The author is the same as 'Don't Cry', I read the manga on early chapter but stopped since the manga is slow. Based on the style, I had a hunch that this novel is a sweet fluffy type and not revenge faceslap type. My hunch is correct, it is a romance highschool. There's no solid background story for both ML and MC. Until the end, ML past is mentioned within 2-3 sentences, no other explanation.
In the last life, MC only met ML 2 times. The first time she met him is when he is beating other boys. Then she met him again 6 month later when MC is trapped in fire when she was working. ML saved her and got disfigured. He never show up again in front of MC. Later MC realize the true face of her adopted family. They used MC parent inheritance and want to chase her out of house.
