Licorice slid against the ground of the forest. At this point in the battle, everything was overwhelming him.
All the rivals there, fighting him, healing each other, and cursing was spinning around in his head.
He tried throwing more spells but they kept on healing themselves.
He was running low on health.
In a last effort he made their healer pass out due to intense magic.
Although, he knew he was outnumbered.
It didn't stop him from trying everything to get out of their grasp, even if it meant hurting himself.
He was throwing too much at everything.
"You won't get away with this, Rags cookie!" One of them yelled.
"R-RAGS COOKIE?! YOU DARE TO CALL ME THAT?!" Licorice yelled back.
He threw a wave of black magic at them.
It hurt them as much as it hurt him.
This wasn't going to end soon.
~2 hours later~
Licorice was going to pass out.
His robes were torn.
His hair was a mess.
His body was pushed to the maximum.
There were cuts everywhere he could think of.
Just then, a cookie came out of the bushes.
Licorice gasped weakly in fear as the cookie reached out and grabbed a lose piece of his robes.
He was too weak to flail, so he accepted what was going to happen to him.
He closed his eyes, and prayed for the best...
~Cake tower, Red Velvet's room~
Red Velvet gazed down at Licorice's body.
He was satisfied with his work on patching his boyfriend up. Red Velvet patted him on the head. He then kissed him on the forehead.
Licorice's robes were in the trash. They were just rags now.
The cuts were patched up.
His hair was in a small braid.
Just then, Licorice began to open his eyes. He flinched as he felt Red Velvet's hand on his arm.
Licorice realized who he was with, and calmed down. He tried moving himself up.
"Licorice, you better stay down." Red Velvet glared at him.
"Why not?! I-I could have easily walked out..." Licorice mumbled, trying to make himself look tough.
"Are you joking me? You aren't leaving until your healed fully! Take a look at yourself!" Red Velvet said, a little annoyed.
Licorice took a moment to gaze at himself.
The only thing he had on was a shirt. And some shorts. He moved his arms and crossed them over his chest.
"Come on... You're with me. Calm down." Red Velvet muttered, holding Licorice's wrist.
Licorice blushed.
Red Velvet snorted.
"Are you seriously blushing over this?" Red Velvet teased.
"W-WHA?! No I'm not..." Licorice covered his face with his free hand.
"Awww... your so cute when your like that..." Red Velvet teased again.
"Ugh! You idiot..." Licorice mumbled, embarrassed.
Red Velvet's face faded from a smile.
Licorice look at him.
"But seriously, don't push yourself like that again." Red Velvet said, looking more serious.
"I will... I swear..." Licorice mumbled.
Red Velvet lightly pulled Licorice's chin up to make him face him.
"Swear?" He asked.
"...swear! I'm serious!" Licorice said with more force.
Red Velvet pulled him into a kiss.
Licorice returned it.
