The wind blew vigorously warning me to go back as I walked down the street. I dragged the body as I walked, occasionally hitting bumps in the road as she bled through the bag. She had brought this upon herself when she decided to sell me out. We were supposed to be the new Bonnie and Clyde but she betrayed me, got scared of getting caught and ran to the feds to make a deal.
Pathetic.
I threw her in the hole that I had dug earlier and walked a few more feet to bury her head in another. When I was done I set a dead bird on top of the head and poison ivy above the body and as I was patting the dirt down I suddenly felt something rolling down my cheek. It was cold and wet and when I went to touch it I saw that it was water. I twisted my head in confusion and felt my vision blurring as another tear dropped and another and another.
I sat there crying for the first time in my life shocked at my body's reaction.
I had just bludgeoned the love of my life to death and I was... crying….I chuckled, tears still rolling until the chuckling turned into loud maniacal laughing and that's when the cops came
“FBI! HANDS UP! NOW!”
They surrounded me, 6 in total pointing their lasers at my chest, head and back but all i could do was laugh.
“I SAID HANDS UP!”
They stepped closer and I did what they said as I continued laughing. Seizing the opportunity, two of them tackled me and one got their handcuffs ready as they read me my crimes
“Azreal Johns, you are under arrest for the murders of 9 men and 1 woman.”
with no sincerity I shed one more tear,
“I know”
