3rd POV

Amanina's room was kind of smelly and dirty. The moment Amanina's mother opened the door, they could feel eerie and dark. All of them were anticipating for Amanina to talk spesh Nurul. Their hearts throbbed like crazy with every step they took. Amanina's mother looked at them as she worried if her daughter will harm them. The room's light was kind of dim so her mother used torchlight instead. The three of them moved slowly until they stepped on something by accident.

'What's under my feet? Oh, sh*t!' Aifaa thought.

'Nah, it's nothing. There's no ghost sitting on the floor. They don't even have legs. But why does it feels a bit sharp?' Dee thought.

'No no no, this is not a haunted house. Why would I feel scared? It's not that I disturb them... Wait, did I?' Nurul thought. The three of them were afraid to let out a voice.

There were torn papers on the floor. It have been used with scribbles and made Amanina's room look messy. They also pinched their nose to prevent the smell. They could smell piss and shit though. Yet to Nurul the scribbles were something else. She saw all the papers were written with a black pen marker. Amanina's mother then passed the torchlight to her and waited behind the three of them. The other two just follow Nurul.

The latter directed the torchlight to the floor as she wanted to know what the scribbles were. But then, she saw other things that were disordered at the corner. There was a comb, lipstick, baby powder, tissue box, mascara, pen and marker scattered on the makeup table. The makeup mirror was broken and dusty as if someone had thrown a firm thing on it and never been used after that because the shattered mirror was still there. Dee and Aifaa looked in the same direction.

The walls close to them were dirty with scribbles like a round and star shape with thick dark paint. It also looks like oil. That was what they all thought including Amanina's mother. Nurul called Amanina twice but the latter did not budge to look or respond. "What's wrong with her? She usually was out of her mind whenever people got into her room but today was not the case. She was different" Her mother mumbled and felt relief somehow as these past months were agony for her.

Amanina just stood near her bed and stared at the walls. Her mother discontinued walking and standing near her daughter's closet as she did not want to crowd around her. Nurul glimpsed at their back as Amanina's mother halted from moving. Her mother nodded. She believed they could make Amanina's sanity in better condition. Nurul craned to the two but they made an 'Uh-uh, don't call me. I don't 'want' face thus she had no choice yet to walk near Amanina.

They started feeling uneasy. Nurul stepped slowly and almost alongside her yet Aifaa and Dee abruptly halted, watching what she going to do. Amanina's mother worriedly looked at her daughter wondering why she was quiet this night. It could have been better if her daughter was this calm every time she entered her room. Nurul hesitantly called while trying to peek at her face.

"Amanina? Are you... Okay?"

"Hm?"

Surprisingly, Amanina turned, hummed and showed a lopsided grin as if she was busy and not knowing Nurul, Dee and Aifaa were in her room. Everyone was shocked and agape including her mother as well. Gasps also were audible the moment she hummed. Nurul stoned for a moment but paced towards her with a naive smile. Nurul being Nurul, her heartbeat boosted than normal as anxiety got the best of her. Her soul nearly left her body while Amanina stay put ahead of her, keenly staring into her eyeballs.

"H-how are you, Amanina?" She asked.

"I'm fine. You can see me, right?" Amanina answered. Her lopsided grin swiftly changed to a psycho one. They could not differentiate it as her voice was gentle.

"Y-yeah. O-obviously you are before me" She stuttered.

"You're such a blur but at the same time, cute" Amanina said balderdash.

"Huh?" She was confused. What is she talking about?

"See? You are such a loser blur" Amanina added.

"What are you talking about? I don't understand" She queried, brows knitted as she does not apprehend what she trying to say.

"You thought Farahain did it don't yer?" Amanina questioned then showed a lopsided smirk.

"She... Did what?" She still could not comprehend.

"Dee, I think I know what she's talking about" Aifaa whispered.

"About what??? I don't catch what she tryna tell though" Dee also could not understand.

"She is th- Let's see what she's gonna tell her" Aifaa paused and pondered whether to tell her or not but decided to keep it to herself.

"What the??! It's better if you keep your mouth shut, you bull. I almost believe you sh-" Dee muttered.

Bam!

A loud thud could be heard and it interrupted their conversation. Once again, Amanina shocked everyone. She pushed Nurul to the makeup table next to her and cursed non-stop. She divulged and spat out everything she felt. Speechless. The two helped her yet Nurul went too close to Amanina. The aura turned gloomy and it sent chills to their spines. Their peepers twitching like something undesirable will occur. Nurul want to appease Amanina as she said nonsense and sudden pushing made her more confused.

"Don't pretend like you don't know, Nurul!" Amanina yelled.

"Farahain already apologised and I still couldn't fathom what you said" She calmly told.

"F*ck! You hurt me! And you said you didn't know?!!"

"I hurt you?"

"The time when we had a project together, you b*tch! It was supposed to be my title but you took it! The essay title should be mine! You guys should choose mine!"

"I-i'm sorry"

"You said the majority will be chosen but you chose yours instead to add the vote for your own! And besides, we just need one answer right now and choose the one that has more info on the internet! That's exactly what you said to me!"

"I think I chose yours instead of mine"

"No! You son of a b*tch! You are no different from the shaman but he's much smarter than you! You are selfish!"

"Wait, what did you say? Shaman? You're the one who did those nasty things to me?"

"Yup! Because of that, I felt offended! People thought you are naive but you're not! You are just like satan!"

"But why did you give me the homemade food?"

"Because I recited mantras to those foods and put SOMETHING in it! HAHAHA! You are stupid! It's fun to bully you though with brainwashing Farahain to join me. She knows how to be my slave!"

"You're just using her?" Aifaa shockingly asked, unbelievable.

"So, all this time it was just an act that you're being nice towards Nurul?" Dee's turns to question, curiosity got the better of her.

"Wh-what?" Nurul was beyond surprised. It was an understatement. She could not describe what she feels right now.

"Farahain is a fool" Amanina mocked.

"Why?!! Why do you have to use black magic? You can just be frank to me! Why??!" She desperately asked. She could not hold her patience anymore. She thought her as a friend. Just why. Why she did that when she could just say it to her?

Amanina tried provoking by treading in her direction. She creepily smiled at her and nearly pushed her again but Nurul had time to dodge. Nurul was livid. She wanted to choke her and began walking yet Amanina speedily grabbed a pen on the makeup table. She wanted to stab her. Both of them were out of their mind.

Dee and Aifaa saw them thus immediately sprinted and brought Nurul outside. Nurul was not satisfied. She forcefully released their holds but they were stronger and faster. They used more force and energy to drag her outside. Amanina's mother saw it and instantaneously followed them as well as locked the door. Amanina kept banging it hard while shouting that Nurul should suffer. Amanina's mother was beyond speechless and remorseful. Disgrace could be seen on her front.

'Is she really my daughter? Is that how these all took place? Why, my lovely daughter? What do you want from her? I never teach you such a thing' Nurul could feel what Amanina's mother felt. It stings so much for both of them.

Amanina's mother went to the kitchen not long after and brought them a jug of water with three glasses. Nurul sluggishly cooled down her outrage then spaced out thinking what Amanina told her just now as she could not recall that day. Dee and Aifaa swallowed the water in one go after they poured it on their glasses while Nurul does not even touch the glass. Amanina's mother was upset and disappointed. She never imagine her daughter was this awful and even went too far by using a shaman.

Dee and Aifaa said Amanina still got hopes and they could help her as they remembered about ustaz Tajul. They told Amanina's mother everything about what had happened to Nurul during the cure part and her mother attentively listened. The banging sound already stopped after several minutes and the environment became silent. Yet it could not help Nurul as she remained baffled and lost in thoughts.

'Why I can't remember that day? Did I really do that? I never raised my voice to anyone and treated them badly. And why I can't give my own opinion? What was she thinking? Aargh! Fu-'

Amanina's mother sniffed all of a sudden. She bowed in shame and apologised for her daughter as a representative. She could not look at her countenance as she felt ashamed of what her daughter had done. Nurul finally moved from her trance and realised that she was spacing out for quite some minutes. She heard the sniff and looked at Amanina's mother thus she caressed her back and told her it was not her fault. Amanina's mother needed this kind of support even though she was not her daughter but ever since months ago, she acted strong enough to survive and no one help her.

"It's okay, aunty. Cry if you want. I know it's must be hard for you to take care of her" Dee gently said.

Amanina's mother abruptly hugged Nurul while crying, shutting her eyes till it flowed. The latter sincerely smiled and somehow her madness lessened. She did not care if her shirt got wet as Amanina's mother was not in a good state. Her mental and physical were indeed weakened too and nearly breakdown if she was not able to be this great. She must hide the dissappoinment and sadness for now.

"You should be cautious with your words, Nurul. Don't easily get fool. You're too innocent that made people wanna step on you especially people like Amanina. You must fight them. Don't be weak. Look after yourself" Aifaa straightforwardly told.

Nurul thought these all were nothing and her relationship with Amanina was fine until this day came. Aifaa's words made her bottle up her emotions and miserable even more. She almost verged into tears but covered it pretty well. Not wanting sympathy from either Dee or Aifaa. She was tough but wished Aifaa did not say that as well as promised to herself to be careful when socializing with people she was not close with.

'You have to endure it, Nurul. Until you get home. Please'

'Don't cry, I'm begging you'
