*The day when riddhima's father died *

I was numb
When i get the news of his dead
Rive my godfather he is no more my fathers bestfriend and the one who i spend more and more time with in my twenties he was practically a father to me
He always used to say one thing that actually gave me the strength to be here
Be you and just be you if you made any mistake don't worry we learn from our mistake
His words were always what human needs to grow to have strength and to walk by yourself
He was a great motivation for me
But when i saw his dead body my heart twisted in pain and my throat felt so hard like it was closing my eyes were glossy as I unfold the scenes through my eyes
Dad was the one more vulnerable then me after all he was dad's bestfriend
Few drops of tears gathered his cheeks and this made the tears in my eyes to dropped which i quikly pushed away with rough hands
People says boys don't cry but men does
"Don't cry dad he is in better place now" i said to dad
He sigh and nodded in agreement

He told me as he gaze up to the sky
We both heard a scream as both dad and me turned to who made the sound

But seeing her like that made me question is she grown up enough to face the pain of losing a parent?

And i felt so bad

And it must be hard for her that she just lost her father
My heart tugged as i remember rives words from three days ago
"Doctors said that i have only little chance to live now vansh my heart has gotten weaker then before and i have completely gived up just a little request take care of my little angel when I'm gone vansh i know she will be angry with me but i know i would not make it if i do the surgery and now all i want from you is to take care of her in my absence vansh"
"But you can't give up rive there still is 15% chance not zero think about riddhima at least you can't give up rive "
" Vansh I know my boy when I'm not feeling too well about the surgery this will surely go wrong I have a gut and I'm old enough to understand that boy " he replied to me
"No rive no this all are bullshit let me call dad and we will be leaving for Florida this week then I will see who you are gonna fight stubborn man" I joked a little to made his mood light

"There is nothing gonna happen to you rive and if you're too much concerned I will take care of riddhima more than I have ever done for anybody if it's makes you feel better" I promised
A long sigh was heard from the other side

My heart twisted again i close my eyes and sigh
I need a escaped from here this place seems to suffocate me the more i stay here

Sliding my hands in my pocket i brought my phone in my hand and saw the caller ID

Receiving the call i clear my throat
"There seems to an emergency with our office in NYC " his voice brust through my phone

"You know i can't come angrey untill the funeral whatever it is sort it out by yourself " i ordered
" Yeah I know but vansh Mr. Depp and your next meeting is tomorrow itself and you need to leave now if you don't want to be late I will asked the manager of management to ready everything for you "
I sigh in frustration
"Asked them to ready my jet"
"Okay sir" he said and i rolled my eyes
Walking to where dad is i sigh
"Dad i need to leave for new York i can't cancelled the meeting with Depp " i said
"Oh okay then i will manage everything in here will you be back for funeral?"
"I will see if i can but i don't think so " i say

With a nod i leave from the place from all the cries

Everything is strange isn't it? How it feels when someone close to yours actually leave you for forever

"I'm not little anymore bro I'm already 21 and yeah my day was as usual nothing special but you know what i met ridz oh my gosh was she beautiful but sadly angrey carried her to her new room as she was sleeping but you know what big brother i think we will be best friend I'm so happy now that she will be living here with us " she said her eyes lit up like a Christmas tree
That's what i love about my precious angel she is so sweet she has been homeschooled because when she was kid people used to bully her alot so we decided to homeschooled her
And she is like always living in a shell not coming out as I'm the only sibling she have doesn't help as well I try to give her every time I have but still I'm a business man and I'm always busy

" I'm sure she will be your friend as well but now let me fresh up little one I have somewhere to be by mid night " i said and she nodded her head with a huge grin
I smile and kissed her forehead before pulling away and head to where the stairs was
After I went upstairs I decided to fresh and up as I have somewhere to be after dinner
So I went to shower and dressed myself in another suite
Spraying some cologne I went out of my room and As I was walking the hall my eyes went to one if the guest room we have and remember mom saying to prepare it as it's gonna be her room from now
Checking the time in my watch I decided to knock the door Incase she is afraid or uncomfortable to come out
As I knocked the door it immediately open revealing her
And our eyes meet as her big brown eyes widen at first to see me as if completely off guard
And her big brown eyes scanned me from my toe to up
I raised my eyebrows at her as I saw her checking me out
And a deep red crimson color blushed her cheeks as she caught my eyes
"Uhmm—huh excuse me" her smoothy voice broke the silence as she blushed even more

And her eyes light up a little as the tense atmosphere started to fade
" I'm vansh i think you don’t remember me well but when i last properly saw you.. You were just ten that time and i just caught a glance of you on Rive's but it was just for a second nice to meet you riddhima you have grown to a gorgeous women " I said to her
But somehow that made her mood to fall a little

"It's dinner time now don't you think we should go and meet others at downstairs everyone is waiting I'm sure " I insist and she nods her with that I lead her down the stairs
As we went downstairs i saw mom dad and ishani talking and chit chatting but then my eyes went to the lady who is sitting there as well

When she heard us coming she turned her head towards us and stand up as she started to come to me I meet her halfway and she embrace me pulling away she gave me a peck on the lips
And smiles "I missed you babe " she said
I smile and said " I missed you too angel" and she hugged me again
" mom look ridz is awake oh my gosh she is so beautiful " i heard ishani's voice
Then i remember riddhima is besides me i look at her and she is looking at us with curious gaze "oh my god my little angel has grown you are looking more beautiful now ridz" i heard my mother's voice as she rushed to her side and give her a hug ishani join as well
"You remember me anni oh god you haven't changed you are looking beautiful as always" riddhima said as she look at my mother a huge smile on her face her dimples pop us as she does

And then she look at ishani and said "i think you are ishani i have heard so much about you from papa " she said to my sister
"You don't remember me riddhima hmmph " my sister fake pouted her lips and my mother and riddhima laughed out loud
"Babygirl she was so small when she met you she met your mom quite some time so she remember her " i heard my father's voice now as he come to stand infornt of riddhima and without a second riddhima jumped to my father's arms as he wrapped his arms around her as well
I love there bond dad has been visiting them every weekeand but from last two years he couldn't make it as he started to help me with my work there as well but he didn't lost touch as we did so they have a beautiful bond
I heard a soft sniff
Wait she is crying? I look at her to see both my mom and sister protectively wrapped there arms around them where she is hugging my dad tightly
It must be very painfully for the little girl
It's must be so hard for her It's been two days so of course she needs some time to adjust the fact that rive is no more
" we are here Princess you are just like ishani to me to us so don't cry i know rive isn't there anymore but you have us now"
Dad said as he rubbed his hand on her back
" yeah look ridz you lost uncle riv but now you have vansh, me, mom dad and angrey as well we will love you unconditionally " my sister murmurd and i felt sophie to wrapped her arms around me
I look at her and she give me a complaining look as ishani count angrey but didn't mentione her ishani didn't like sophie i don't know the reason why
I give her a look that said please bear with it and she sigh softly and give me a soft small smile
that's what i love about the women she has a beautiful nature
She is very understanding women
They pulled away and mom Crack a funny jock that made riddhima to laugh and blush
I heard sophie to clear her throat oh i forget to introduced her
"Uhm riddhima this is my fiancée sophie " i told her and she look at sophies ring finger and look at me in the eyes again
Sophie forward her hands to riddhima and she took it
"Nice to meet you sophie I'm riddhima you can call me as ridz everybody call me by that " she said and give her a smile
"Likewise ridz " Sophie replied
And then they shook hands
"Okay guys enough of this formalities ridz Let's go I'm starving and I'm sure you must be as well" ishani said and then took ridz away from us they both sat down besides each other infornt of mom and dad
I give sophie a apologetic look and she nodded her head in underistmate i feel bad for her she is so kind towards ishani after she give her a cold treatment i don't know what's her problem but i Can't scold her for that she is my little sister and a absolute spoiled bratt
I sigh and lead sophie to dinner table as well and we all started to have our dinner
