Kara, Lena and Alex all walk back into the DEO hub command centre, Kara still wearing her new white Supergirl suit.
"Okay, so do we have a plan?" Kara asks.
Winn and J'onn turn around, and both grow surprised looks on their faces upon seeing Kara in her new white suit.
"Wow.... your suit is white..." Winn says, in kind of awe as to how good the suit looks in white, with a little color for the house of El crest.
"Yes, I only just finished making it today, so I didn't have time to really color it." Lena explains.
"But I like it like this." Kara says, with a smile, "It might get really dirty easy, but the white is very striking."
"Yeah, these two nerds were just saying how Kara in her white suit is like the resurrected version of Gandalf, Gandalf the white." Alex says, with a smirk.
"OH MY GOD!" Winn says, with a big smirk on his face, "That's sooooo true!"
Kara and Lena both grow smiles on their faces upon Winn agreeing with their assessment, while Alex shakes her head in fake disgust.
"Okay.... well...." J'onn eventually says, deciding to get them all back on track. "While you were gone, we were discussing some of the finer details of the attack on the bunker. We need to be prepared for whatever we may face. Like Lillian mentioned, it is likely that Lex has significant security devices installed in the facility, while it's just as likely that he has some armed forces as well."
"Yes, that's true." Lena nods, "He probably doesn't have any anywhere near the lab, or whatever, where he is holding Superman. He will want to enjoy being alone with Superman, and doing what he has done to him. But he will have security on patrol in all the areas leading to the place where he and Superman are."
Kara, J'onn and Alex nod their heads at the insight Lena just provided into her brother.
"Okay..... but there is one more thing that we need to consider." Alex says, getting a thoughtful look on her face.
"What is it, Alex?" Kara asks.
"Leviathan." Alex states.
J'onn, Winn, Kara and Lena all grow looks of remembrance on their faces. Ever since Kara was kidnapped by Lex their entire focus has been on Lex and Lillian, not Leviathan. However, they also know that Leviathan has been involved in all this too, helping Lex, even if one of their members did help Kara in the end.
"Yes..... they could be helping Lex..... Lex made it clear to me that they'd been helping him, even if there are some disagreements with that one Leviathan person who saved me." Kara says.
J'onn nods his head.
"It doesn't really matter either way. We need to be prepared for the unexpected, and that includes Leviathan. We are walking in to an armed fortress, as Alex puts it. This is going to be a hard fight, but if we work together, as a team, we will all get out of their safely, with Lex in custody, and with Superman still alive." J'onn says, in a sort of encouraging speech.
"Yeah, okay." Alex nods.
Kara grows a smile on her face.
"I thought I was the one who is supposed to give the hopeful speeches." Kara smirks.
Lena, Alex, Winn and even J'onn chuckle upon Kara saying that. But after a few seconds, they all go quiet again.
"Kara, Alex, can I speak to you both, alone, for a few seconds?" J'onn asks.
"Uhhh.... sure..." Alex says, looking to her sister, in a slight confused voice.
Kara, J'onn and Alex all then walk into a private conference room, away from Winn and Lena. J'onn has done this because he needs to say something to the two sisters before everything happens, just to make sure of things.
"Okay...." J'onn begins, with a deep breath, "So I wanted to speak to you both alone, away from Winn and Lena, because this situation with Lex is a personal one for you both. So, I just wanted to make it clear to you both, we need Lex alive. We can't let out baser instincts take over, and seek out revenge. Believe me, I understand how you two both must be feeling, but you can't seek vengeance."
Alex and Kara look at one another, before then turning to look back at J'onn.
"I understand what you are saying, J'onn." Kara says, "And Lena and I have already talked about this, and I won't do that. I'm not a murder. But, if it comes to it, and I have to do something to save my life, or Kal's, that results in Lex's death, then I'll do it. But I'm not going to kill him out of vengeance. Lena might hate Lex, but I'm not sure how she'd feel towards me if I'm the person that kills her brother. I don't want Lex's death to ruin me and Lena's relationship, he's already caused us too much harm."
J'onn nods his head at Kara, before then turning to look at Alex. Alex is silent for a few moments, before she then sighs.
"You have no idea just how much I want to punish Lex. But I don't think killing him would make me feel better for all he has done to everyone, and the pain he has inflicted on our family. I'm not a murder either, but I can't say that I'll be gentle if we do arrest him." Alex says.
"Fair enough." J'onn replies, nodding his head.
J'onn, Alex and Kara all then share one last look before leaving the conference room, and returning back to Lena and Winn at the DEO command centre.
"Everything okay?" Lena asks, curiously.
"Yeah." Kara nods, "J'onn just wanted to make sure that Alex and I don't do anything crazy, to Lex."
"Right." Lena replies, nodding her head in understanding.
"Okay.... so I think we are ready." J'onn says, after a few moments silence.
"I'm coming with you all." Lena says.
"No." J'onn, Kara and Alex all say in unison.
"Lena, we can't put you in danger like that. You are not a fighter, you are not a trained agent, or someone with super powers." Kara says.
"But he's my brother, Kara." Lena basically pleads, "I know him better than anyone else here. I could potentially spot things that maybe someone else will miss."
"Lena, I can't allow that. I can't allow a civilian to be put in danger like that." J'onn says.
"You let me come when Lillian had Alura!" Lena protests.
"That was different. Lillian is not Lex, and Lex does not have your child right now." J'onn replies.
"Then if you are worried about any legal thing, let me sign whatever you need me to sign, to say this is my choice, and the repercussions are my own, and not on the DEO." Lena pleads.
Kara looks at Lena for a few seconds, seeing the desperation on the brunette's face, seeing that Lena really wants to be there, if only to hopefully help protect everyone.
"Lena, come here." Kara says, taking hold of one of Lena's hands, and then pulling her away from the command centre.
Lena allows Kara to lead her away, and then the two walk inside the conference room, again for Kara.
"Kara, I know what you are going to say." Lena begins, "But I need to be there, to keep you all safe. If something happened, then I could never live with myself."
Kara nods her head, understanding what Lena is getting at.
"I know Lena." Kara says, "But, you also have to remember, we have a daughter. You are Alura's legal other mother now. We have to think about her. We can't put both of us at risk. If something happens to one of us, then Alura will need the other. Neither of us want to leave Alura alone, without either of her parents. So, I'm asking you to stay behind, for Alura. I have powers, and this amazing suit. I need to be the one going into danger today. You need to be the one staying safe, just in case."
After Kara finishes speaking, Lena looks at her beautiful girlfriend for a few moments, with tears in her eyes. Lena knows that what Kara said is right. Lena was just thinking about how she wanted to keep everyone going into Lex's bunker safe, and not thinking about her daughter, or the dangers of everything. But Lena knows that Alura must be her priority. Lena signed those adoption documents knowing that if something happens to Kara, then Alura will be hers, alone, and she will happily do that. So, Lena can't risk Alura having neither parent.
"O....okay..." Lena eventually says, deflated, "But.... I want to stay on the comms... with Winn."
Kara nods her head, and then takes Lena in for a hug, holding her tightly.
"Of course." Kara says, placing a kiss on the top of Lena's head, "I love you."
"I love you too." Lena replies.
Kara and Lena hug for the next few minutes, taking in every second, both knowing the dangers that Kara will face. Obviously Lena hopes this isn't their last hug, but she knows that it could be, so she wants to take it in as long as possible, savouring every moment.

Meanwhile, back at Lex's bunker facility, the insane Luthor is walking back into the level of the bunker which he has used these last several hours to house Superman. Lex has just finished arming all his bunker's defences, and talking to the goons he employs, preparing for an assault. Lex might be insane, but he isn't stupid, he knows that sooner or later the DEO and Supergirl will find out where he is hiding, and that is exactly what he wants. The simple reason that Lex hasn't killed Superman already is not only because he wants to enjoy the satisfaction of torturing the hero that has thwarted him so many times in the past, but because he is luring Supergirl into a trap. Lex doesn't want to take out just one super today, but two. Then after that, only one half-Kryptonian will remain, and the child will be easier.
"How are you doing, Kal-El?" Lex says, with a smirk, walking into the red sunlight room, where Superman is still chained to the walls.
Superman spits blood onto the floor, while his body is badly wounded from all the torture he has had to endure. Right now, thanks to the red sun lights, Superman has enough of his powers to withstand more torture than a normal human, but not enough of his powers to break free of his chains.
"You won't get away with this, Lex." Superman says.
Lex laughs.
"Who says I want to get away with it?" Lex smirks, "That has been the problem with all my plans in the past. I have always limited myself, because I have left myself an out, so that I could go free, or get away with things. Needless to say, of course, that hasn't always been the case, my several lifetime prison sentences proving that. But today, I have no outs. I have no intention of getting away with anything. I intend to rid all Kryptonians from this planet, once and for all. After that, I'll happily live the rest of my life, in whatever prison or black site the government throws me in."
As Clark hears Lex say that, he grows an uneasy feeling in his stomach, because this is a Lex he has not seen before. Lex might be coming across right now as a bit unhinged, and crazy, but he's not. Clark knows that Lex is still in control, and calculating everything, and that makes him very dangerous.
"You know..... Supergirl and I are not the only aliens with powers living on this planet. There are others. Others who will come with Supergirl and the DEO when they find you. Aliens you can't stop with kryptonite." Clark says.
Lex lets out another chuckle.
"Oh, I know that." Lex smirks, "I believe it was you yourself that called the current director of the DEO, Hank Henshaw, or more accurately, J'onn J'onzz, as the most dangers being on this planet, other than yourself."
Clark now grows a surprised look on his face, shocked that Lex has somehow got his hands on information that should be privileged to top government officials.
"My friends at Leviathan provided me with that info, long ago." Lex explains, seeing Superman's surprised face.
Clark grows annoyance on his face upon hearing that, wishing that he'd done more to help Kara and the DEO take down Leviathan, rather than focusing more on finding Lex.
"But anyway, J'onn J'onzz is quite impressive. And I have to agree with your assessment, other than yourself, and now Supergirl, he might just be the most dangerous being on the planet. He doesn't have a weakness to some rock, like you do. He does have an inherent fear of fire, and is vulnerable to that, but fire is hard to employ as a useful tool to use against someone." Lex explains, "So, I have had to come up with some more creative methods, to make sure that the Martian doesn't interfere here."
"What did you do, Lex?" Superman asks, feeling uneasy again.
Lex grows a big smirk on his face.
"If I couldn't find a weakness I could use, then the next best thing is for me to distract him." Lex says, "And thanks to your capture, and the helpful video I made of us, I've been able to stir quite a lot of people up on the dark web. A lot of them are waiting for a spark, to then fan the flames, and I'm that spark. But I knew that any half competent person at the DEO could track what people are talking about on the dark web, so over these last few weeks I've made my own contacts, ones that will fan the flames in person."
"Fan the flames of what?" Clark asks.
Lex chuckles again.
"Chaos." Lex replies, "Chaos against aliens. As after all, the DEO exists to not only protect humans against dangerous aliens, but protect aliens against humans. So how will they be able to spare people to come and save you when across the country there are attacks on aliens, ragging into the thousands."
"Even if you do that, Supergirl will still come for me." Clark says.
"And that is what I am planning on." Lex smiles, "See, you can thank your cousin for how effectively I've been able to contain you, under these red sun lights, which have allowed me to torture you to more extremes than a human could withstand. I learnt from Supergirl, and adjusted things accordingly. But I also learnt about just how much kryptonite exposure I would need to kill her, and how much I'd need to remove her powers, or weaken her to a degree. It was all very useful data, which I have used for my defences of this facility. Needless to say, when Supergirl arrives, she'll be like a lamb to slaughter."
Clark has another bad feeling in his stomach upon hearing Lex say that, obviously not wanting his cousin to walk into a trap that will get her killed, just to save him.
"You underestimate her, Lex." Clark begins, wanting to provoke Lex in hopes of him making a mistake, "And I admit, I have too. Supergirl has done things which even I never thought would be possible. In the short time that she has put on that cape, and been a hero, she has got more control of her powers, and her position as a hero, than I did at her age, or I even do now. She and I were both born on Krypton, but I didn't really live there, she did. And I think with that, it has made her more powerful than I will ever be. So, whatever you have planned, whatever kryptonite you have, she will stop you. You WILL fail."
Lex turns and looks at Clark again, with an angry look on his face, before then quickly running over to the super, grabbing his kryptonite laced knife on the way.
"NO, I WON'T!" Lex roars, sinking the knife into Superman's gut.
Superman groans in significant pain.
"Your little cousin is no match for me, just like you weren't. Even if she makes it through my defences, she will then face me, and what I have in store for her, and she will be too weak to stop me. Then once I have beaten her, and she is nothing more than a limp, barely clinging onto life, body, I will bring her in front of you. I will have you beg me to not kill her, beg me to kill you instead. But I will then sink this blade..." Lex says, as he twists the knife, causing Superman more pain, "right through her heart, right in front of you. Then only after that, once your cousins cold body lies at your feet, will I finally end your miserable existence. You will only die with my permission."
Lex twists the knife even more into Superman's gut, and the pain becomes so much that Superman falls unconscious.
"Huh, pitiful." Lex says, shaking his head, and then removing the knife.
Lex then looks at the unconscious Superman for a few seconds, still holding the blade in his hands. It is so tempting for Lex to just kill Superman now. Even though Lex told Superman about what will happen to Supergirl he knows there is still the small chance she will stop him, and if she does, then he will have lost a prime opportunity to at least kill Superman. However, Lex has always been a gambling man, and in the past, it has paid off for him in many aspects. So, as tempting as it would be to end Superman here and now, Lex waits. Lex wants to have the satisfaction of torturing his arch rival even more, by having him watch his cousin die.
After a few more seconds of Lex just looking at Superman, he puts the blade down on a table, before then turning around and leaving the room.

"Okay? So does everyone know their roles?" J'onn asks, as all the DEO agents are gathered in front of him, with Alex, Lena and Supergirl standing at his side.
"Yes, sir." The several DEO agents say.
"Good. Roll out now to the airport, and you will arrive in Metropolis in 2 and a half hours' time. Supergirl and I will fly there separately, and I will take agent Danvers with me. Agent Vasquez, you're in charge until Danvers and I arrive in Metropolis." J'onn says.
"Yes, sir." Agent Vasquez says, nodding her head.
The team of DEO agents then all quickly exit the DEO, all getting into corresponding DEO vehicles which will take them to an airport, where they will then fly to Metropolis on a military plane.
"Alright. I'm going to go back to Winn and check for any updates." J'onn says, turning to look at Lena, Alex and Kara. "Meet back here within the next hour."
"Okay." Kara says, nodding her head.
J'onn then goes off into another room, leading back to the DEO command centre. Once the three ladies are alone, they all look at one another.
"So, what should we do now?" Alex asks Lena and Kara, feeling both nervous, and some tension in her body.
"I think...... we should go see Sam, Alura and Ruby, just in case." Kara replies.
"Yeah." Lena agrees, even though the thought of that hurts her heart so much.
"Okay." Alex nods.
"Uhh.... I'll fly you there to our penthouse first Alex, and then I'll come back for you Lena, okay?" Kara says.
"Sure." Lena smiles.
Kara nods her head, and then turns to look at her sister.
"Ready?" Kara asks Alex.
"Yeah, let's go." Alex says.
Kara quickly grabs Alex in her arms, and then flies out of the room, leaving Lena alone. Kara then returns about 2 minutes later.
"Okay, you ready now?" Kara asks.
"Yes, darling." Lena smiles.
Kara takes Lena into her arms, bridal style, and the two then fly out of the DEO and land on their penthouse bedroom balcony a minute later.
"You, okay?" Kara asks, as she places Lena on her feet.
"Yeah." Lena nods, in an unconvincing voice, "I just wish this were under better circumstances."
"Yeah, me too." Kara nods back, "I really wish we were on our holiday right now, even if we would be running around Disney like mad women, seeing all the stuff Alura wants to see and do."
Lena chuckles.
"I'm sure the food would have let you keep your energy up." Lena smirks.
"Yeah, but food at Disney costs a fortune. I doubt I would have been able to buy much." Kara replies.
"It's lucky you have a billionaire girlfriend then, isn't it?" Lena smirks back, "You could, and will, be able to buy whatever you like darling, even if I have to buy you and Alura the entire theme park."
Kara smiles at Lena, lovingly.
"I love you." Kara says, and then takes Lena in for a kiss.
"I love you too, darling." Lena replies, with a happy smile.
Kara and Lena then share a brief moment together, looking in one another's eyes, before they eventually part.
"Okay, shall we go and see our daughter?" Kara eventually says.
"Yeah, let's go." Lena replies.
The two girlfriends walk hand in hand out of their bedroom and make their way downstairs, where they can hear Sam, Alex, Ruby and Alura talking.
"Momma, mommy!" Alura says upon seeing Kara and Lena enter the living room, going running over to them.
"Hello, darling." Lena smiles.
Alura takes Lena in for a hug first, before then moving over to Kara, and hugging her too. After a few seconds, Alura backs away, and looks up at Kara, with a confused look on her face.
"Why is your suit white?" Alura asks.
Kara chuckles.
"Momma made me a new suit to protect me better." Kara explains, "She didn't have time to color it. But I kind of like it this way."
"I like it too." Alura nods, with a smile herself now.
"Wow.... cool suit aunt Kara." Ruby says, now looking over to Kara, while Sam and Alex have a private conversation away from her.
"Thanks Ruby." Kara smiles, twirling around to give Ruby a good look of it, "But all the compliments need to go to your aunt Lena, as she was the one that made it."
"That's so cool aunt Lena." Ruby says, "Do you think you could make me one?"
Lena lets out a dry chuckle.
"You're not a super hero though." Lena replies.
"It'd still be cool to have one!" Ruby quickly replies.
Lena laughs once more.
"I'll see what I can do." Lena says back to the almost 13-year-old.
"Mommy, momma, is it over now? Can we go on holiday?" Alura asks, sweetly.
Kara and Lena both look down at their daughter with sympathetic looks on their faces. Ruby, seeing this, and hearing Alura's question, backs away, wanting to give Kara, Lena and Alura their privacy.
"No, it isn't, honey." Kara says, crouching down to Alura's height.
Lena crouches down as well.
"But we are about to go and save uncle Clark, as soon as some other people are ready." Kara explains, "And after that, then we can go on holiday."
"O...okay..." Alura replies, with some sadness, and a bit of fear, in her voice.
Kara and Lena look at one another, and then both take Alura in for a hug.
"We love you, so much Alura." Lena says.
"Yeah, so so much." Kara adds.
"Love you too." Alura replies.
The little family continue to hug for the next few minutes, taking in all their love and affection for one another. The three of them get so lost in the moment that they don't hear when Alex gets a phone call.
"Guys...." Alex says, loudly, getting Kara and Lena's attention.
Kara and Lena end their hug with Alura, and then stand up to their feet, looking to Alex, who has a very worried look on her face.
"What is it, Alex?" Kara asks, confused.
"The DEO is getting hundreds of different reports of attacks on aliens, happening across the country." Alex says.
Lena and Kara both look at each other with shocked looks on their face, each knowing that this is part of Lex's plan.
