself, and to others.
Whenever the kids made a mistake, or when they couldn't hold the note for long enough, Luka gives them patience and teaches them how to do it properly.
I also noticed that Luka brought this small shoulder bag with him, it was a new look for him.
But when I found out that he was packed with candy canes and Chocolate beads to give out to the children as a reward, it had me near hysterical.
He's adorable.
"Okay guys, one last time before the big show tonight. Are you ready?" He then asked the kids, clasping his hands together to get their attention.
The kids merrily and cheerfully shouting out "Yes!" as Luka then starts to sing the intro for them to follow.
I hear this faint noice, it was somewhat familiar. I looked to the direction where the voice was coming from, and saw Zoé in a frantic haze, with box in hand. Her hair was somewhat frazzled, but it was her heavy breathing that had me concerned.
"I hope I'm not to late. Marinette couldn't escape the bakery, so she had me deliver these uniforms for the kids." She then briefly explained, catching her breath afterwards.
She heaved out a small sigh, before handing the box she held.
I gave her a reassuring smile. "Thank you so much, Zoé. And don't worry! We still have lots of time. I'm gonna show these to Luka if that's alright with you."
Zoé smiled at me, waving her hand in a shoo-ing like gesture. "Tell the kids I said hi!" She then said.
I nodded my head at her. "Will do! Also, the water bottles are by the tent. You can go get some." I then told her, before skipping off to search for Luka.
Because of all the exciting events that is taking place, because of all the merry cheers and vibes I kept getting, I hadn't notice that my surroundings started to change.
All the decorations, the Christmas lights, and even the aura of this place started to change. My eyes grew concerned as I looked at my surroundings, dropping the box in hand as I take in the horrendous sight.
Hawkmoth why do you have to ruin Christmas.
The air suddenly felt cold, it's as if we were struck by a sudden cold whiplash. I then noticed that the ground turned into ice, which had me in a slippering mess.
"Oh no, no. This is a mess. Everything must be perfect."
I turned around to see this unfamiliar person, my eyes turning as wide as saucers as I take in her features.
Everything about her screamed Ice. From the outfit, to her skin, and to the shade of her makeup. She was like a living ice statue.
Wherever she went, an icy trail followed her. Everyone started running around, looking for shelter in a hazed panic.
I was trapped, I couldn't move. And I also have no idea how to skate my way through the snow, so I'm basically stuck and in her way.
And not so surprisingly enough, our eyes met. The icy glare and the aura she gave off had my knees trembling out of fright.
"You don't belong in this story." She then breathed out.
