the rose.

after about twenty minutes of crying in her father's shirt, she let go and he walked out to his car to get something.
She was so egar to find out what it was.
He came back inside,
With something behind his back.
The little girl sat on the couch as he got on one knee and gave her a rose in a little pink vase.
"Here babygirl, I found this rose and I thought of you because its beautiful and so are you. I would have got you a dozen roses, but this one is one of a kind, just like you baby."
She smiled and gave him a big hug and her eyes turned brighter.
