"A Flower?"
I reach into the mailbox and pull-out a rose it was a light yellow. There was a small note on it that said, 'For Y/N'. Not going to lie this was a little creepy I can't really think of anyone that would put a rose in my uncles' mailbox. I keep hold of the rose and grab the other boring mail and make my way back to the house.
I walk inside and lay their mail on the dining room table and head to my room to ponder this rose. I sit on my bed and lay the rose on my dresser. I grab my phone and turn it on then I'm faced with my contacts specifically Tommys.
I decide to message him mainly because I had nothing else to do.
'Hey Tommy its Y/N you know the person you walked home last night just thought I would message you so you can save me in your contacts :D'
I hit send and stare at my message for a little while. I see that he started typing and I sit and patiently wait for him to reply.
'Hey Y/N I'm actually happy you messaged me a couple of my friends and I are going out to film a video for my YouTube channel in a bit and we need one more person I know we just met and all, but would you mind joining us?'
I pause for a moment before replying with,
'I'd have to ask my uncle but yeah I'll do it'
'K thanks I'll be there to pick you up in an hour or so'
I put my phone down and walk out of my room to see if Phil was somewhere to be seen. I lean my head against Phils door and hear him talking to his chat. I knock and open the door.
"Phil, can I go and hang out with a friend later" Before he could reply I hear my name yelled from his headphones. Phil looks at me the waves me over to him. I walk over and he asked the person that said my name how they knew me. I could somewhat hear it come from his headphones but the person who I now know is Tommy said that we met at that party I went to. He also admitted that he was that friend that ask me to hang out. I was just standing there awkwardly while trying to listen to Tommy through Phils headphones.
'He seems so different then when I met him' When I met him, he was sort of awkward not as talkative as I'm seeing him now.
I've kind of zoned out so I missed most of the conversation Phil and Tommy were having but all I heard was 'you can go'. That took me out of my daydreaming state I look over at Phil and smile. I wrap my arms around him into a hug then leave the room. I walk to the kitchen to see Kristen on her laptop I'm guessing moderating on my way there. I open the fridge and try to find something to eat before Tommy and his friends come to pick me up.
Time Skip
I'm sitting on the couch when I hear a car pulling into the driveway. I look out the window to make sure its them and sure enough I see Tommy stepping out of the car. I yell to Phil and Kristen that I'm leaving and walk outside. I smile as Tommy holds the car door open for me. I get up to him and say a small 'Hey' as I get in the car. I slide into the middle and Tommy got in after me. He shuts the door, and we pull out of the driveway. Thats when I take my chance to look at everyone, I look first at the driver seat and the person I see is the one and only Wilbur Soot. I look at Tommy then back at Wilbur, Tommy just shook his head and laughed a bit. I drag my eyes over to the passenger seat to see a freakishly tall human. Then finally I subtlety looked beside of me to see finally a normal size human he was around the same height as me maybe a little shorter.
I look over at Tommy and start talking to him.
"What's the video going to be about?" He looks at me.
"It's just a hide and seek video were going to split into teams and well play hide and seek" I nod and look back at the road in front of us.
We start going down a dirt road and end up at a clearing in the woods. This felt like something out of a horror movie. Will stops the car and we start getting out I'm the last one out of the car. I stretch out from being stuck in the same spot for a little while. I look around it's just a full circle there's a clear inner then It's just woods. I follow them as we make our way into like the middle of the circle. I see Will holding a duffle bag and he unzips it to reveal a few cameras he hands everyone a camera. I hold onto the camera and just listen to their conversation.
They didn't really talk about anything interesting so I decide to sneak of well they could see me if they wanted to, I just went to a tree. I look up the tree and start climbing it I get to a pretty high branch and sit on it. I watch as Will pulls out a bigger camera and starts filming Tommy, I realize that the camera is also facing me. I just start doing stuff seeing who would notice me first. I use all the strength in my legs and flip upside down. Thats when the freakishly tall guy whose name, I found out listening to their conversation, so Ranboo was the one who noticed me and pointed me out. Tommy turned around to look at me, I wave at them.
"What are you doing?!" I hear Tommy yell. I laugh and fall it wasn't that high of a fall, so it didn't hurt all that much. I stand up and brush myself off and see them walking over to me. I meet them halfway.
We finish the intro to the video and start picking teams. I was teamed up with Tubbo for the first round. Where the first ones to hide, were given a minute to find a hiding stop when the boys start counting me and Tubbo run in different directions to throw them off on who went where. I jog through the woods and stop to see and hole in a tree. I have the camera facing me as I curl into this hole.
I could hear myself breathing that's how quiet it got I was going to move and get more comfortable, but I stopped myself when I heard a loud stick crack. I cover my mouth and watch as a pair of shoes sort of pass by.
A couple minutes pass and I let out a deep breath and then I just see Tommy jump out of nowhere. I scream but then burst into a giggle fit.
I stop laughing and Tommy helps me out of the hole in the tree. I hold the camera and wipe some leaves off of me.
We start our walk back to the starter area where we find Tubbo,Ranboo,and Wilbur talking. Then we start the next round. This time I'm partnered up with Tubbo and Wilbur to find Ranboo and Tommy. This seemed pretty easy since there tall as fuck so it will probably be hard to hide anywhere. I step into the woods and start looking around for any sign of any of them.
Time Skip
Where on the last round and I'm paired up with Tommy to hide. I feel him tap my shoulder and start whispering to me. We decided to hide together since the sun was setting. They started counting and I follow Tommy into the woods. We find the sort of stick pyramid that we squished ourselves into. I was basically sitting on top of him, but he didn't seem to mind. Thats when we went really quiet not wanting to make any noise. I hold the camera in my hands close to my face.
It feels like forever when me and Tommy decide to change our hiding spot because this spot was starting to get uncomfortable.
I squeeze myself out trying not make too much noise. As soon as Tommy stood up, we heard a twig snap. I feel him grab my hand and pull me behind a tree with him. He made it that I was standing in front of him my hands were put against his chest and his hands wrapped around my waist. I could feel my face start to heat up.
"I could has sworn I heard them over here" I could hear Tubbo say.
"Let's just go check somewhere else Tubbo well find them eventually"
Thats when we hear footsteps go in the opposite direction of us. Thats when I feel Tommy loosen his grip on me. I guess he realized how he was holding me and let go. I backed up a little bit trying not to make noise.
"Sorry" I hear Tommy whisper I just nod and take a breath not noticing I wasn't breathing that whole time. Tommy looks in the way back to the main area.
"Follow me" he says before leading me that way, I follow him.
We get to the tree line and look around and see no one there. Then I look over at Tommy and see him offering me him hand I take it and he whispers,
"Get ready to run" I nod, and he does a quick 1...2...3 countdown and we sprint in the direction of the car. We get to the car and Tommy lets go of my hand pulling out key from his pocket. He presses a button to unlock the car doors. Then we slide in the backseat.
After a little bit being in the car Tommys phone starts to ring. He looks at it and its Tubbo he answers it and puts it on speaker.
"Yeah"
"Where the fuck are you guys' weave looked everywhere"
"You sure you've looked everywhere?"
"Yes, weave check every inch of these woods" Tommy pauses and I speak up and say something.
"Who said we were in the woods?" The I hang up on them. I chuckle and lean back in my seat.
"Wills going to kill us"
"Hey this was your idea Tommy..."
It wasn't too long until we hear knocking on the windows. I jump at the knocking but grab the keys from Tommy and unlock the doors for them. Then they all start getting into the car.
"You guys are stupid" Wilbur says in a joking manner. Then he holds his hand out for his keys. I toss them into his hand, and he starts the car. We start backing out and heading back to the main road.
We get on the main road and start on our way to drop everyone off. We pull up to Tubbos house where I guess Ranboo was also staying because he got out with him. We pull out of there and start heading to Phils house.
We get there and I get out and Tommy gets out with me I look at him and see him looking at Will. I shake my head and head up to the porch Tommy still following me I stop at the door and wait for Tommy thinking maybe he wanted something. He steps in front of me and looks back at Wilbur then at me. I just notice he's holding something behind his back, and he pulls it out.
It's a rose a red one I take it from his hand and smile. I feel my face start to warm up again.
"I know it seems a little soon considering we have only known each other for a couple days but I was hoping I could well take you out...sometime" I could feel my heart beating and I started stumbling over my words.
"Well, I uh well I mean yes yes I would love to" I don't know where I got this sort of confidence, but I got on my tippy toes and lay a soft kiss on his cheek, before he could say anything else I opened the door and said a quick 'bye' shutting it pretty much in his face. I take a deep breath and hold the rose with both of my hands. I put my nose close to the rose and let the aroma of it fill my nostrils.
I was so focused into the rose that I didn't notice Kristen standing there. When I finally notice her, she is standing there smiling like an idiot. I chuckle nervously,
"I think I know who it is, but I want you to tell me"
I sigh
"Fine...its..its Tommy..."
