Namjoon's POV:
I noticed that it had begun to rain again during the afternoon and decided to head over to Sangan again, as I had nothing better to do.
It didn't take long for my peace to get disturbed though, of course, See Yeon had to step in. The moment I had sat down on the bench to admire the view of the park, forgetting to have brought an umbrella again, I received a text message.
—Noona—
<<I'm with Jin and his Gf at the coffee shop in Sangan station rn, Jin said he wants to see you. You better hurry your ass up here>>
I sighed and directly made myself on the way to them. Being able to see Jin again wasn't that bad, He was really fun to hang out with. Although his Loud personality could be irritating at times.
As I arrived in front of the coffee shop pretty quickly, I looked around for a place where I could safely put my bicycle. The street lamp seemed like a good spot, and just like that I pulled out the lock to Protect my White Bicycle for it to stay in place, but I struggled at first. I never really was skilled when it came to handy stuff, Things always seemed to break once they touched my hands for some reason.
After struggling for a good while and getting the lock done, I finally entered the Place. The coffee shop gave off an old-style vibe, having lots of plants around and Jazz music playing from the cassette player on the Counter. It wasn't hard to spot my sister and the others because Jin was basically ripping his arm off with how he was waving. I couldn't help but smile.
"I'm sorry for taking so long, My bicycle got stuck on the lock.." Jin greeted me with a tight hug that almost made me choke. After that I sat down next to my Sister and looked over to the three individuals in front of me, them being Jin, his Girlfriend Soo-ah, and...
The rain girl?
The expression on my face was clearly in confusion.
"This is my brother Kim namjoon. I suppose you've already seen each other?" Soo Yeon introduced me to her as she just nodded in agreement.
"She's my soon to be sister-in-law you know?" Jin had a proud look on his face while he wrapped his arm around her.
"Ah, yeah...nice to meet you" Still quite startled, I bowed down to her. All she did was bow back and that was all we really said to each other.
The rain girl was Jin's Girlfriend's Sister and went to my school? Now, these were quite some coincidences.
There was so much I wanted to ask her, but again, I kept quiet as I silently took a sip out of the coffee I ordered and listened to the others talking. The girl didn't seem interested in their talk but instead kept staring out the rainy glass wall. It's like she was living in her own world. It didn't take long for me to get sucked into it as well, I hadn't even noticed that I started looking out too, letting my thoughts roam free.
"Waah, it's like they're in their own coming of age movie, don't you think so?" Jin whispered over to both Noona's and they gave their attention to us. While I had noticed it, the girl didn't seem to have at all. She just kept on staring over there in depth.
The way her eyes sunk as she was drifting off with her thoughts looked familiar for some reason, but I couldn't tell where I had seen that expression before.
"It's getting late, isn't it?" Soo ah gave a glance at her phone, which showed that it was already over 8 p.m. She tapped her sister lightly on her shoulders, "Y/N, let's get going. You can rest at home"
"Her name's Y/N...it sounds nostalgic for some reason." I looked over to my sister, who just gave me a reassuring smile. "We should get going too"
Seeing her smile like that made me feel relieved. It had been quite a while ever since I last saw her so content.
After saying our goodbyes we all went our own way, and once I had entered home along with my sister, Something in my pocket started buzzing.
"I think someone's calling you-" Soo Yeon proceeded to say after taking off her jacket and plumping on the couch.
"Huh..you're right." I took out my phone, seeing that It was Taehyung who had called me, which was quite unusual.
"Who is it?" My sister turned her head curiously, she really didn't know how to stay out of others' business.
"It's Tae..." I bluntly replied and picked up while heading to my room.
"Sup. How's your break going, Hyung?" I hadn't heard his raspy voice in a long time, it felt comforting to hear him again.
"It's going well, kinda boring without you though. How are you and the others doing? Anyone got kicked out yet?" I had to sneer, The guys always caused trouble, it was a miracle how they were still allowed to attend school.
"Yeah, we've been well...Did I mention that I grouped up with a cute girl From History class?" His Wide grin even I could sense across the phone.
"You mean the one you've liked since freshman year? Congrats." I spat back, he always liked to show off.
"You knew?"
"Jimin told me about a week after I got a break I think. He said that the only thing you've been talking about was her. Who is she anyway?" Indeed I was curious. Most of the girls at our school were pretty regular, so she must've been quite special for Tae to fall for her.
"It's a secret, duh. We're meeting up for the project tomorrow though. How about you join us? "
I only shook my head, " I'm not even in the same history class, there's no reason for me to be there."
"Really? Cuz we'll be around that place you always hang out on. The library near Sangan park. I thought you might want to catch up and talk-" seriously, this guy only thought of slacking off even when it came to class projects.
But I decided to agree, Going to the library to read some books was something I really liked to do as well, especially at that library. so I pretty much couldn't refuse.
"Alright, Be there at 3. Jungkook and I will be waiting along the entrance. The girls will join a bit later." With that, he hung up.
I stretched my arms and got ready for bed. Once I turned off the lights, leaving only a night light on, I grabbed my current read "ways of seeing" By John Berger.
After about twenty minutes, My eyes comfortably drifted to sleep. Mainly due to the loud rain sounds coming from my window, with the thoughts of that mysterious rain girl, Whose name and Identity I knew now, running through my head.
Y/N's POV:
—NEXT DAY—
I had fallen asleep pretty quickly the previous night, really, once I had stepped into my room when I got back from the whole meet-up, I directly threw myself onto my bed.
Jin was nice enough to give us a ride home, he kept on bugging me the whole way back though, talking about how I should've tried to flirt with Soo Yeon's brother or whatever.
Right, her brother. Kim Namjoon. He was the reason for me feeling exhausted yesterday. It was just way too much information to process at a time. With all those leads, he really could be the person that I've been looking for. But strangely enough, I couldn't remember ever talking to him though, maybe due to the trauma and slight memory loss? I had no clue.
The Tv reporter got my attention while I was preparing lunch. He announced that it would stop raining for the whole next week and there would be sunny days up ahead. I sighed, 'great...'
My curiousness became greedier. I wanted to visit Sangan park on a rainy day again, just once, to see if he would show up again. There was so much I wanted to ask him. And asking Jin for his contact Definitely wasn't something I was going to do.
"Guess we won't see each other for a while-" I knew that I couldn't see him at school, Soo-ah had mentioned that he was taking a break for explicit reasons. Well, there wasn't anything I could do about it.
Instead, I tried to focus on the project meet-up today. I was looking forward to seeing Taehyung and maybe showing him more of my work, as well as trying to make it work out for seo jin and her prince in armor, Jungkook.
I put down two plates, because Seo jin would be coming over anytime soon. We decided that heading over to the library together would be better.
While preparing lunch I glanced at the time, 12 pm it was. Once I had finished the food and prepared everything on the table, a loud knock was heard from the door.
''Y/N!!!!'' A tight grip held onto me. It was Seo jin, who seemed to just have gotten out of the shower.
''you're making my clothes wet with your hair-'' I only laughed in response to her being so effective.
''I showered right after my volleyball morning training. Seriously, the coach was so mad today that he let us do spikes for two hours long. My arms feel so sore-'' She sighed while stretching her arms. Being the ass of her teams really must be exhausting.
''You and Jungkook really seemed to get along yesterday. He even asked you about your volleyball position'' I sat down on the dining table while trying to start a conversation and offered her the lunch I made.
Seo jin's eyes lit up at my words, ''I know, right?! We even exchanged numbers to discuss the project plans. I still can't believe that they voluntarily wanted to group up with us-'' She continued talking while stuffing her mouth with food and mumbling how good it tasted.
''I told you I had a good feeling-'' My mind kept wandering off as I ate, until there was something I remembered, ''By the way, do you know anyone called Kim Namjoon that goes to our school?'' asking Seo jin was pretty useful as she knew many people due to her club activities.
She paused for a second to think, ''hm...Oh! You mean Namjoon-ssi ? He's the one in our literature class, right? The really smart one. I heard he got a break from school though.''
My eyes widened, ''You know him?''
Seo jin only shrugged, ''Kind off. Back then when the volley club had to help out with the school library fest he was there too''
''I see...'' The thought of telling her about the encounter in Sangan park roamed through my mind, but I wasn't even sure if he was associated with the rain guy I was looking for at all, so I let it be.
Hours kept passing by as we chit-chatted and prepared some of the material for the project, until Seo Jin suddenly jumped up at the sight of her phone.
''J-Jungkook texted me!''
My eyes widened once again, ''What did he say?''
She started reading the message out loud, ''<<Are you already on your way? We'll be waiting in the library near Sangan station as planned. Also, a friend will be joining us, I hope you don't mind. Looking forward to seeing you ;) >>'' when she finished, Seo jin couldn't help but clench onto her heart.
''He sent me a wink emoji...call the ambulance Y/N, I require PCR asap''
(JK in the corner knowing that he stole all our hearts be like)
I only laughed, ''Let's get going then, we don't want to let your prince in armor wait any longer''
We both got up and grabbed our stuff, as I especially made sure not to forget my notebook, laptop, and red umbrella just in case it miraculously would start to rain. The subway drive didn't seem that long with Seo jin blabbering about how that winking emoji almost killed her in 50 different ways mentally and emotionally.
As soon as we could realize, our destination layed in front of us, the Sangan library. Its interior was as stunning as its exterior. The cozy couches and the stairways, decorated with plants all over, as well as the creamy beige and pastel-green colors that filled the rooms were astonishing. Not only was the library modern, but it also had a cafe attached to it. It was the perfect place to read and work indeed.

Seo jin looked around the cafe, trying to spot Jungkook and his friends, and she found them But not only that...
You see, there is a saying that tells, if you coincidentally meet the same person 3 times in a row, there's faith bonded between the two of you.
And there he was, sitting between his friends that we're supposed to meet up out of pure coincidence. There I saw him, for the third time. His bright dimples showing as he laughed, and his delicate hand stroking his platinum blonde hair.
It was for sure a day I could not forget, the day, my destiny showed itself.

A/N: There we go, another chapter completed. I hope you don't mind the long waiting time, instead I tried to make this chapter longer. From now on, the relationship between Y/N and Namjoon will start to form. As of Hoesok, for the ones who might be wondering, I have great side story plans with him.
