Xingqiu took notes on his maths book, highlighting certain words, numbers, phrases and more. He opened a bag of sour candies, only eating the green ones. He sighed and leaned back on his chair, turing his phone on. It was only 15 minutes since he messaged ice.
He turned on Spotify and played the song 'oh yeah, you gonna cry?' This song was performed by xinyan and Barbara, they had recently collabed due to xinyans good music writing and barbaras voice. He hummed to the melody and shut his eyes, not looking at the paper anymore.
He quickly got mesmerised by the melody, someone knocked on his door and he stumbled to turn the music off "yeah?" He asked, spinning around in his chair "hello xingqiu! Your mom said I could come round to help with homework!" Xiangling hopped into his room, shutting his door quietly "has he messaged?" She grinned
"Heh, only a little." Xingqiu turned on his phone "what did he say!?" Xiangilng sort-of yelled then grabbed his phone "you spoke to an IDOL about books!? Wait.. YOU PROMOTED YOUSELF TO AN IDOL!?" she handed his phone back "hey! Its not self promo its... good marketing.." xingqiu laughed, "hey, he posted to insta again" he smiled and checked his posts
It was basically just an image of a book taped to the ceiling, chongyun had a thumbs up, the caption was 'just read this book, 10/10 called the art of sword author is xingqiu but idk the last name to busy taping it to the ceiling.' Xingqiu showed it to xiangling "how did he get it so fast!?" She gasped "maybe he already had it!"
Xingqiu rolled his eyes "of course he already had it! I'm amazing at writing" he grinned "hm? Hold on he messaged again" xingqiu lay on his bed, xiangling sat on his chair and faced him

"Yeah, no shit. Id not do that unless he said I could, he responded!" Xingqiu stared at his phone

Chongyun blushed, he was getting his hair done by hutao "try not to fall in love with him.." she laughed, chongyun groaned "the concert will start in an hour, get changed" she smiled, patting his head
Chongyun rushed to get changed, he had an outfit to wear, it was tight and scratchy. He hadn't eaten today. He had only eaten like 3 things this last week. Well, fully eaten...
It felt like that hour passed very, very quickly. He fixed his hair and stepped out on stage, the crowd cheered and he glanced around at the people, not yet seeing xingqiu..
"How is everyone?" He asked through his microphone, smiling at the crowd, most yelled gibberish and few said 'good!' He glanced at everyone again, "thats great! I'm doing.. great!" He smiled and people yelled, "before the show starts i thought I'd do a QNA like I did on insta, cough.. sno.w...cough" he joked
"Anyone that wants to come up on stage?" He laughed, many people raised their hands, one caught his eye, a blue haired girl with hair hair shaped like break ears.. she was standing next to a short individual, he couldn't see their face though..
"You! Blue haired girl in the red hoodie with.. a bear hairstyle?" He pointed to her, she squealed and rushed up to the stage, he held his hand out to her and she chambered and smiled at him "question?" Chongyun smiled at her "uhm.. okay.." she paused "oh yeah! Where did you get your hoodie that you wore in those posts?" She smiled "oh! I got it.. well a while ago now heh.." he nervously smiled "i can't say I remember.. sorry, ill post it on twitter or insta after the show" he smiled "also I have a question for you!" He pointed to her "yeah?"
"Did you bring anyone with you?" He winked, she understood what he meant "yep! My bestfriend" she smiled "Well, I'm gonna hand you these then" he gave her two pins, one was official merch and the other was an unreleased one, the crowd cheered, he whispered to her while they did "your xiangling, right?", she nodded, he gave her a thumbs up and she rushed off stage to her friend
Chongyun felt sick, it was too hot and he was too nervous "sorry everyone im gonna have to go off stage for a sec!" He smiled and rushed out of sight, the crowd sadly yelled, he rushed to the bathroom and vomited, it was like his insides flew out of him.
He leaned against the wall and quietly sobbed, he heard a knock on the door "yunyun?"kazuha was on the other side "you okay?" He sat down against the door "my stomach hurts.. kaz.. I threw up again.." he covered his face, kazuha sighed "ill take over the QNA you get changed, until we have to perform you can recover, okay?" Chongyun couldn't see kazuhas face, yet, he could tell he was smiling.
Chongyun frowned "okay.." he flushed the toilet and stepped outside, walking into the dressing room, hutao rushed over to him "you okay? Need something to eat? Want your phone?" She handed him his phone "thanks tao.. but i don't need food.. I'm gonna go outside to get some air.." he pulled his phone out

Chongyun sat on the floor, soon he heard foot steps "hellooo?" Xingqiu walked around and felt someone grab his wrist and pull him to crouch down on the floor "its you!" Xingqius face lit up, chingyun smiled "im happy to meet you!" Chongyun let go of xingqiu
Chongyun quickly hugged him "sorry.." he groaned "I felt really ill and needed someone to talk to.." chongyun stopped smiling "why me?" Xingqiu sat next to him
"Because you have a calming voice.."
"Yeah?"
"Yep.. your also really cute.."
Xingqiu flushed, chongyun basically hadn't noticed what he said, he was busy staring into xingqius deep golden eyes..
Xingqiu choked "uhm.. if you don't mind.. may i?" He held onto chongyuns head, making him blush violently. They had been talking for weeks, chongyun nodded "but.. First.. I have to tell you something.. my name is chongyun.." he shyly looked away "thats a lovely name.." xingqiu drew their heads closer, massaging their lips together
Chongyuns eyes widened and he kissed back "sorry..!" Xingqiu pulled away "hm? Oh uhm.. its okay" chongyun smiled sweetly, "I have to go now.. where do you live?" There was a short pause "i live here!"
Chongyun smiled "good! Let's hang out tommorow.." he hesitated before he opened the door and before he did he kissed xingqiu on the head and rushed inside, leaving xingqiu shocked, he rushed back out and to xiangling his face was red yet to him it was burning hot.
"Xingqiu? Whyd you leave? And why is your face so red? And why-" Xiangling dramatically gasped "YOU LIKE- ahem.. you like ice!?" She whispered "not ice.. exactly... we'll talk after the concert" he smiled.
Ghosty and maple walked out on stage, "AYO ICE" ghosty yelled and ice walked out dragging a drum kit "im coming!" He repeated and set up, nodding to everyone "this first song was wrote by our amazing member ice! Everyone clap for him but after.." ghosty laughed and tapped her mic "3.2.1!"
They began performing the song he wrote, chongyun didn't care though, he has the drumming mesmerised to the beat, he was focused on what happened earlier.. did xingqiu actually like him..?
He blushed at the thought and his stomach tingled, he smiled and continued drumming to the beat, he hummed the lyrics to himself to remember.
'Its so depressing how the tear ducts in my eyes..' he lost himself to the music.
After a few more songs they left the stage, chongyun rushed to the room he was staying in and posted on Instagram

He shut his phone off and threw a hoodie noones ever seen him in on, he put fluffy boots on and rushed outside "where are you going?" Kazuha asked, putting his hair in a high ponytail "im meeting someone, ill be back in up to an hour bye!" He rushed out the door
Chongyun sat on a park bench, a face mask covering his mouth and his hood covering his hair, he watched people carrying stuff off stage, xingqiu sat next to him "hey yun yun! Let's go!" They held hands and xingqiu walked him to a lake. It was dark out and the water shone in the moons light.
"Wow.." chongyun sat down on a bench by the lake, its deep dark waters mesmerised him. "Its cool right?" Xingqiu sat next to him and listened to the waters, the brids that sat in the lake flapped their wings and fluttered away.
The boys locked eyes "about..uhm..the kiss" chongyun blushed and looked away "im sorry... I wasn't thinking.. " xingqiu sighed "no.. no i liked it..! I uhm.. does it mean that.. we're..?" Chongyun rubbed his head "I don't mind.." xingqiu smiled and held chongyuns hand for comfort
"Will you..?" Chongyun smiled at the boy in front of him, xingqiu sighed "maybe.. maybe we should wait a little bit!" Xingqiu smiled, chongyun frowned and sighed "yeah.. uhm, can we still hang out tommorow? You can bring xiangling! Ill bring hu- uhm.. ghosty" chongyun pulled his hand away from xingqiu and checked his phone "shit, I have to go..!" Chongyun stood up quickly
"Wait! Meet me at the park at 9 tommorow!" Xingqiu laughed as chongyun waved and stumbled away, he blushed and his heart raced was what he said a mistake? No normal person would say no to a IDOL. But, could xingqiu call himself 'normal'?
