Jimin shot his eyes wide open like a bullet shot from a gun to take someone's life but he opened them to save the life of his lover or more like the life of his own like he said before there's no Jimin without Taehyung, he looked around at his surroundings he was in a dark forest alone by himself he panicked first as Halsey said he's supposed to wake up beside taehyung but he was nowhere to be found
He stood up from the ground and looked above him, tall trees covering most part of the pitch-black sky, in deadly silence of the forest something was ringing in his ear so slow to catch what it is, but as jimin was so familiar with it he quickly recognized the slow heartbeats of his love, he used to spend hours hearing the beautiful melody. he followed the voice in his ear
After walking for a while he ended up in front of a place which looked like an old destroyed Castle, only some part was recognizable with long bushes and tangled shrubbery, some pillars were still standing in the wreckage of the castle, the voice started getting louder and louder with every step he ended up in a room which wasn't fully destroyed
He took every step carefully walking in the darkroom the only source of light was the full moon in the dark sky, the goosebumps were appearing on his skin from every chill wind hitting his body
He covered his lips with the palm of his hand as he felt like someone snatched the air from his lungs leaving him breathless, taehyung was chained to the hard cold ground, with metal wires wrapped around his whole body tangled in the thorns that were piercing the soft skin he was hanging his head low "taehyung" jimin called his name that only came out as a whimper from the pain he felt in his heart seeing taehyung like that
Taehyung looked up like someone puts his soul back in his soulless body and he smiled through the pain crushing jimin's heart into a million pieces his chapped lips curled up into a smile that was covered in pain, jimin runs to him and fall on his knees in front of him cupping his face that was only free from the thorns the tears started to rush down from both of their eyes
"J-jim.." Taehyung tried to speak but his dry throat gave up in the middle jimin let out a painful sob with a nod of his head wiping his tears "g-go p...please" taehyung whispered out jimin shook his head "I have to save you" "y-you can't" taehyung said as his words disappear in jimin's chest when pulling him closer to his chest wrapping his arm around him like a pearl hiding in the shell, caring less about the thorns piercing his body "I will"
And once again it felt just like the old times, although this couldn't be further from the old times. A soft rose blossomed in the boys' hearts as they spend a split second in each other's arms. But the second didn't last for any longer as jimin felt piercing long nails jagger onto his scalp and push him away from his love
A pained scream escaped his lips as his hand followed the wound by instinct, he turned around and the sight truly terrified him to the soul "what do you think you're doing" she snarled green liquid spitting out of her crooked yellow teeth
Goosebumps rose on the shorter male's skin as the voice of the wicked lady standing ahead of him rushed through his ears "I-" he was unable to complete his sentence as a loud scream erupted through the empty walls of the broken castle
Jimin flinched at it, taking steps backward. But alas, he was slower than the ghost of his love's past. He shivered feeling her getting closer and closer as his back stumbled with the pillar behind him
She growled throwing herself at the shivering boy who put up his arms in defense "you will not get away from me" jimin struggled to keep her from harming him "I don't plan to" jimin uttered out. To which she laughed calming down stepped away from the panting guy
"Oh?" She spoke surprised by the boy's response "miss goody has a tongue huh?" Jimin chuckled "what made you think I don't? I have a beating heart and a life. Unlike someone" it was a wrong move there, but jimin wasn't scared
She laughed, her disturbing cackles echoing "I have your lover, speak wisely" that was enough to shut the other up "lost your voice now hmm?" She spoke in an empathetic voice which was obviously fake. Jimin stayed quiet his eyes following behind her over taehyung, who stared at him as if begging for him to leave
But he smiled softly at him, glancing back at her. He could sense she was planning to attack him but his wits were stronger than hers "we don't have to fight Maeve" jimin uttered out, staying on guard as he softly moved forward, cautiously
"Then why are you here?" She spoke as if stating a fact "look at him, is that love? You're hurting him" she glanced at taehyung, realizing the pain he was in. The blood drops and tears he shed, it all got to her
But she just wanted to keep him by her side. This was his punishment after all, for hurting her so much
Jimin saw her groggy eyes soften, and he took it as his chance to strike, he slowly walked towards her but she was quicker to turn around and let out one another scream jumping at jimin scratching him drawing blood but the pain wasn't anything
At least to jimin it wasn't, "stop!" Taehyung yelled his voice hoarse the yell only pained his throat further but he couldn't care less, his jimin was in pain and danger how could he just sit there and not do anything?
"Leave him alone Maeve" his voice faded at the end his throat giving up on him which only made him scream further, but it wasn't of any use as she continued to scratch and growl at the younger
But jimin made sure to not whimper, he knew it'll only make her feel good "DIE DIE DIE" she yelled in her ghastly voice, it was getting harder for jimin to contain her
She sprung her hand at jimin's face to scratch but he was quick to catch, her arm stretched out was a benefit to jimin as he could turn her over, and he did flipping her over gaining power finally
He held her wrist above her throat, it was difficult to keep her still, even though she looked frail and weak she was stronger than him. He panted running his hand through his clothes to find the dagger
Fear crawled upon his skin when he couldn't find it, panic started to rise in his throat as his breath got heavier feeling her getting stronger and his grip weakens
The only thing that could cross his mind was to smash her head with the brick that was lying inches away from him
And so he did holding the brick high as he shut his eyes hitting the lady's face with it, he could hear squelching sounds come as it made him sick to the stomach
He was in her world, where she wasn't just a spirit. She had a body only in this world though, he opened his eyes seeing black liquid scattered all over his hands and around the place
He stood up breathing shakily walking towards taehyung with limpy legs, he exhaled a deep breath which he was unaware of holding, tears fell from his eyes but no emotion was found on his face as he struggled to free taehyung from the chains
"Minnie" taehyung whispered but the said boy didn't look up sobbing harder, along with taehyung. He looked around the place to find the key
"I-it's...in her anklet" taehyung whispered. Jimin looked at the body of Maeve as he walked towards it hesitantly looking at her disgusting foot that was bent backward his breath shuddered as he crouched down to take the key off of the anklet, the anklet which taehyung has given her when they were young
She wrote about it in his diary, it was very dear to her. Jimin snatched the anklet off along with the key walking towards taehyung as he sat down to free him from the chains
And after what seemed like years be older was finally free from the chains as Jimin finally looked up at him chuckling softly, taehyung wiped his tears with his shaky thumb cupping the latter's face pulling him closer for a soft kiss
Their lips attached making jimin feel safe and at home in this terrible place, after a few seconds jimin pulled away whispering "we should get going" taehyung hummed, jimin wrapped his arm over taehyung's waist hanging taehyung's arm over his shoulder helping him walk
Jimin closed his eyes whispering Halsey's name as a glowy white door appeared in front of them. He walked towards it holding taehyung.....
Taehyung wide open his eyes as he met with Halsey's face staring back at him in worry "jimin?" He asked for his love as soon as he came back to his senses taehyung looked beside him where jimin was still laying with his eyes closed "jimin?" He shook his body "why he's not awake?" He asked Halsey panic creeping through his veins "he... He was behind me then why he's not awake?"
He asked again and again but only met with Halsey's dead silent like her lips were stitched together she was looking down with teary eyes and her silence hits his heart like hurricane winds tearing through the ocean killing taehyung.
