Y/N's POV:

"alright, alright Seo jin, I'll text you once I get home"

I had waved her way before opening my umbrella and stepping out of the school building. It was raining again after about a month of dry weather.

That's why I couldn't help but frown a smile upon my lips. I loved the rain more than anything, it gave me a nice, but unexplainable comfort that I never wanted to let go off.

And so, about 2 years ago, on the start off my Freshmen year it became a habit of mine to skip the first school periods Whenever it rained.

Don't get me wrong, I was a good student, with remarkable grades, But even I had my values over other things.

A small sigh came upon my lips as I extended my hand to try and catch some raindrops, they looked beautiful even when dropping over my palm, and succumbing into nothing but wetness.

"I just hope that the rain will last until tomorrow"

You see, I would have gone to my usual place today as well, but due to me staying until late afternoon at school to study, it was too late to go anywhere at this time.
So I just shrugged it off and headed directly home, Where my older sister was waiting for me, as she was already back from work.

"Yah, you never told me you would come home late. I was worried you know?"

I could recognize that annoying, but caring voice from anywhere. My older sister and parent, L/N Soo Ah. Ever since Our Mother died of Cancer she's been the one in charge of raising me, which often confused the locals of her being my Mother.

"I was studying with Seo jin at the library, sorry for not telling you earlier Unnie"
I dropped my bag on the ground and directly rushed to the fridge, my stomach was craving something. And of course it was...

"Do we still have some Kimbap leftovers? Don't tell me you ate them all?"
I turned over to her desperately, She knew how much I loved her home made Kimbap.

"I gave the remaining ones to Seokjin for his lunch at work, you know how much he likes them as well"
there she was smiling again at the thought of her Boyfriend. I was glad she found happiness in a man, I really was.

But giving my favorite food away? She went a little too far with that..

I just sighed and took out some strawberry milk and a croissant from the kitchen before disappearing to my room.

My Sister just watched me as I closed the door slowly behind me, sighing herself.
"There she goes writing her poems again, youth really is something huh"

——————-

A couple hours have passed and I seemed to have fallen asleep on my desk as I was writing on my little notebook.

But a certain notification knocked me back up to consciousness.

I wheeled through my desk, squinting my eyes slightly when I turned on my phone. The display brightness almost made me go blind.

<<You haven't forgotten about the Group project tomorrow have you?>>

<< of course I haven't, it's all that you've been talking about today- >> ✓✓ read.

How could I forget about it, it was the highlight of this week, No- probably of the whole year. Seo jin has been praying and manifesting like crazy to get grouped with Jungkook. Her hopeless romantic self has fallen hard for him ever since Freshman year, I kinda felt sorry for her.

—Seo jinnie
<<Good! Tomorrow is our chance Baby! I'm gonna get paired with him no matter what :) >>

<< If you say so, I have a good feeling about it myself tho  >> ✓✓ read.

—Seo jinnie
<<it's not just me right?!>>

<< Btw, are you gonna be There tomorrow on the first and second period? It doesn't look like the rain's gonna stop anytime soon..>>

                                                                      —YOU
<<I doubt that I'll show up before Lunch, it's been raining after so long again, no way I'm gonna pass on this one >> ✓✓ read.

—Seo jinnie
<<You're lucky that the project pairing only starts after lunch on 4th period>>

<<take care of yourself until lunch tomorrow, and bring me some snacks on the way! Gn <3 >>

I put my phone to the side and stretched my arms while smiling. Seo jin was the only one who knew of my habit and where I went during the first periods whenever it rained.

I couldn't be happier to have her as a best friend, not only was she really pretty, but she was athletic as well. She used to be the one who protected me from meanies In primary school, and ever since then we have been inseparable.

For a moment I forgot how late it already was and got startled when remembering.
Thus leaving me no option but to get ready for bed, leaving my little notebook open on my Desk, with it the unfinished Poem I had recently came up with.

"𝐴 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒 𝑐𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑑 𝑓𝑟𝑜𝑚 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑚𝑖𝑑𝑠𝑡 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑏𝑟𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑠𝑘𝑦,

-Next Day- A rainy, but comforting morning I would not forget.

The Loud Sounds of dripping rain awoke me from my sleep, along with the annoying beeping my Alarm made.

It was weirdly easy for me to get out of my bed, probably due to my excitement. I didn't even bother skipping breakfast and packed all my necessary 'equipment' for today's little trip.

My Beige colored scarf, which fit my School uniform and looked pretty cute, My sketch- and notebook, my earphones, and of course-the most important of all, my lucky umbrella.

That bright red, corny and totally prominent umbrella was one of my most prized possessions. (The kdrama umbrella guys 😱)

I stepped out of my apartment and locked the door, since Unnie had already left to an early breakfast date with mister Kim Seokjin aka Kimbap stealer. (Aka Worldwide handsome yk )

The fresh Breeze of the rain and it's comforting smell mixed with the early morning vibe was enough to give me a wide Smile that wouldn't fade anytime soon.

I couldn't explain it, but the sight of nature made me relax in some sort of way, it felt magical. If you'd add some good Rnb and Jazz songs to listen to It'd be the perfect day in my eyes.

And so I did, while waiting for the subway under my red umbrella and brushing through my hair. My destined place was a bit further away, about 2 districts or so. Walking wouldn't be an option.

I plugged my earbuds in and entered the train quickly, in hope to get there as soon as possible.

There was a reason of why I had developed this habit of mine of course. It leads way back to middle school actually.

Just about when My Mother Died it became a comfort place, and there was a comfort person I had met.

I visit that place to this day to give My thanks for helping me through that time back then, I also visit in hope to meet that person again someday..

Again I found myself being in deep thoughts while brushing through all the trees and buildings that were passing me by, until the announcement for my stop was heard.

"Next stop : 'Sangan Station', Passengers heading to Gangnam, please change railways"

I quickly grabbed my umbrella and rushed out of the subway. Most of the people were Office workers, as there Were no Middle- or High schools nearby. I did feel out of place, but was used to it after the years.

After getting out of the crowded subway station I picked my usual Hot chocolate from the Coffee shop, it was part of my rainy day routine you could say.

And like that, I shortly arrived to the place. Sangan Park. Also known as Park of Faith/Destiny.

Although it was one of Seouls most beautiful parks, it was only really vacant during summer and on good days. It's traditional Theme was popular among tourists.

The sight was amazing, especially now as it was raining. It's like I was experiencing memories all over again.

The lakes, bridges, trees, and most especially the booth. It was just the perfect place to sit down and admire the nature while it was raining.

I already could see it form afar, the place I had been longing for the most. I couldn't help but start running over there all excited, but, that didn't last long.

To be precise, There was already someone sitting there. Someone who looked quite familiar, i could've sworn his identity was at the tip of my tongue.

Due to the surprise All I did was stand there in front of the booth. This was the first time someone else was there before me on a rainy day...

And it wouldn't be the last.
